മത്തായി 11
1 യേശു തന്റെ പന്ത്രണ്ടു ശിഷ്യന്മാരോടു കല്പിച്ചു തീൎന്നശേഷം അതതു പട്ടണങ്ങളിൽ ഉപദേശിപ്പാനും പ്രസംഗിപ്പാനും അവിടെ നിന്നു പുറപ്പെട്ടുപോയി.
And it came to pass when finished Jesus commanding the twelve disciples of Him, He departed from there to teach and to preach in the cities of them.
2 യോഹന്നാൻ കാരാഗൃഹത്തിൽവെച്ചു ക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെക്കുറിച്ചു കേട്ടിട്ടു തന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരെ അയച്ചു:
And John having heard in the prison the works of the Christ, having sent (on account of *N(K)O*) of the disciples of him
3 വരുവാനുള്ളവൻ നീയോ, ഞങ്ങൾ മറ്റൊരുവനെ കാത്തിരിക്കയോ എന്നു അവർ മുഖാന്തരം അവനോടു ചോദിച്ചു.
said to Him; You yourself are the coming [One], or another are we to look for?
4 യേശു അവരോടു: കുരുടർ കാണുന്നു; മുടന്തർ നടക്കുന്നു; കുഷ്ഠരോഗികൾ ശുദ്ധരായിത്തീരുന്നു; ചെകിടർ കേൾക്കുന്നു; മരിച്ചവർ ഉയിൎക്കുന്നു; ദരിദ്രരോടു സുവിശേഷം അറിയിക്കുന്നു
And answering Jesus said to them; Having gone do relate to John what you hear and see:
5 എന്നിങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങൾ കേൾക്കയും കാണുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതു യോഹന്നാനെ ചെന്നു അറിയിപ്പിൻ.
Blind receive sight, and lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and deaf hear, (and *no*) dead are raised, and poor are evangelised;
6 എന്നാൽ എങ്കൽ ഇടറിപ്പോകാത്തവൻ എല്ലാം ഭാഗ്യവാൻ എന്നുത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
And blessed is he who (only *NK(o)*) unless shall fall away in Me myself.
7 അവർ പോയ ശേഷം യേശു യോഹന്നാനെക്കുറിച്ചു പുരുഷാരത്തോടു പറഞ്ഞുതുടങ്ങിയതു: നിങ്ങൾ എന്തു കാണ്മാൻ മരുഭൂമിയിലേക്കു പോയി? കാറ്റിനാൽ ഉലയുന്ന ഓടയോ?
As these now were going away began Jesus to speak to the crowds concerning John: What went you out into the wilderness to see? A reed by [the] wind shaken?
8 അല്ല, എന്തുകാണ്മാൻ പോയി? മാൎദ്ദവവസ്ത്രം ധരിച്ച മനുഷ്യനെയോ? മാൎദ്ദവ വസ്ത്രം ധരിക്കുന്നവർ രാജഗൃഹങ്ങളിലല്ലോ.
But what did you go out to see? A man in delicate (garments *k*) dressed? Behold those delicate [clothing] wearing in the houses (of kings *NK(o)*) are;
9 അല്ല, എന്തിന്നു പോയി? ഒരു പ്രവാചകനെ കാണ്മാനോ? അതെ, പ്രവാചകനിലും മികെച്ചവനെ തന്നേ എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.
But what did you go out to see? a prophet? Yes I say to you; and [one] more excellent than a prophet.
10 “ഞാൻ എന്റെ ദൂതനെ നിനക്കു മുമ്പായി അയക്കുന്നു; അവൻ നിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ നിനക്കു വഴി ഒരുക്കും” എന്നു എഴുതപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നവൻ അവൻ തന്നേ.
For this (for *ko*) is [he] concerning whom it has been written: Behold I myself send the messenger of Mine before [the] face of You who will prepare the way of You before You.’
