2 രാജാക്കന്മാർ 2
1 ൧ യഹോവ ഏലീയാവിനെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റിൽ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോകുവാനുള്ള സമയമായി. ഏലീയാവ് എലീശയോടു കൂടെ ഗിൽഗാലിൽനിന്ന് യാത്ര പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
and to be in/on/with to ascend: establish LORD [obj] Elijah in/on/with tempest [the] heaven and to go: went Elijah and Elisha from [the] Gilgal
2 ൨ ഏലീയാവ് എലീശയോട്: “നീ ഇവിടെ താമസിച്ചുകൊള്ളുക; യഹോവ എന്നെ ബേഥേലിലേക്ക് അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. എലീശാ അവനോട്: “യഹോവയാണ, നിന്റെ ജീവനാണ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വിട്ടുപിരിയുകയില്ല” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ അവർ ബേഥേലിലേക്ക് പോയി.

3 ൩ ബേഥേലിലെ പ്രവാചകഗണം എലീശയുടെ അടുക്കൽവന്ന് അവനോട്: “യഹോവ ഇന്ന് നിന്റെ യജമാനനെ നിന്റെ തലയ്ക്കൽനിന്ന് എടുത്തുകൊള്ളും എന്ന് നീ അറിയുന്നുവോ?” എന്ന് ചോദിച്ചു. അതിന് അവൻ: “അതേ, ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ മിണ്ടാതിരിക്കുവിൻ” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.

4 ൪ ഏലീയാവ് എലീശയോട്: “നീ ഇവിടെ താമസിച്ചുകൊൾക; യഹോവ എന്നെ യെരിഹോവിലേക്ക് അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. അതിന് അവൻ: “യഹോവയാണ, നിന്റെ ജീവനാണ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വിട്ടുപിരിയുകയില്ല” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ അവർ യെരിഹോവിലേക്ക് പോയി.

5 ൫ യെരിഹോവിലെ പ്രവാചകഗണം എലീശയുടെ അടുക്കൽവന്ന് അവനോട്: “യഹോവ ഇന്ന് നിന്റെ യജമാനനെ നിന്റെ തലയ്ക്കൽനിന്ന് എടുത്തുകൊള്ളും എന്ന് നീ അറിയുന്നുവോ?” എന്ന് ചോദിച്ചു; അതിന് അവൻ: “അതേ, ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ മിണ്ടാതിരിപ്പിൻ” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.

6 ൬ ഏലീയാവ് അവനോട്: “നീ ഇവിടെ താമസിച്ചുകൊള്ളുക; യഹോവ എന്നെ യോർദ്ദാനിലേക്ക് അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു; അതിന് അവൻ: “യഹോവയാണ, നിന്റെ ജീവനാണ, ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വിട്ടുപിരിയുകയില്ല” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ അവർ ഇരുവരും യോർദാനിലേക്ക് പോയി.

8 ൮ അപ്പോൾ ഏലീയാവ് തന്റെ പുതപ്പ് എടുത്ത് ചുരുട്ടി വെള്ളത്തെ അടിച്ചു; വെള്ളം രണ്ടായി പിരിഞ്ഞു; അവർ ഇരുവരും ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തുകൂടി അക്കരെ കടന്നു.
and to take: take Elijah [obj] clothing his and to fold and to smite [obj] [the] water and to divide here/thus and here/thus and to pass two their in/on/with dry ground
9 ൯ അവർ അക്കരെ കടന്നശേഷം ഏലീയാവ് എലീശയോട്: “ഞാൻ നിന്റെ അടുത്ത് നിന്ന് എടുക്കപ്പെടും മുമ്പെ നിനക്ക് എന്ത് ചെയ്തു തരണം? ചോദിച്ചു കൊൾക” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. അതിന് എലീശാ: “നിന്റെ ആത്മാവിന്റെ ഇരട്ടി പങ്ക് എന്റെ മേൽ വരുമാറാകട്ടെ” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.

10 ൧൦ അതിന് അവൻ: “നീ പ്രയാസമുള്ള കാര്യമാകുന്നു ചോദിച്ചത്; ഞാൻ നിന്നിൽനിന്ന് എടുക്കപ്പെടുമ്പോൾ നീ എന്നെ കാണുന്നുവെങ്കിൽ നിന്റെ ആഗ്രഹം സഫലമാകും; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ അത് സംഭവിക്കുകയില്ല” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.

11 ൧൧ ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ സംസാരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നടക്കുമ്പോൾ അഗ്നിരഥവും അഗ്ന്യശ്വങ്ങളും വന്ന് അവരെ തമ്മിൽ വേർപിരിച്ചു; അങ്ങനെ ഏലീയാവ് ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റിൽ സ്വർഗ്ഗത്തിലേക്ക് കയറി.

