യെഹെസ്കേൽ 1
1 ൧ എന്റെ ആയുസിന്റെ മുപ്പതാം ആണ്ട് നാലാംമാസം അഞ്ചാം തീയതി ഞാൻ കെബാർനദീതീരത്ത് പ്രവാസികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഇരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, സ്വർഗ്ഗം തുറക്കപ്പെട്ടു; ഞാൻ ദിവ്യദർശനങ്ങൾ കണ്ടു.
Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin’s captivity,
3 ൩ കല്ദയദേശത്ത് കെബാർനദീതീരത്തുവച്ച് ബൂസിയുടെ മകൻ യെഹെസ്കേൽ പുരോഹിതന് യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് ഉണ്ടായി; അവിടെ യഹോവയുടെ കരവും അവന്റെമേൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
The word of the LORD came expressly to Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there on him.
4 ൪ ഞാൻ നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ വടക്കുനിന്ന് ഒരു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റും ഒരു വലിയ മേഘവും ആളിക്കത്തുന്ന തീയും വരുന്നത് കണ്ടു; അതിന്റെ ചുറ്റും ഒരു പ്രകാശവും അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽനിന്ന്, തീയുടെ നടുവിൽനിന്നു തന്നെ, ശുക്ലസ്വർണ്ണംപോലെ ഒരു കാഴ്ചയും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire enfolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the middle thereof as the color of amber, out of the middle of the fire.
Also out of the middle thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
7 ൭ അവയുടെ കാൽ നിവർന്നതും, പാദങ്ങൾ കാളക്കിടാവിന്റെ കുളമ്പുപോലെയും ആയിരുന്നു; മിനുക്കിയ താമ്രംപോലെ അവ മിന്നിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf’s foot: and they sparkled like the color of burnished brass.
8 ൮ അവയ്ക്കു നാല് ഭാഗത്തും ചിറകിന്റെ കീഴിലായി മനുഷ്യന്റെ കൈകൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; നാലിനും മുഖങ്ങളും ചിറകുകളും ഇപ്രകാരം ആയിരുന്നു.
And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.
Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
10 ൧൦ അവയുടെ മുഖരൂപമോ: അവയ്ക്കു മനുഷ്യമുഖം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; നാലിനും വലത്തുഭാഗത്ത് സിംഹമുഖവും ഇടത്തുഭാഗത്ത് കാളമുഖവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; നാലിനും കഴുകുമുഖവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
11 ൧൧ ഇങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നു അവയുടെ മുഖങ്ങൾ; അവയുടെ ചിറകുകൾ മേൽഭാഗം വിടർന്നിരുന്നു; ഈ രണ്ടു ചിറകുകൾ തമ്മിൽ സ്പർശിച്ചും ഈ രണ്ടു ചിറകുകൾകൊണ്ട് ശരീരം മറച്ചും ഇരുന്നു.
Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.
12 ൧൨ അവ ഓരോന്നും നേരെ മുമ്പോട്ടു പോകും; പോകുമ്പോൾ അവ തിരിയാതെ ആത്മാവിനു പോകേണ്ട സ്ഥലത്തേക്ക് തന്നെ പോകും.
And they went every one straight forward: where the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.
13 ൧൩ ജീവികളുടെ നടുവിൽ കത്തിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന തീക്കനൽപോലെയും പന്തങ്ങൾ പോലെയും ഒരു കാഴ്ച ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അത് ജീവികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ സഞ്ചരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു; ആ തീ തേജസ്സുള്ളതായിരുന്നു. തീയിൽനിന്ന് മിന്നൽ പുറപ്പെട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.
And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.
Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel on the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.
16 ൧൬ ചക്രങ്ങളുടെ കാഴ്ചയും പണിയും പുഷ്പരാഗത്തിന്റെ കാഴ്ചപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു; അവയ്ക്കു നാലിനും ഒരേ ആകൃതി ആയിരുന്നു; അവയുടെ കാഴ്ചയും പണിയും ചക്രത്തിൽകൂടി മറ്റൊരു ചക്രം ഉള്ളതുപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.
