ഇയ്യോബ് 36

1 എലീഹൂ പിന്നെയും പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

ELIHU also proceeded, and said,

2 അല്പം ക്ഷമിക്ക, ഞാൻ അറിയിച്ചുതരാം; ദൈവത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി ഇനിയും ചില വാക്കു പറവാനുണ്ടു.

Suffer me a little, and I will shew thee that I have yet to speak on God’s behalf.

3 ഞാൻ ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു അറിവു കൊണ്ടുവരും; എന്റെ സ്രഷ്ടാവിന്നു നീതിയെ ആരോപിക്കും.

I will fetch my knowledge from afar, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.

4 എന്റെ വാക്കു ഭോഷ്കല്ല നിശ്ചയം; അറിവു തികഞ്ഞവൻ നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ നില്ക്കുന്നു.

For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with thee.

5 ദൈവം ബലവാനെങ്കിലും ആരെയും നിരസിക്കുന്നില്ല; അവൻ വിവേകശക്തിയിലും ബലവാൻ തന്നേ.

Behold, God is mighty, and despiseth not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.

6 അവൻ ദുഷ്ടന്റെ ജീവനെ രക്ഷിക്കുന്നില്ല; ദുഃഖിതന്മാൎക്കോ അവൻ ന്യായം നടത്തിക്കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

He preserveth not the life of the wicked: but giveth right to the poor.

7 അവൻ നീതിമാന്മാരിൽനിന്നു തന്റെ കടാക്ഷം മാറ്റുന്നില്ല; രാജാക്കന്മാരോടുകൂടെ അവരെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരുത്തുന്നു; അവർ എന്നേക്കും ഉയൎന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.

8 അവർ ചങ്ങലകളാൽ ബന്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടു കഷ്ടതയുടെ പാശങ്ങളാൽ പിടിക്കപ്പെട്ടാൽ

And if they be bound in fetters, and be holden in cords of affliction;

9 അവൻ അവൎക്കു അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയും അഹങ്കരിച്ചുപോയ ലംഘനങ്ങളും കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.

Then he sheweth them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.

10 അവൻ അവരുടെ ചെവി പ്രബോധനത്തിന്നു തുറക്കുന്നു; അവർ നീതികേടു വിട്ടുതിരിവാൻ കല്പിക്കുന്നു.

He openeth also their ear to discipline, and commandeth that they return from iniquity.

11 അവർ കേട്ടനുസരിച്ചു അവനെ സേവിച്ചാൽ തങ്ങളുടെ നാളുകളെ ഭാഗ്യത്തിലും ആണ്ടുകളെ ആനന്ദത്തിലും കഴിച്ചുകൂട്ടും.

If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

12 കേൾക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിലോ അവർ വാളാൽ നശിക്കും; ബുദ്ധിമോശത്താൽ മരിച്ചുപോകും.

But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.

13 ദുഷ്ടമാനസന്മാർ കോപം സംഗ്രഹിച്ചുവെക്കുന്നു; അവൻ അവരെ ബന്ധിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവർ രക്ഷെക്കായി വിളിക്കുന്നില്ല.

But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he bindeth them.

14 അവർ യൌവനത്തിൽ തന്നേ മരിച്ചു പോകുന്നു; അവരുടെ ജീവൻ ദുൎന്നടപ്പുകാരുടേതു പോലെ നശിക്കുന്നു.

They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.

15 അവൻ അരിഷ്ടനെ അവന്റെ അരിഷ്ടതയാൽ വിടുവിക്കുന്നു; പീഡയിൽ തന്നേ അവരുടെ ചെവി തുറക്കുന്നു.

He delivereth the poor in his affliction, and openeth their ears in oppression.

16 നിന്നെയും അവൻ കഷ്ടതയുടെ വായിൽ നിന്നു ഇടുക്കമില്ലാത്ത വിശാലതയിലേക്കു നടത്തുമായിരുന്നു. നിന്റെ മേശമേൽ സ്വാദുഭോജനം വെക്കുമായിരുന്നു.

Even so would he have removed thee out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no straitness; and that which should be set on thy table should be full of fatness.