12 ൧൨ എലീശാ അത് കണ്ടിട്ട്: “എന്റെ പിതാവേ, എന്റെ പിതാവേ, യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ തേരും തേരാളികളും” എന്ന് നിലവിളിച്ചു; പിന്നെ ഏലീയാവിനെ കണ്ടില്ല; അപ്പോൾ അവൻ തന്റെ വസ്ത്രം രണ്ട് ഖണ്ഡമായി കീറിക്കളഞ്ഞു.

14 ൧൪ ഏലീയാവിന്മേൽനിന്നു വീണ പുതപ്പുകൊണ്ട് അവൻ വെള്ളത്തെ അടിച്ചു: “ഏലീയാവിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ എവിടെ?” എന്ന് ചോദിച്ചു. അവൻ വെള്ളത്തെ അടിച്ചപ്പോൾ യോർദാൻ രണ്ടായി പിരിഞ്ഞു. എലീശാ ഇക്കരെ കടന്നു.

15 ൧൫ യെരിഹോവിൽ അവന് അഭിമുഖമായി നിന്നിരുന്ന പ്രവാചകഗണം അവനെ കണ്ടിട്ട്: “ഏലീയാവിന്റെ ആത്മാവ് എലീശയുടെമേൽ അധിവസിക്കുന്നു” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് അവനെ എതിരേറ്റുചെന്ന് അവന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീണു.

16 ൧൬ അവർ അവനോട്: “ഇതാ, അടിയങ്ങളോടുകൂടെ ശക്തന്മാരായ അമ്പത് പേർ ഉണ്ട്; അവർ ചെന്ന് നിന്റെ യജമാനനെ അന്വേഷിക്കട്ടെ; ഒരുപക്ഷേ യഹോവയുടെ ആത്മാവ് അവനെ എടുത്ത് വല്ല മലയിലോ താഴ്വരയിലോ ഇട്ടിട്ടുണ്ടായിരിക്കും” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. അതിന് അവൻ: “നിങ്ങൾ അയക്കരുത്” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.

17 ൧൭ അവർ അവനെ അത്യന്തം നിർബ്ബന്ധിച്ചപ്പോൾ അവൻ: “എന്നാൽ അയച്ചുകൊള്ളുവിൻ” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. അവർ അമ്പതുപേരെ അയച്ചു; അവർ മൂന്നുദിവസം അന്വേഷിച്ചിട്ടും അവനെ കണ്ടെത്തിയില്ല.

18 ൧൮ അവൻ യെരിഹോവിൽ പാർത്തിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് അവർ അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ മടങ്ങിവന്നു; അവൻ അവരോട്: “പോകരുത് എന്ന് ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോട് പറഞ്ഞില്ലയോ?” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.

19 ൧൯ അനന്തരം ആ പട്ടണക്കാർ എലീശയോട്: “ഈ പട്ടണത്തിന്റെ അവസ്ഥ മനോഹരമെന്ന് യജമാനൻ കാണുന്നുവല്ലോ; എന്നാൽ വെള്ളം മലിനവും ദേശം ഫലശൂന്യവും ആകുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

20 ൨൦ അതിന് അവൻ: “ഒരു പുതിയ പാത്രം കൊണ്ടുവന്ന് അതിൽ ഉപ്പ് ഇടുക” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. അവർ അത് അവന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കൊണ്ടുവന്നു.
and to say to take: bring to/for me jar new and to set: put there salt and to take: bring to(wards) him
21 ൨൧ അവൻ നീരുറവിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ ചെന്ന് അതിൽ ഉപ്പ് വിതറി. “ഞാൻ ഈ വെള്ളം ശുദ്ധീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; ഇനി ഇതിനാൽ മരണവും ഫലശൂന്യതയും ഉണ്ടാവുകയില്ല എന്ന് യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.

and to heal [the] water till [the] day [the] this like/as word Elisha which to speak: speak
23 ൨൩ പിന്നെ അവൻ അവിടെനിന്ന് ബേഥേലിലേക്ക് പോയി; അവൻ വഴിയിലൂടെ നടക്കുമ്പോള്‍ പട്ടണത്തിൽനിന്ന് ചില യൗവനക്കാർ വന്ന് അവനെ പരിഹസിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് അവനോട്: “മൊട്ടത്തലയാ, കയറിപ്പോകൂ, കയറിപ്പോകൂ” എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.

24 ൨൪ അവൻ തിരിഞ്ഞുനോക്കി യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തിൽ അവരെ ശപിച്ചു; അപ്പോൾ കാട്ടിൽനിന്ന് രണ്ടു പെൺകരടികൾ ഇറങ്ങിവന്ന് അവരിൽ നാല്പത്തിരണ്ട് പേരെ കടിച്ചുകീറിക്കളഞ്ഞു.
