ലേവ്യപുസ്തകം 22
1 യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:
And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2 യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ എനിക്കു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന വിശുദ്ധസാധനങ്ങളെ സംബന്ധിച്ചു അഹരോനും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും സൂക്ഷിച്ചുനിൽക്കേണമെന്നും എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതെന്നും അവരോടു പറയേണം. ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
Speak to Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, and that they profane not my holy name [in those things] which they hallow to me: I [am] the LORD.
3 നീ അവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: നിങ്ങളുടെ തലമുറകളിൽ നിങ്ങളുടെ സകലസന്തതിയിലും ആരെങ്കിലും അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ യഹോവെക്കു ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന വിശുദ്ധസാധനങ്ങളോടു അടുത്താൽ അവനെ എന്റെ മുമ്പിൽനിന്നു ഛേദിച്ചുകളയേണം; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
Say to them, Whoever [he may be] of all your seed among your generations, that approacheth the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow to the LORD, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from my presence: I [am] the LORD.
4 അഹരോന്റെ സന്തതിയിൽ ആരെങ്കിലും കുഷ്ഠരോഗിയോ ശുക്ലസ്രവക്കാരനോ ആയാൽ അവൻ ശുദ്ധനായിത്തീരുംവരെ വിശുദ്ധസാധനങ്ങൾ ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു; ശവത്താൽ അശുദ്ധമായ യാതൊന്നെങ്കിലും തൊടുന്നവനും ബീജസ്ഖലനം ഉണ്ടായവനും
Whatever man of the seed of Aaron [is] a leper, or hath a running issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he is clean. And whoever toucheth any thing [that is] unclean [by] the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;
5 അശുദ്ധിവരുത്തുന്ന യാതൊരു ഇഴജാതിയെ എങ്കിലും വല്ല അശുദ്ധിയുമുണ്ടായിട്ടു അശുദ്ധിവരുത്തുന്ന മനുഷ്യനെ എങ്കിലും തൊടുന്നവനും
Or whoever toucheth any creeping animal, by which he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatever uncleanness he hath:
6 ഇങ്ങനെ തൊട്ടുതീണ്ടിയവൻ സന്ധ്യവരെ അശുദ്ധനായിരിക്കേണം; അവൻ ദേഹം വെള്ളത്തിൽ കഴുകിയല്ലാതെ വിശുദ്ധസാധനങ്ങൾ ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു.
The soul which hath touched any such shall be unclean until evening, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he shall wash his flesh with water.
7 സൂൎയ്യൻ അസ്തമിച്ചശേഷം അവൻ ശുദ്ധനാകും; പിന്നെ അവന്നു വിശുദ്ധസാധനങ്ങൾ ഭക്ഷിക്കാം; അതു അവന്റെ ആഹാരമല്ലോ.
And when the sun is set, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things, because it [is] his food.
8 താനേ ചത്തതിനെയും പറിച്ചുകീറിപ്പോയതിനെയും തിന്നിട്ടു തന്നെത്താൽ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
That which dieth of itself, or is torn [by beasts], he shall not eat to defile himself with it: I [am] the LORD.
9 ആകയാൽ അവർ എന്റെ പ്രമാണങ്ങളെ നിസ്സാരമാക്കി തങ്ങളുടെ മേൽ പാപം വരുത്തുകയും അതിനാൽ മരിക്കയും ചെയ്യാതിരിപ്പാൻ അവ പ്രമാണിക്കേണം; ഞാൻ അവരെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
They shall therefore keep my ordinance, lest they bear sin for it, and die therefore, if they profane it: I the LORD do sanctify them.
10 യാതൊരു അന്യനും വിശുദ്ധസാധനം ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു; പുരോഹിതന്റെ അടുക്കൽ വന്നു പാൎക്കുന്നവനും കൂലിക്കാരനും വിശുദ്ധസാധനം ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു.
There shall no stranger eat [of] the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest, or a hired servant, shall not eat [of] the holy thing.