The appearance of the wheels and their work was like to the color of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
When they went, they went on their four sides: and they turned not when they went.
18 ൧൮ അവയുടെ പട്ട പൊക്കമേറിയതും ഭയങ്കരവും ആയിരുന്നു; നാലിന്റെയും പട്ടകൾക്കു ചുറ്റും അടുത്തടുത്ത് കണ്ണുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.
And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
20 ൨൦ ആത്മാവിനു പോകേണ്ട സ്ഥലത്തെല്ലാം അവ പോകും; ജീവികളുടെ ആത്മാവ് ചക്രങ്ങളിൽ ആയിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് ചക്രങ്ങൾ അവയോടുകൂടി പൊങ്ങും.
Wherever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
21 ൨൧ ജീവികളുടെ ആത്മാവ് ചക്രങ്ങളിൽ ആയിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട്, അവ പോകുമ്പോൾ ഇവയും പോകും; അവ നില്ക്കുമ്പോൾ ഇവയും നില്ക്കും; അവ ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്നു പൊങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ചക്രങ്ങളും അവയോടുകൂടി പൊങ്ങും.
When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
22 ൨൨ ജീവികളുടെ തലയ്ക്കുമീതെ ഭയങ്കരമായ, പളുങ്കുപോലെയുള്ള ഒരു വിതാനത്തിന്റെ രൂപം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അത് അവയുടെ തലയ്ക്കുമീതെ വിരിഞ്ഞിരുന്നു.
And the likeness of the firmament on the heads of the living creature was as the color of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
23 ൨൩ വിതാനത്തിന്റെ കീഴിൽ അവയുടെ ചിറകുകൾ നേർക്കുനേരെ വിടർന്നിരുന്നു; ഓരോ ജീവിക്കും ശരീരത്തിന്റെ ഇരുഭാഗവും മൂടുവാൻ ഈ രണ്ടു ചിറകുകൾ വീതം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.
24 ൨൪ അവ പോകുമ്പോൾ ചിറകുകളുടെ ശബ്ദം പെരുവെള്ളത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ദംപോലെയും സർവ്വശക്തനായ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാദംപോലെയും ഒരു സൈന്യത്തിന്റെ ആരവം പോലെയും ഉള്ള മുഴക്കമായി ഞാൻ കേട്ടു; നില്ക്കുമ്പോൾ അവ ചിറകു താഴ്ത്തും.
And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.
25 ൨൫ അവയുടെ തലയ്ക്കു മീതെയുള്ള വിതാനത്തിനു മുകളിൽനിന്ന് ഒരു നാദം പുറപ്പെട്ടു; നില്ക്കുമ്പോൾ അവ ചിറകു താഴ്ത്തും.
And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.
26 ൨൬ അവയുടെ തലയ്ക്കു മീതെയുള്ള വിതാനത്തിനു മീതെ നീലക്കല്ലിന്റെ കാഴ്ചപോലെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ രൂപവും സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ രൂപത്തിന്മേൽ അതിന് മീതെ മനുഷ്യസാദൃശ്യത്തിൽ ഒരു രൂപവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and on the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above on it.
27 ൨൭ അവിടുത്തെ അരമുതൽ മേലോട്ടുള്ള ഭാഗം തീ നിറമുള്ള ശുക്ലസ്വർണ്ണംപോലെ ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; അവിടുത്തെ അരമുതൽ കീഴോട്ട് തീപോലെ ഞാൻ കണ്ടു; അതിന്റെ ചുറ്റും പ്രകാശവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
And I saw as the color of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.
28 ൨൮ അതിന്റെ ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പ്രകാശം മഴയുള്ള ദിവസത്തിൽ മേഘത്തിൽ കാണുന്ന വില്ലിന്റെ കാഴ്ചപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു. യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്വത്തിന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷത ഇങ്ങനെ ആയിരുന്നു കണ്ടത്; അത് കണ്ടിട്ട് ഞാൻ കവിണ്ണുവീണു; സംസാരിക്കുന്ന ഒരുവന്റെ ശബ്ദവും ഞാൻ കേട്ടു.
As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.
