സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 105
1 യഹോവെക്കു സ്തോത്രംചെയ്‌വിൻ; തൻ നാമത്തെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിപ്പിൻ; അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ അറിയിപ്പിൻ.
O give thanks unto the Lord; call on his name: make known among the people his deeds.
2 അവന്നു പാടുവിൻ; അവന്നു കീൎത്തനം പാടുവിൻ; അവന്റെ സകല അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ചു സംസാരിപ്പിൻ.
Sing unto, him, sing praises unto him: speak of all his wonderful works.
3 അവന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തിൽ പ്രശംസിപ്പിൻ; യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഹൃദയം സന്തോഷിക്കട്ടെ.
Glorify yourselves in his holy name: let the heart of those rejoice that seek the Lord.
4 യഹോവയെയും അവന്റെ ബലത്തെയും തിരവിൻ; അവന്റെ മുഖത്തെ ഇടവിടാതെ അന്വേഷിപ്പിൻ.
Inquire after the Lord and his strength: seek his presence evermore.
5 അവന്റെ ദാസനായ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതിയും അവൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത യാക്കോബിൻ മക്കളുമായുള്ളോരേ,
Remember his wonderful works which he hath done; his tokens, and the decrees of his mouth;
6 അവൻ ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും അവന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങളും അവന്റെ വായുടെ ന്യായവിധികളും ഓൎത്തുകൊൾവിൻ.
O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob, his elect.
7 അവൻ നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയാകുന്നു; അവന്റെ ന്യായവിധികൾ സൎവ്വഭൂമിയിലും ഉണ്ടു.
He is the Lord our God: over all the earth are his decrees.
8 അവൻ തന്റെ നിയമത്തെ എന്നേക്കും താൻ കല്പിച്ച വചനത്തെ ആയിരം തലമുറയോളവും ഓൎക്കുന്നു.
He remembereth his covenant for ever, the word which he hath commanded, to the thousandth generation.
9 അവൻ അബ്രാഹാമിനോടു ചെയ്ത നിയമവും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടു ചെയ്ത സത്യവും തന്നേ.
Which he covenanted with Abraham; and his oath unto Isaac;
10 അതിനെ അവൻ യാക്കോബിന്നു ഒരു ചട്ടമായും യിസ്രായേലിന്നു ഒരു നിത്യനിയമമായും നിയമിച്ചു.
And which he established unto Jacob as a statute, unto Israel as an everlasting covenant:
11 നിന്റെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ ഓഹരിയായി ഞാൻ നിനക്കു കനാൻദേശം തരും എന്നരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
Saying, “Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, as the portion of your inheritance.”
12 അവർ അന്നു എണ്ണത്തിൽ കുറഞ്ഞവരും ആൾ ചുരുങ്ങിയവരും അവിടെ പരദേശികളും ആയിരുന്നു.
When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it;
13 അവർ ഒരു ജാതിയെ വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു ജാതിയുടെ അടുക്കലേക്കും ഒരു രാജ്യത്തെ വിട്ടു മറ്റൊരു ജനത്തിന്റെ അടുക്കലേക്കും പോകും.
And when they wandered from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people:
14 അവരെ പീഡിപ്പിപ്പാൻ അവൻ ആരെയും സമ്മതിച്ചില്ല; അവരുടെനിമിത്തം അവൻ രാജാക്കന്മാരെ ശാസിച്ചു:
He suffered no man to oppress them; yea, he reproved kings for their sake;
15 എന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന്മാരെ തൊടരുതു, എന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാൎക്കു ഒരു ദോഷവും ചെയ്യരുതു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
[Saying, ] “Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm,”—
16 അവൻ ദേശത്തു ഒരു ക്ഷാമം വരുത്തി; അപ്പമെന്ന കോലിനെ അശേഷം ഒടിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
And he called for a famine over the land; every staff of bread he broke.
17 അവൎക്കു മുമ്പായി അവൻ ഒരാളെ അയച്ചു; യോസേഫിനെ അവർ ദാസനായി വിറ്റുവല്ലോ.
He sent a man before them; for a servant was Joseph sold;
18 യഹോവയുടെ വചനം നിവൃത്തിയാകയും അവന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടിനാൽ അവന്നു ശോധന വരികയും ചെയ്യുവോളം
They forced into fetters his feet; in iron was his body put:
19 അവർ അവന്റെ കാലുകളെ വിലങ്ങുകൊണ്ടു ബന്ധിക്കയും അവൻ ഇരിമ്പു ചങ്ങലയിൽ കുടുങ്ങുകയും ചെയ്തു.
Until the time that his word came to pass, [when] the saying of the Lord had purified him.
20 രാജാവു ആളയച്ചു അവനെ വിടുവിച്ചു; ജാതികളുടെ അധിപതി അവനെ സ്വതന്ത്രനാക്കി.
The king sent and unfettered him; the ruler of people, and let him go free.
21 അവന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരെ ഇഷ്ടപ്രകാരം ബന്ധിച്ചുകൊൾവാനും അവന്റെ മന്ത്രിമാൎക്കു ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിച്ചുകൊടുപ്പാനും
He appointed him lord of his house, and ruler of all his possession:
22 തന്റെ ഭവനത്തിന്നു അവനെ കൎത്താവായും തന്റെ സൎവ്വസമ്പത്തിന്നും അധിപതിയായും നിയമിച്ചു.