11 എന്നാൽ പുരോഹിതൻ ഒരുത്തനെ വിലെക്കു വാങ്ങിയാൽ അവന്നും വീട്ടിൽ പിറന്നുണ്ടായവന്നും ഭക്ഷിക്കാം; ഇവൎക്കു അവന്റെ ആഹാരം ഭക്ഷിക്കാം.
But if the priest shall buy [any] soul with his money, he shall eat of it, and he that is born in his house: they shall eat of his meat.
12 പുരോഹിതന്റെ മകൾ അന്യകുടുംബക്കാരന്നു ഭാൎയ്യയായാൽ അവൾ വിശുദ്ധസാധനങ്ങളായ വഴിപാടു ഒന്നും ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു.
If the priest's daughter also shall be [married] to a stranger, she may not eat of an offering of the holy things.
13 പുരോഹിതന്റെ മകൾ വിധവയോ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കപ്പെട്ടവളോ ആയി സന്തതിയില്ലാതെ അപ്പന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്കു തന്റെ ബാല്യത്തിൽ എന്നപോലെ മടങ്ങിവന്നാൽ അവൾക്കു അപ്പന്റെ ആഹാരം ഭക്ഷിക്കാം; എന്നാൽ യാതൊരു അന്യനും അതു ഭക്ഷിക്കരുതു.
But if the priest's daughter shall be a widow, or divorced, and shall have no child, and have returned to her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's meat; but there shall no stranger eat of it.
14 ഒരുത്തൻ അബദ്ധവശാൽ വിശുദ്ധസാധനം ഭക്ഷിച്ചുപോയാൽ അവൻ വിശുദ്ധസാധനം അഞ്ചിൽ ഒരംശവും കൂട്ടി പുരോഹിതന്നു കൊടുക്കേണം.
And if a man shall eat [of] the holy thing unknowingly, then he shall put to it the fifth [part], and shall give [it] to the priest, with the holy thing.
15 യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ യഹോവെക്കു അൎപ്പിക്കുന്ന വിശുദ്ധസാധനങ്ങൾ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു.
And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel which they offer to the LORD;
16 അവരുടെ വിശുദ്ധസാധനങ്ങൾ ഭക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിൽ അവരുടെ മേൽ അകൃത്യത്തിന്റെ കുറ്റം വരുത്തരുതു; ഞാൻ അവരെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
Or suffer them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
17 യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു:
And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
18 നീ അഹരോനോടും പുത്രന്മാരോടും എല്ലായിസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടും പറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിലോ യിസ്രായേലിൽ ഉള്ള പരദേശികളിലോ ആരെങ്കിലും യഹോവെക്കു ഹോമയാഗമായിട്ടു അൎപ്പിക്കുന്ന വല്ല നേൎച്ചകളാകട്ടെ സ്വമേധാദാനങ്ങളാകട്ടെ ഇവയിൽ ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒരു വഴിപാടു കഴിക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ
Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them, Whoever [he may be] of the house of Israel, or of the strangers in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his free-will-offerings, which they will offer to the LORD for a burnt-offering:
19 നിങ്ങൾക്കു പ്രസാദം ലഭിപ്പാന്തക്കവണ്ണം അതു മാടുകളിൽ നിന്നോ ചെമ്മരിയാടുകളിൽനിന്നോ കോലാടുകളിൽനിന്നോ ഊനമില്ലാത്ത ഒരു ആണായിരിക്കേണം.
[Ye shall offer] at your own will a male without blemish of the beeves, of the sheep, or of the goats.
20 ഊനമുള്ള യാതൊന്നിനെയും നിങ്ങൾ അൎപ്പിക്കരുതു; അതിനാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു പ്രസാദം ലഭിക്കയില്ല.
[But] whatever hath a blemish, [that] shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.
21 ഒരുത്തൻ നേൎച്ചനിവൎത്തിക്കായിട്ടോ സ്വമേധാദാനമായിട്ടോ യഹോവെക്കു മാടുകളിൽനിന്നാകട്ടെ ആടുകളിൽനിന്നാകട്ടെ ഒന്നിനെ സമാധാനയാഗമായിട്ടു അൎപ്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ അതു പ്രസാദമാകുവാന്തക്കവണ്ണം ഊനമില്ലത്തതായിരിക്കേണം; അതിന്നു ഒരു കുറവും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കരുതു.
