യെഹെസ്കേൽ 26
1 ൧ ബാബിലോന്യ പ്രവാസത്തിന്റെ പതിനൊന്നാം ആണ്ട് ഒന്നാം തീയതി യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് എനിക്കുണ്ടായത് എന്തെന്നാൽ:
And in the eleuenth yeere, in the first day of the moneth, the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying,
2 ൨ “മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യെരൂശലേമിനെക്കുറിച്ച്: ‘നന്നായി, ജനതകളുടെ വാതിലായിരുന്നവൾ തകർന്നുപോയി; അവൾ എന്നിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൾ ശൂന്യമായിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുകയാൽ ഞാൻ നിറയും’ എന്ന് സോർ പറയുന്നതുകൊണ്ട്
Sonne of man, because that Tyrus hath said against Ierusalem, Aha, the gate of the people is broken: it is turned vnto me: for seeing she is desolate, I shall be replenished,
3 ൩ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: സോരേ, ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; സമുദ്രം തന്റെ തിരകളെ കയറിവരുമാറാക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ഞാൻ അനേകം ജനതകളെ നിന്റെനേരെ പുറപ്പെട്ടുവരുമാറാക്കും.
Therefore thus sayth the Lord God, Beholde, I come against thee, O Tyrus, and I will bring vp many nations against thee, as the sea mounteth vp with his waues.
4 ൪ അവർ സോരിന്റെ മതിലുകൾ നശിപ്പിച്ച്, അതിന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളെ ഇടിച്ചുകളയും; ഞാൻ അതിന്റെ പൊടി അടിച്ചുവാരിക്കളഞ്ഞ് അതിനെ വെറും പാറയാക്കും.
And they shall destroy the walles of Tyrus and breake downe her towres: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her like the top of a rocke.
5 ൫ അത് സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ വലവിരിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള സ്ഥലമായിത്തീരും; ഞാൻ അത് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്; “അത് ജനതകൾക്കു കവർച്ചയായിത്തീരും.
Thou shalt be for the spreading of nettes in the middes of the sea: for I haue spoken it, sayth the Lord God, and it shalbe a spoile to ye nations.
And her daughters which are in the fielde, shall be slaine by the sworde, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
7 ൭ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഞാൻ വടക്കുനിന്ന് രാജാധിരാജാവായ നെബൂഖദ്നേസർ എന്ന ബാബേൽരാജാവിനെ കുതിരകളോടും രഥങ്ങളോടും കുതിരച്ചേവകരോടും ജനസമൂഹത്തോടും വളരെ പടജ്ജനത്തോടും കൂടി സോരിനുനേരെ വരുത്തും.
For thus sayth the Lord God, Behold, I will bring vpon Tyrus Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel, a King of Kings from the North, with horses and with charets, and with horsemen, with a multitude and much people.
8 ൮ അവൻ നാട്ടിൻപുറത്തുള്ള നിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരെ വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലും; അവൻ നിന്റെനേരെ ഉപരോധമതിലുകൾ പണിത്, മൺകൂനകൾ ഉയർത്തും.
He shall slay with the sword thy daughters in the fielde, and he shall make a fort against thee, and cast a mount against thee, and lift vp the buckler against thee.
He shall set engins of warre before him against thy walles, and with his weapons breake downe thy towres.
10 ൧൦ അവന്റെ കുതിരകളുടെ പെരുപ്പംകൊണ്ട് ഉയരുന്ന പൊടി നിന്നെ മൂടും; മതിൽ ഇടിഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്ന പട്ടണത്തിലേക്ക് കടക്കുന്നതുപോലെ അവൻ നിന്റെ ഗോപുരങ്ങളിൽകൂടി കടക്കുമ്പോൾ കുതിരച്ചേവകരുടെയും ചക്രങ്ങളുടെയും രഥങ്ങളുടെയും മുഴക്കംകൊണ്ട് നിന്റെ മതിലുകൾ കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകും.
The dust of his horses shall couer thee, for their multitude: thy walles shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheeles, and of the charets, when he shall enter into thy gates as into the entrie of a citie that is broken downe.
11 ൧൧ തന്റെ കുതിരകളുടെ കുളമ്പുകൊണ്ട് അവൻ നിന്റെ സകലവീഥികളെയും മെതിച്ചുകളയും; നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ അവൻ വാൾകൊണ്ടു കൊല്ലും; നിന്റെ ബലമുള്ള തൂണുകൾ നിലത്തു വീണുകിടക്കും.
With the hooues of his horses shall he treade downe all thy streetes: he shall slay thy people by the sworde, and the pillars of thy strength shall fall downe to the ground.
12 ൧൨ അവർ നിന്റെ സമ്പത്ത് കവർന്ന് നിന്റെ ചരക്കു കൊള്ളയിട്ട് നിന്റെ മതിലുകൾ ഇടിച്ച് നിന്റെ മനോഹരഭവനങ്ങൾ നശിപ്പിക്കും; നിന്റെ കല്ലും മരവും മണ്ണും എല്ലാം അവർ വെള്ളത്തിൽ ഇട്ടുകളയും.