That he might bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his ancients wisdom.
23 അപ്പോൾ യിസ്രായേൽ മിസ്രയീമിലേക്കു ചെന്നു; യാക്കോബ് ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്തു വന്നു പാൎത്തു.
Then came Israel into Egypt, and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 ദൈവം തന്റെ ജനത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വൎദ്ധിപ്പിക്കയും അവരുടെ വൈരികളെക്കാൾ അവരെ ബലവാന്മാരാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.
And he increased his people greatly, and made them stronger than their adversaries.
25 തന്റെ ജനത്തെ പകെപ്പാനും തന്റെ ദാസന്മാരോടു ഉപായം പ്രയോഗിപ്പാനും അവൻ അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെ മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു.
He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilely with his servants.
26 അവൻ തന്റെ ദാസനായ മോശെയെയും താൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത അഹരോനെയും അയച്ചു.
He sent Moses his servant, Aaron also whom he had made choice of.
27 ഇവർ അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ അവന്റെ അടയാളങ്ങളും ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്തു അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും കാണിച്ചു.
They displayed among them his effective signs, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 അവൻ ഇരുൾ അയച്ചു ദേശത്തെ ഇരുട്ടാക്കി; അവർ അവന്റെ വചനത്തോടു മറുത്തതുമില്ല;
He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29 അവൻ അവരുടെ വെള്ളത്തെ രക്തമാക്കി, അവരുടെ മത്സ്യങ്ങളെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.
He changed their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30 അവരുടെ ദേശത്തു തവള വ്യാപിച്ചു രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ പള്ളിയറകളിൽപോലും നിറഞ്ഞു.
Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the very chambers of their kings.
31 അവൻ കല്പിച്ചപ്പോൾ നായീച്ചയും അവരുടെ ദേശത്തെല്ലാം പേനും വന്നു;
He spoke, and there came various wild beasts, lice also within all their boundary.
32 അവൻ അവൎക്കു മഴെക്കു പകരം കൽമഴയും അവരുടെ ദേശത്തിൽ അഗ്നിജ്വാലയും അയച്ചു.
He gave them as their rain hail, and flames of fire in their land.
33 അവൻ അവരുടെ മുന്തിരിവള്ളികളും അത്തിവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും തകൎത്തു; അവരുടെ ദേശത്തിലെ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും നശിപ്പിച്ചു.
And he smote their vines and their fig-trees, and broke the trees within their boundary.
34 അവൻ കല്പിച്ചപ്പോൾ വെട്ടുക്കിളിയും തുള്ളനും അനവധിയായി വന്നു,
He spoke, and the locusts came, and crickets, and that without number;
35 അവരുടെ ദേശത്തിലെ സസ്യം ഒക്കെയും അവരുടെ വയലിലെ വിളയും തിന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.
And they ate up all the herbs in their land, and ate up the fruit of their ground.
36 അവൻ അവരുടെ ദേശത്തിലെ എല്ലാകടിഞ്ഞൂലിനെയും അവരുടെ സൎവ്വവീൎയ്യത്തിൻ ആദ്യഫലത്തെയും സംഹരിച്ചു.
And he smote all the first-born in their land, the first of all their strength.
37 അവൻ അവരെ വെള്ളിയോടും പൊന്നിനോടും കൂടെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു; അവരുടെ ഗോത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒരു ബലഹീനനും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല.
And he brought them forth with silver and gold: and there was not one that stumbled among his tribes.
38 അവർ പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ മിസ്രയീം സന്തോഷിച്ചു; അവരെയുള്ള പേടി അവരുടെമേൽ വീണിരുന്നു.
Egypt rejoiced when they departed; for the dread of them was fallen upon them.
39 അവൻ തണലിന്നായി ഒരു മേഘം വിരിച്ചു; രാത്രിയിൽ വെളിച്ചത്തിന്നായി തീ നിറുത്തി.
He spread out a cloud for a covering, and fire to give light in the night.
40 അവർ ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ അവൻ കാടകളെ കൊടുത്തു; സ്വൎഗ്ഗീയഭോജനംകൊണ്ടും അവൎക്കു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തി.
The people asked, and he brought quails, and with heavenly bread he satisfied them.
41 അവൻ പാറയെ പിളൎന്നു, വെള്ളം ചാടി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; അതു ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തുകൂടി നദിയായി ഒഴുകി.
He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out: they ran in the dry places like a river.
42 അവൻ തന്റെ വിശുദ്ധവചനത്തെയും തന്റെ ദാസനായ അബ്രാഹാമിനെയും ഓൎത്തു.
For he remembered his holy word given to Abraham his servant.
43 അവൻ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ സന്തോഷത്തോടും താൻ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തവരെ ഘോഷത്തോടും കൂടെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു.
And he brought forth his people with gladness, with joyful song his elect.
44 അവർ തന്റെ ചട്ടങ്ങളെ പ്രമാണിക്കയും തന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണങ്ങളെ ആചരിക്കയും ചെയ്യേണ്ടതിന്നു
And he gave them the lands of nations; and the labor of people they obtained as an inheritance:
45 അവൻ ജാതികളുടെ ദേശങ്ങളെ അവൎക്കു കൊടുത്തു; അവർ വംശങ്ങളുടെ അദ്ധ്വാനഫലം കൈവശമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിൻ.
So that they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Hallelujah.
