സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 23

1 യഹോവ എന്റെ ഇടയനാകുന്നു; എനിക്കു മുട്ടുണ്ടാകയില്ല.

`The salm, ether the song of Dauid. The Lord gouerneth me, and no thing schal faile to me;

2 പച്ചയായ പുല്പുറങ്ങളിൽ അവൻ എന്നെ കിടത്തുന്നു; സ്വസ്ഥതയുള്ള വെള്ളത്തിന്നരികത്തേക്കു എന്നെ നടത്തുന്നു.

in the place of pasture there he hath set me. He nurschide me on the watir of refreischyng;

3 എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ അവൻ തണുപ്പിക്കുന്നു; തിരുനാമംനിമിത്തം എന്നെ നീതിപാതകളിൽ നടത്തുന്നു.

he conuertide my soule. He ledde me forth on the pathis of riytfulnesse; for his name.

4 കൂരിരുൾതാഴ്വരയിൽ കൂടിനടന്നാലും ഞാൻ ഒരു അനൎത്ഥവും ഭയപ്പെടുകയില്ല; നീ എന്നോടുകൂടെ ഇരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ; നിന്റെ വടിയും കോലും എന്നെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

For whi thouy Y schal go in the myddis of schadewe of deeth; Y schal not drede yuels, for thou art with me. Thi yerde and thi staf; tho han coumfortid me.

5 എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ കാൺകെ നീ എനിക്കു വിരുന്നൊരുക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ തലയെ എണ്ണകൊണ്ടു അഭിഷേകംചെയ്യുന്നു; എന്റെ പാനപാത്രവും നിറഞ്ഞു കവിയുന്നു.

Thou hast maad redi a boord in my siyt; ayens hem that troblen me. Thou hast maad fat myn heed with oyle; and my cuppe, `fillinge greetli, is ful cleer.

6 നന്മയും കരുണയും എന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലമൊക്കെയും എന്നെ പിന്തുടരും; ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ ദീൎഘകാലം വസിക്കും.

And thi merci schal sue me; in alle the daies of my lijf. And that Y dwelle in the hows of the Lord; in to the lengthe of daies.