And whoever offereth a sacrifice of peace-offerings to the LORD to accomplish [his] vow, or a free-will-offering in beeves, or sheep, it shall be perfect to be accepted: there shall be in it no blemish.
22 കുരുടു, ചതവു, മുറിവു, മുഴ, ചൊറി, പുഴുക്കടി എന്നിവയുള്ള യാതൊന്നിനെയും യഹോവെക്കു അൎപ്പിക്കരുതു; ഇവയിൽ ഒന്നിനെയും യഹോവെക്കു യാഗപീഠത്തിന്മേൽ ദഹനയാഗമായി അൎപ്പിക്കരുതു;
Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these to the LORD, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar to the LORD.
23 അവയവങ്ങളിൽ ഏതെങ്കിലും നീളം കൂടിയോ കുറഞ്ഞോ ഇരിക്കുന്ന കാളയെയും കുഞ്ഞാടിനെയും സ്വമേധാദാനമായിട്ടു അൎപ്പിക്കാം; എന്നാൽ നേൎച്ചയായിട്ടു അതു പ്രസാദമാകയില്ല.
Either a bullock, or a lamb that hath any thing superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer [for] a free-will-offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.
24 വരിചതെച്ചതോ എടുത്തുകളഞ്ഞതോ ഉടെച്ചതോ മുറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞതോ ആയുള്ളതിനെ നിങ്ങൾ യഹോവെക്കു അൎപ്പിക്കരുതു; ഇങ്ങനെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ദേശത്തു ചെയ്യരുതു.
Ye shall not offer to the LORD that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make [any offering thereof] in your land.
25 അന്യന്റെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള ഒന്നിനെയും വാങ്ങി നിങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ഭോജനമായിട്ടു അൎപ്പിക്കരുതു; അവെക്കു കേടും കുറവും ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു അവയാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു പ്രസാദം ലഭിക്കയില്ല.
Neither from a stranger's hand shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption [is] in them, [and] blemishes [are] in them: they shall not be accepted for you.
26 യഹോവ പിന്നെയും മോശെയോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:
And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
27 ഒരു കാളയോ ചെമ്മരിയാടോ കോലാടോ പിറന്നാൽ ഏഴു ദിവസം തള്ളയുടെ അടുക്കൽ ഇരിക്കേണം; എട്ടാം ദിവസംമുതൽ അതു യഹോവെക്കു ദഹനയാഗമായി പ്രസാദമാകും.
When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for an offering made by fire to the LORD.
28 പശുവിനെയോ പെണ്ണാടിനെയോ അതിനെയും കുട്ടിയെയും ഒരു ദിവസത്തിൽ അറുക്കരുതു.
And [whether it is] cow, or ewe, ye shall not kill it and her young both in one day.
29 യഹോവെക്കു സ്തോത്രയാഗം അൎപ്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ അതു പ്രസാദമാകത്തക്കവണ്ണം അൎപ്പിക്കേണം.
And when ye will offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the LORD, offer it at your own will.
30 അന്നു തന്നേ അതിനെ തിന്നേണം; രാവിലെവരെ അതിൽ ഒട്ടും ശേഷിപ്പിക്കരുതു; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
On the same day it shall be eaten up, ye shall leave none of it until the morrow: I [am] the LORD.
31 ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ കല്പനകൾ പ്രമാണിച്ചു ആചരിക്കേണം; ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I [am] the LORD.
32 എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തെ നിങ്ങൾ അശുദ്ധമാക്കരുതു; യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഞാൻ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെടേണം; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I [am] the LORD who hallow you,
33 നിങ്ങൾക്കു ദൈവമായിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു മിസ്രയീംദേശത്തുനിന്നു നിങ്ങളെ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു.
That brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I [am] the LORD.