11 സത്രീകളിൽ നിന്നു ജനിച്ചവരിൽ യോഹന്നാൻ സ്നാപകനെക്കാൾ വലിയവൻ ആരും എഴുന്നേറ്റിട്ടില്ല; സ്വൎഗ്ഗരാജ്യത്തിൽ ഏറ്റവും ചെറിയവനോ അവനിലും വലിയവൻ എന്നു ഞാൻ സത്യമായിട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.
Amen I say to you; not has been raised among [those] born of women one greater than John the Baptist; Yet the least in the kingdom of the heavens greater than he is.
12 യോഹന്നാൻ സ്നാപകന്റെ നാളുകൾമുതൽ ഇന്നേവരെ സ്വൎഗ്ഗരാജ്യത്തെ ബലാൽക്കാരം ചെയ്യുന്നു; ബലാൽക്കാരികൾ അതിനെ പിടിച്ചടക്കുന്നു.
From then the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of the heavens is taken by violence, and [the] violent claim it.
13 സകല പ്രവാചകന്മാരും ന്യായപ്രമാണവും യോഹന്നാൻ വരെ പ്രവചിച്ചു.
All for the prophets and the law until John prophesied.
14 നിങ്ങൾക്കു പരിഗ്രഹിപ്പാൻ മനസ്സുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ വരുവാനുള്ള ഏലീയാവു അവൻ തന്നേ.
And if you are willing to receive [it], he himself is Elijah who is being about to come.
15 കേൾപ്പാൻ ചെവിയുള്ളവർ കേൾക്കട്ടെ.
The [one] having ears he should hear.
16 എന്നാൽ ഈ തലമുറയെ ഏതിനോടു ഉപമിക്കേണ്ടു? ചന്തസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ ഇരുന്നു ചങ്ങാതികളോടു:
To what however will I compare generation this? Like it is (children *N(k)O*) sitting in (the *no*) markets (who *N(K)O*) (calling out *N(k)O*) (to others *N(K)O*) (of them *k*)
17 ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങൾക്കായി കുഴലൂതി, നിങ്ങൾ നൃത്തംചെയ്തില്ല; ഞങ്ങൾ വിലാപം പാടി, നിങ്ങൾ മാറത്തടിച്ചില്ല; എന്നു വിളിച്ചുപറയുന്ന കുട്ടികളോടു അതു തുല്യം.
(and *k*) saying: We piped for you and not you did dance, we sang a dirge (to you *k*) and not you did wail.
18 യോഹന്നാൻ തിന്നുകയും കുടിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യാത്തവനായി വന്നു; അവന്നു ഭൂതമുണ്ടെന്നു അവർ പറയുന്നു.
Came for John neither eating nor drinking, and they say; A demon he has!
19 മനുഷ്യപുത്രൻ തിന്നും കുടിച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു വന്നു; തിന്നിയും കുടിയനുമായ മനുഷ്യൻ; ചുങ്കക്കാരുടെയും പാപികളുടെയും സ്നേഹിതൻ എന്നു അവർ പറയുന്നു; ജ്ഞാനമോ തന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളാൽ നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
Came the Son of Man eating and drinking, and they say; Behold a man a glutton and a drunkard, of tax collectors a friend and of sinners! But is justified wisdom by the (deeds *N(K)O*) of her.
20 പിന്നെ അവൻ തന്റെ വീൎയ്യപ്രവൃത്തികൾ മിക്കതും നടന്ന പട്ടണങ്ങൾ മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടായ്കയാൽ അവയെ ശാസിച്ചുതുടങ്ങി:
Then He began to denounce the cities in which had taken place the most miracles of Him because not they repented;
21 കോരസീനേ, നിനക്കു ഹാ കഷ്ടം; ബേത്ത്സയിദേ, നിനക്കു ഹാ കഷ്ടം; നിങ്ങളിൽ നടന്ന വീൎയ്യപ്രവൃത്തികൾ സോരിലും സീദോനിലും നടന്നിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അവർ പണ്ടുതന്നേ രട്ടിലും വെണ്ണീറിലും മാനസാന്തരപ്പെടുമായിരുന്നു.
