സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 126

1 യഹോവ സീയോന്റെ പ്രവാസികളെ മടക്കിവരുത്തിയപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങൾ സ്വപ്നം കാണുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.

“A song of the degrees.” When the Lord bringeth back again the captivity of Zion, then shall we be like dreamers.

2 അന്നു ഞങ്ങളുടെ വായിൽ ചിരിയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാവിന്മേൽ ആൎപ്പും നിറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. യഹോവ അവരിൽ വങ്കാൎയ്യങ്ങളെ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

Then shall our mouth be filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then shall they say among the nations, Great things hath the Lord done for these.

3 യഹോവ ഞങ്ങളിൽ വങ്കാൎയ്യങ്ങളെ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങൾ സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു.

Great things would the Lord have done for us, [whereat] we should be joyful.

4 യഹോവേ, തെക്കെനാട്ടിലെ തോടുകളെപ്പോലെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവാസികളെ മടക്കിവരുത്തേണമേ.

Bring back again, O Lord, our captivity, like rivulets in arid land.

5 കണ്ണുനീരോടെ വിതെക്കുന്നവർ ആൎപ്പോടെ കൊയ്യും.

Those that sow in tears shall reap with joyful song.

6 വിത്തു ചുമന്നു കരഞ്ഞും വിതെച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു നടക്കുന്നു; കറ്റ ചുമന്നും ആൎത്തുംകൊണ്ടു വരുന്നു.

He goeth forth indeed and weepeth, that beareth the seed for sowing; but he will surely come with joyful song when he beareth [home] his sheaves.
