2 ശമൂവേൽ 22
1 ൧ യഹോവ ദാവീദിനെ സകലശത്രുക്കളുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും ശൌലിന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നും വിടുവിച്ച ദിവസം അവൻ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് ചൊല്ലിയ കീർത്തനം:
David spoke to Jehovah the words of this song in the day that Jehovah delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul:
and he said, "Jehovah is my Rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer.
3 ൩ എന്റെ ബലമായ ദൈവം; അങ്ങയിൽ ഞാൻ ആശ്രയിക്കും; എന്റെ പരിചയും എന്റെ രക്ഷയായ കൊമ്പും എന്റെ അഭയസ്ഥാനവും എന്റെ കോട്ടയും തന്നെ. എന്റെ രക്ഷിതാവേ, അങ്ങ് എന്നെ അക്രമത്തിൽനിന്ന് രക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
My God, my Rock, in him I will take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; from violent people he saves me.
4 ൪ സ്തുതിക്കപ്പെടുവാൻ യോഗ്യനായ യഹോവയെ ഞാൻ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും; എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളിൽനിന്ന് അവിടുന്ന് എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കും.
I call on Jehovah, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.
For the waves of death surrounded me, and the currents of ungodliness overwhelmed me.
The cords of Sheol were around me. The snares of death caught me. (Sheol h7585)
7 ൭ എന്റെ കഷ്ടതയിൽ ഞാൻ യഹോവയെ വിളിച്ചു, എന്റെ ദൈവത്തോടുതന്നെ നിലവിളിച്ചു, അവിടുന്ന് അവിടുത്തെ ആലയത്തിൽനിന്ന് എന്റെ അപേക്ഷ കേട്ടു; എന്റെ നിലവിളി അവിടുത്തെ ചെവികളിൽ എത്തി.
In my distress I called upon Jehovah, and I cried out to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came into his ears.
Then the earth shook and trembled. The foundations of the mountains quaked and were shaken, because he was angry.
9 ൯ അവിടുത്തെ മൂക്കിൽനിന്നു പുകപൊങ്ങി, അവിടുത്തെ വായിൽനിന്നു ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന തീ പുറപ്പെട്ടു, തീക്കനൽ അവനിൽനിന്ന് ജ്വലിച്ചു.
Smoke went up out of his nostrils. Fire out of his mouth devoured. Coals were kindled by it.
He bowed the heavens also, and came down. Thick darkness was under his feet.
He rode on a cherub, and flew; and he soared on the wings of the wind.
He made darkness his hiding place, his canopy around him thick clouds dark with water.
From the brightness before him his thick clouds passed on, with hailstones and coals of fire.
Jehovah thundered from heaven. The Most High uttered his voice.
And he sent out arrows and scattered them, and he shot lightning bolts and routed them.
16 ൧൬ യഹോവയുടെ ശാസനയാൽ, തിരുമൂക്കിലെ ശ്വാസത്തിന്റെ ഊത്തിനാൽ കടലിന്റെ ചാലുകൾ കാണപ്പെട്ടു ഭൂതലത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങൾ വെളിപ്പെട്ടു.
Then the channels of the sea appeared. The foundations of the world were laid bare by the rebuke of Jehovah, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
He sent from on high and he took me. He drew me out of many waters.
18 ൧൮ അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ ബലമുള്ള ശത്രുവിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ പകച്ചവരിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു; അവർ എന്നിലും ബലമേറിയവർ ആയിരുന്നു.
He delivered me from my strong enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too mighty for me.
They came on me in the day of my calamity, but Jehovah was my support.
20 ൨൦ അവിടുന്ന് എന്നെ അപകടത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് വിടുവിച്ചു, എന്നിൽ പ്രസാദിച്ചിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു.
He also brought me out into a large place. He delivered me, because he delighted in me.
21 ൨൧ യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണം എനിക്ക് പ്രതിഫലം നല്കി, എന്റെ കൈകളുടെ വെടിപ്പിനൊത്തവണ്ണം എനിക്ക് പകരം തന്നു.
Jehovah rewarded me according to my righteousness. He rewarded me according to the cleanness of my hands.
For I have kept the ways of Jehovah, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
23 ൨൩ അവിടുത്തെ വിധികൾ ഒക്കെയും എന്റെ മുമ്പിലുണ്ട്; അവിടുത്തെ ചട്ടങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് ഞാൻ വിട്ടുനടന്നിട്ടുമില്ല.
For all his ordinances were before me, and his statutes I did not put away from me.
I was also perfect toward him. I kept myself from my iniquity.
25 ൨൫ യഹോവ എന്റെ നീതിക്കു തക്കവണ്ണവും അങ്ങയുടെ കാഴ്ചയിൽ എന്റെ നിർമ്മലതക്കൊത്തവണ്ണവും എനിക്ക് പകരം നല്കി.
Therefore Jehovah has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.
With the faithful you show yourself faithful. With the innocent you show yourself innocent.
With the pure you show yourself pure. And with the crooked you show yourself tortuous.