17 നീയോ ദുഷ്ടവിധികൊണ്ടു നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; വിധിയും നീതിയും നിന്നെ പിടിക്കും.

But thou hast fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on thee.

18 കോപം നിന്നെ പരിഹാസത്തിന്നായി വശീകരിക്കരുതു; മറുവിലയുടെ വലിപ്പം ഓൎത്തു നീ തെറ്റിപ്പോകയുമരുതു.

Because there is wrath, beware lest he take thee away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver thee.

19 കഷ്ടത്തിൽ അകപ്പെടാതിരിപ്പാൻ നിന്റെ നിലവിളിയും ശക്തിയേറിയ പരിശ്രമങ്ങൾ ഒക്കെയും മതിയാകുമോ?

Will he esteem thy riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.

20 ജാതികൾ തങ്ങളുടെ സ്ഥലത്തുവെച്ചു മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകുന്ന രാത്രിയെ നീ കാംക്ഷിക്കരുതു.

Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.

21 സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾക; നീതികേടിലേക്കു തിരിയരുതു; അതല്ലോ നീ അരിഷ്ടതയെക്കാൾ ഇച്ഛിക്കുന്നതു.

Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.

22 ദൈവം തന്റെ ശക്തിയാൽ ഉന്നതമായി പ്രവൎത്തിക്കുന്നു; അവന്നു തുല്യനായ ഉപദേശകൻ ആരുള്ളു?

Behold, God exalteth by his power: who teacheth like him?

23 അവനോടു അവന്റെ വഴിയെ കല്പിച്ചതാർ? നീ നീതികേടു ചെയ്തു എന്നു അവനോടു ആൎക്കു പറയാം?

Who hath enjoined him his way? or who can say, Thou hast wrought iniquity?

24 അവന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തിയെ മഹിമപ്പെടുത്തുവാൻ നീ ഓൎത്തുകൊൾക; അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചല്ലോ മനുഷ്യർ പാടിയിരിക്കുന്നതു.

Remember that thou magnify his work, which men behold.

25 മനുഷ്യരൊക്കെയും അതു കണ്ടു രസിക്കുന്നു; ദൂരത്തുനിന്നു മൎത്യൻ അതിനെ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുനോക്കുന്നു.

Every man may see it; man may behold it afar off.

26 നമുക്കു അറിഞ്ഞുകൂടാതവണ്ണം ദൈവം അത്യുന്നതൻ; അവന്റെ ആണ്ടുകളുടെ സംഖ്യ ആരാഞ്ഞുകൂടാത്തതു.

Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.

27 അവൻ നീൎത്തുള്ളികളെ ആകൎഷിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ ആവിയാൽ അവ മഴയായി പെയ്യുന്നു.

For he maketh small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:

28 മേഘങ്ങൾ അവയെ ചൊരിയുന്നു; മനുഷ്യരുടെമേൽ ധാരാളമായി പൊഴിക്കുന്നു.

Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.

29 ആൎക്കെങ്കിലും മേഘങ്ങളുടെ വിരിവുകളെയും അവന്റെ കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ മുഴക്കത്തെയും ഗ്രഹിക്കാമോ?

Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?

30 അവൻ തന്റെ ചുറ്റും പ്രകാശം വിരിക്കുന്നു; സമുദ്രത്തിന്റെ അടിയെ മൂടുന്നു.

Behold, he spreadeth his light upon it, and covereth the bottom of the sea.

31 ഇവയാൽ അവൻ ജാതികളെ ന്യായം വിധിക്കുന്നു; ആഹാരവും ധാരാളമായി കൊടുക്കുന്നു.

For by them judgeth he the people; he giveth meat in abundance.

32 അവൻ മിന്നൽകൊണ്ടു തൃക്കൈ നിറെക്കുന്നു; പ്രതിയോഗിയുടെ നേരെ അതിനെ നിയോഗിക്കുന്നു.

With clouds he covereth the light; and commandeth it not to shine by the cloud that cometh betwixt.

33 അതിന്റെ മുഴക്കം അവനെയും കന്നുകാലികൾ എഴുന്നെള്ളുന്നവനെയും കുറിച്ചു അറിവുതരുന്നു.

The noise thereof sheweth concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.