Woe to you Chorazin! Woe to you Bethsaida! For if in Tyre and Sidon had taken place the miracles which having come to pass in you, long ago then would in sackcloth and ashes they have repented.
22 എന്നാൽ ന്യായവിധിദിവസത്തിൽ നിങ്ങളെക്കാൾ സോരിന്നും സീദോന്നും സഹിക്കാവതാകും എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.
But I say to you; for Tyre and Sidon more tolerable will it be in [the] day of judgment than for you.
23 നീയോ കഫൎന്നഹൂമേ, സ്വൎഗ്ഗത്തോളം ഉയൎന്നിരിക്കുമോ? നീ പാതാളംവരെ താണുപോകും; നിന്നിൽ നടന്ന വീൎയ്യപ്രവൃത്തികൾ സൊദോമിൽ നടന്നിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അതു ഇന്നുവരെ നില്ക്കുമായിരുന്നു. (Hadēs g86)
And you yourself Capernaum, (surely not *N(K)O*) to (*k*) heaven (will be exalted? *N(k)O*) to Hades (will go down! *N(k)O*) For if in Sodom (happened *N(k)O*) the miracles that were happening in you, (it remained *N(k)O*) then would until the day. (Hadēs g86)
24 എന്നാൽ ന്യായവിധിദിവസത്തിൽ നിന്നെക്കാൾ സൊദോമ്യരുടെ നാട്ടിന്നു സഹിക്കാവതാകും എന്നു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു പറയുന്നു.
But I say to you that for [the] land of Sodom more tolerable will it be in day of judgment than for you.
25 ആ സമയത്തു തന്നേ യേശു പറഞ്ഞതു: പിതാവേ, സ്വൎഗ്ഗത്തിന്നും ഭൂമിക്കും കൎത്താവായുള്ളോവേ, നീ ഇതു ജ്ഞാനികൾക്കും വിവേകികൾക്കും മറെച്ചു ശിശുക്കൾക്കു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയതുകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ വാഴ്ത്തൂന്നു.
At that [very] time answering Jesus said; I fully consent to You, Father Lord of the heaven and the earth, for (You did hide *N(k)O*) these things from wise and learned and did reveal them to little children.
26 അതേ, പിതാവേ, ഇങ്ങനെയല്ലോ നിനക്കു പ്രസാദം തോന്നിയതു.
Yes O Father, for thus well-pleasing it was before You.
27 എന്റെ പിതാവു സകലവും എങ്കൽ ഭരമേല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; പിതാവല്ലാതെ ആരും പുത്രനെ അറിയുന്നില്ല; പുത്രനും പുത്രൻ വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിക്കൊടുപ്പാൻ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നവനും അല്ലാതെ ആരും പിതാവിനെ അറിയുന്നതുമില്ല.
All things to Me was delivered by the Father of Mine, And no [one] knows the Son only except the Father, nor the Father anyone does know only except the Son and to whom if shall choose the Son to reveal [Him].
28 അദ്ധ്വാനിക്കുന്നവരും ഭാരം ചുമക്കുന്നവരും ആയുള്ളോരേ, എല്ലാവരും എന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വരുവിൻ; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കും.
Come to Me all you who [are] toiling and burdened, and I myself and I myself will give rest to you.
29 ഞാൻ സൌമ്യതയും താഴ്മയും ഉള്ളവൻ ആകയാൽ എന്റെ നുകം ഏറ്റുകൊണ്ടു എന്നോടു പഠിപ്പിൻ; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ ആത്മാക്കൾക്കു ആശ്വാസം കണ്ടത്തും.
do take the yoke of Mine upon you and do learn from Me for gentle I am and humble in heart, and you will find rest for the souls of you.
30 എന്റെ നുകം മൃദുവും എന്റെ ചുമടു ലഘുവും ആകുന്നു.
The for yoke of Mine [is] easy and the burden of Mine light is.
