എഫെസ്യർ 1
1 ൧ ദൈവഹിതത്താൽ ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിന്റെ അപ്പൊസ്തലനായ പൗലൊസ് എഫെസൊസിലുള്ള വിശുദ്ധർക്കും ക്രിസ്തുയേശുവിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നവർക്കും എഴുതുന്നത്:
Paul, apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, that is, the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2 ൨ നമ്മുടെ പിതാവായ ദൈവത്തിങ്കൽനിന്നും കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിങ്കൽ നിന്നും നിങ്ങൾക്ക് കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകട്ടെ.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and Sovereign Jesus Christ.
3 ൩ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലെ എല്ലാവിധ ആത്മികാനുഗ്രഹങ്ങളാലും ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ നമ്മെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദൈവവും പിതാവുമായവൻ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെട്ടവൻ.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ;
4 ൪ അത്, നാം തന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ വിശുദ്ധരും നിഷ്കളങ്കരും ആകുന്നതിനുവേണ്ടി, അവൻ നമ്മെ ലോകസ്ഥാപനത്തിന് മുമ്പെ ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തപ്രകാരമത്രേ.
just as He[F] chose us in Him[S] before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before Him[F], in love,
having predestined us into an adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, into Him[S], according to the good pleasure of His[F] will,
6 ൬ അവൻ പ്രിയനായവനിൽ നമുക്ക് സൗജന്യമായി നല്കിയ തന്റെ കൃപാമഹത്വത്തിന്റെ പുകഴ്ചയ്ക്കായി, സ്നേഹത്തിൽ നമ്മെ മുന്നിയമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തുവല്ലോ;
to the praise of the glory of His grace, with which He graced us in the Beloved;
in whom we have the redemption through His[S] blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His[F] grace,
that He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and intelligent design,
9 ൯ അവനിൽ താൻ മുന്നിൎണ്ണയിച്ച തന്റെ പ്രസാദത്തിനു തക്കവണ്ണം തന്റെ ഹിതത്തിന്റെ മർമ്മം സകലജ്ഞാനത്തിലും വിവേകത്തിലും അവൻ നമ്മോട് അറിയിച്ചു.
having made known to us the ‘secret’ of His will, according to His good pleasure which He purposed in Him[S],
10 ൧൦ അത് സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലും ഭൂമിയിലുമുള്ള സകലവും ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ ഒന്നായിച്ചേർക്കുക എന്ന കാലസമ്പൂർണ്ണതയിലെ വ്യവസ്ഥയ്ക്കുവേണ്ടി തന്നെ.
with a view to administering the fullness of the times, so as to bring all things together under one head in Christ—those on the heavens and those on the earth—in Him[S],
11 ൧൧ അവനിൽ നാം അവകാശവും പ്രാപിച്ച്, തന്റെ ഹിതത്തിന്റെ ആലോചനപോലെ സകലവും പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവന്റെ നിർണ്ണയപ്രകാരം ക്രിസ്തുവിൽ നാം മുൻനിയമിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു.
in whom we were also assigned an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of Him[F] who works all things according to the decision of His will,
so that we should be to the praise of His glory, we who first trusted in the Christ;
13 ൧൩ അവനിൽ നിങ്ങളും, നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷയെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള സുവിശേഷം എന്ന സത്യവചനം കേട്ട്, വിശ്വസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ട്,
about whom, to be sure, we had heard the true Word—the Gospel of your salvation; by whom, since you also believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
14 ൧൪ തന്റെ മഹത്വത്തിന്റെ പുകഴ്ചയ്ക്കായി, തന്റെ സ്വന്ത ജനത്തിന്റെ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പിനായുള്ള നമ്മുടെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ ഉറപ്പായ വാഗ്ദത്തത്തിൻ പരിശുദ്ധാത്മാവിനാൽ മുദ്രയിടപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
who is the down payment on our inheritance until the release of the possession, to the praise of His glory.
15 ൧൫ അതുനിമിത്തം നിങ്ങൾക്ക് കർത്താവായ യേശുവിലുള്ള വിശ്വാസത്തെയും, സകലവിശുദ്ധന്മാരോടുമുള്ള സ്നേഹത്തെയും കുറിച്ച് ഞാൻ കേട്ടിട്ട്,
Because of this, having heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints,
I really do not stop giving thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:
17 ൧൭ നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദൈവവും മഹത്വമുള്ള പിതാവുമായവൻ തന്നെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള പരിജ്ഞാനത്തിൽ, ജ്ഞാനത്തിന്റെയും വെളിപാടിന്റെയും ആത്മാവിനെ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് തരുമാറാകട്ടെ.
that the God of our Lord, Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the real knowledge of Himself,
18 ൧൮ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയദൃഷ്ടി പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചിട്ട്, അവന്റെ വിളിയാലുള്ള ആശ എന്തെന്നും, വിശുദ്ധന്മാരിൽ അവന്റെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ മഹിമാധനം എന്തെന്നും,
the eyes of your heart having been enlightened, that you may know 1) what is the hope of His[F] calling, and 2) what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
19 ൧൯ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന നമുക്കുവേണ്ടിയുള്ള അവന്റെ ശക്തിയുടെ അളവറ്റ വലിപ്പം എന്തെന്നും നിങ്ങൾ അറിയേണ്ടതിനും പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്നു. അവന്റെ ബലത്തിൻ വല്ലഭത്വത്താൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ആ ശക്തി തന്നെ
and 3) what the exceeding greatness of His power into us who are believing, according to the demonstration of the extent of His might
which He exercised in the Christ when He raised Him[S] from among the dead and seated Him at His[F] right, in the heavenly realms,
21 ൨൧ എല്ലാ വാഴ്ചയ്ക്കും അധികാരത്തിനും ശക്തിക്കും കർത്തൃത്വത്തിനും, ഈ ലോകത്തിൽ മാത്രമല്ല, വരുവാനുള്ളതിലും വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന സകലനാമത്തിനും അത്യന്തം മീതെയായി സ്വർഗ്ഗസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ, തന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്ത് ഇരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു. (aiōn g165)
far above every ruler and authority and power and dominion—even every name that can be named, not only in this age but also in the next. (aiōn g165)
In short, He[F] placed everything under His[S] feet, and appointed Him to be Head over everything in the Church,
23 ൨൩ എല്ലാറ്റിലും എല്ലാം നിറയ്ക്കുന്നവന്റെ നിറവായിരിക്കുന്ന അവന്റെ ശരീരമായ സഭയ്ക്കായി സർവ്വത്തിനും മീതെ അവനെ തലയാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
which is His body, the complement of Him who fills everything in every way.