28 ൨൮ താഴ്മയുള്ള ജനത്തെ അങ്ങ് രക്ഷിക്കും; നിഗളിച്ചു നടക്കുന്നവരെ താഴ്ത്തേണ്ടതിന് അങ്ങ് അവരുടെ മേൽ ദൃഷ്ടിവക്കുന്നു.
You save a humble people, but the eyes of the proud you will bring low.
For you light my lamp. Jehovah my God lights up my darkness.
30 ൩൦ അങ്ങയുടെ ശക്തിയാൽ ഞാൻ പടക്കൂട്ടത്തിന്റെ നേരെ പാഞ്ഞുചെല്ലും; എന്റെ ദൈവത്താൽ ഞാൻ മതിൽ ചാടിക്കടക്കും.
For by you, I run against a troop. By my God, I leap over a wall.
31 ൩൧ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വഴി പൂർണ്ണതയുള്ളത്, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം ഊതിക്കഴിച്ചത്; അവിടുത്തെ ശരണമാക്കുന്ന ഏവർക്കും അവിടുന്ന് പരിച ആകുന്നു.
As for God, his way is perfect. The word of Jehovah is pure. He is a shield to all those who take refuge in him.
For who is God, besides Jehovah? Who is a rock, besides our God,
the God who girds me with strength, and makes my way blameless?
He makes my feet like those of a deer, and sets me on my high places.
35 ൩൫ അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ കൈകൾക്ക് യുദ്ധ പരിശീലനം നൽകുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ട് എന്റെ കൈകൾക്ക് താമ്രംകൊണ്ടുള്ള വില്ല് കുലക്കാം.
He teaches my hands to war, so that my arms bend a bow of bronze.
36 ൩൬ അങ്ങയുടെ രക്ഷ എന്ന പരിചയും അങ്ങ് എനിക്ക് തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു; അങ്ങയുടെ സൗമ്യത എന്നെ വലിയവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
You have also given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand holds me up, and your help has made me great.
You have enlarged my steps under me. My feet have not slipped.
I pursued my enemies and overtook them, and I did not turn back until they were destroyed.
39 ൩൯ അവർ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന് ഞാൻ അവരെ നശിപ്പിക്കുകയും മുറിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു, അവർ എന്റെ കാല്ക്കീഴിൽ വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.
And I consumed them, and struck them through, so that they did not rise. And they fell beneath my feet.
40 ൪൦ യുദ്ധത്തിനായി അങ്ങ് എന്റെ അരയ്ക്ക് ശക്തി കെട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എനിക്കെതിരെ എഴുന്നേറ്റവരെ അങ്ങ് എനിക്ക് കീഴടക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
For you have equipped me with strength for the battle. You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.
41 ൪൧ എന്നെ വെറുക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാൻ നശിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന് അങ്ങ് എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ കഴുത്തും എനിക്ക് തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.
42 ൪൨ അവർ ചുറ്റും നോക്കിയെങ്കിലും രക്ഷിക്കുവാൻ ആരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല; യഹോവയിങ്കലേക്കു നോക്കി, അവിടുന്ന് അവർക്ക് ഉത്തരം അരുളിയതുമില്ല.
They cry out, but there was none to save; even to Jehovah, but he did not answer them.
Then I ground them as fine as the dust on the surface of a path. Like the mud in the streets, I trampled them.
44 ൪൪ എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ കലഹങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും അങ്ങ് എന്നെ വിടുവിച്ചു, ജനതകൾക്ക് എന്നെ തലവനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അറിയാത്ത ജനം എന്നെ സേവിക്കും.
You also have delivered me from the strivings of my people. You have kept me to be the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known will serve me.
As soon as they hear of me they obey me. Foreigners come cringing to me;
they are not bound in chains.
Jehovah lives. Blessed be my rock. Exalted be God, the rock of my salvation,
even the God who executes vengeance for me, and subdues peoples under me,
49 ൪൯ അവിടുന്ന് എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; എനിക്കെതിരെ എഴുന്നേല്ക്കുന്നവർക്കു മീതെ അങ്ങ് എന്നെ ഉയർത്തുന്നു; അക്രമിയിൽനിന്ന് അങ്ങ് എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു.
who brings me away from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You protect me from the violent man.
50 ൫൦ അതുകൊണ്ട്, യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ ജാതികളുടെ മദ്ധ്യേ അങ്ങയ്ക്ക് സ്തോത്രം ചെയ്യും, അങ്ങയുടെ നാമത്തെ ഞാൻ കീർത്തിക്കും.
Therefore I will praise you, Jehovah, among the nations, and will sing praises to your name.
51 ൫൧ അവിടുന്ന് തന്റെ രാജാവിന് രക്ഷാഗോപുരം ആകുന്നു; അവിടുത്തെ അഭിഷിക്തനു ദയ കാണിക്കുന്നു; ദാവീദിനും അവന്റെ സന്തതിക്കും എന്നെന്നേക്കും തന്നെ”.
He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his descendants, until forever."