And they shall robbe thy riches, and spoyle thy marchandise, and they shall breake downe thy walles, and destroy thy pleasant houses, and they shall cast thy stones and thy timber and thy dust into the middes of the water.
Thus will I cause the sounde of thy songs to cease, and the sound of thine harpes shall be no more heard.
14 ൧൪ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വെറും പാറയാക്കും; നീ വലവിരിക്കുവാനുള്ള സ്ഥലമായിത്തീരും; നിന്നെ ഇനി പണിയുകയില്ല; യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ അത് കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
I wil lay thee like the top of a rocke: thou shalt be for a spreading of nets: thou shalt be built no more: for I the Lord haue spoken it, sayth the Lord God.
15 ൧൫ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് സോരിനോട് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “നിഹതന്മാർ ഞരങ്ങുമ്പോഴും നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യത്തിൽ സംഹാരം നടക്കുമ്പോഴും നിന്റെ വീഴ്ചയുടെ ശബ്ദത്താൽ ദ്വീപുകൾ നടുങ്ങിപ്പോകുകയില്ലയോ?
Thus sayth the Lord God to Tyrus, Shall not the yles tremble at the sounde of thy fall? and at the crie of the wounded, when they shall be slaine and murthered in the middes of thee?
16 ൧൬ അപ്പോൾ സമുദ്രത്തിലെ സകലപ്രഭുക്കന്മാരും സിംഹാസനം വിട്ടിറങ്ങി, അങ്കികൾ നീക്കി വിചിത്രവസ്ത്രങ്ങൾ അഴിച്ചുവയ്ക്കും; അവർ വിറയൽപൂണ്ട് നിലത്തിരുന്ന് നിമിഷംതോറും വിറച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ച് സ്തംഭിച്ചുപോകും.
Then all the princes of the sea shall come downe from their thrones: they shall lay away their robes, and put off their broydered garments, and shall clothe themselues with astonishment: they shall sitte vpon the ground, and be astonished at euery moment, and be amased at thee.
17 ൧൭ അവർ നിന്നെച്ചൊല്ലി ഒരു വിലാപം തുടങ്ങി നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ച് പറയും: ‘സമുദ്രസഞ്ചാരികൾ വസിച്ചതും കീർത്തികേട്ടതുമായ പട്ടണമേ, നീ എങ്ങനെ നശിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നീയും നിന്റെ നിവാസികളും സമുദ്രത്തിൽ പ്രാബല്യം പ്രാപിച്ചിരുന്നു; അതിലെ സകലനിവാസികൾക്കും നിങ്ങളെ പേടി ആയിരുന്നുവല്ലോ!
And they shall take vp a lamentation for thee, and say to thee, Howe art thou destroyed, that wast inhabited of the sea men, the renoumed citie which was strong in the sea, both she and her inhabitants, which cause their feare to be on all that haunt therein!
18 ൧൮ ഇപ്പോൾ നിന്റെ വീഴ്ചയുടെ നാളിൽ ദ്വീപുകൾ വിറയ്ക്കും; അതെ, സമുദ്രത്തിലെ ദ്വീപുകൾ നിന്റെ തകർച്ചയിൽ ഭ്രമിച്ചുപോകും”.
Nowe shall the yles be astonished in the day of thy fall: yea, the yles that are in the sea, shall be troubled at thy departure.
19 ൧൯ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: “ഞാൻ നിന്നെ നിവാസികൾ ഇല്ലാത്ത പട്ടണങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ശൂന്യപട്ടണം ആക്കുമ്പോഴും ഞാൻ നിന്റെമേൽ ആഴിയെ വരുത്തി പെരുവെള്ളം നിന്നെ മൂടുമ്പോഴും,
For thus saith the Lord God, When I shall make thee a desolate citie, like ye cities that are not inhabited, and when I shall bring the deepe vpon thee, and great waters shall couer thee,
20 ൨൦ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടുകൂടി പുരാതനജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ഇറക്കുകയും നിനക്ക് നിവാസികൾ ഇല്ലാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിനും നീ ജീവനുള്ളവരുടെ ദേശത്തു നിലനില്‍ക്കാതെയിരിക്കേണ്ടതിനും ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ഭൂമിയുടെ അധോഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ, പുരാതനശൂന്യങ്ങളിൽ തന്നെ, കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങുന്നവരോടുകൂടി താമസിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
When I shall cast thee downe with them that descende into the pitte, with the people of olde time, and shall set thee in the lowe partes of the earth, like the olde ruines, with them, I say, which goe downe to the pitte, so that thou shalt not be inhabited, and I shall shewe my glory in the land of the liuing,
21 ൨൧ ഞാൻ നിനക്ക് ഭീതിജനകമായ അവസാനം വരുത്തും; നീ ഇല്ലാതെയാകും; നിന്നെ അന്വേഷിച്ചാലും ഇനി ഒരിക്കലും നിന്നെ കണ്ടെത്തുകയില്ല” എന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാട്.
I will bring thee to nothing, and thou shalt be no more: though thou be sought for, yet shalt thou neuer be found againe, sayth the Lord God.
