ഇയ്യോബ് 33
1 എങ്കിലോ ഇയ്യോബേ, എന്റെ ഭാഷണം കേട്ടുകൊൾക; എന്റെ സകലവാക്കുകളും ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചുകൊൾക.
But, in very deed, hear, I pray thee, Job, my discourse, and, to all my words, give thou ear.
2 ഇതാ, ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ എന്റെ വായ്തുറക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ വായിൽ എന്റെ നാവു സംസാരിക്കുന്നു.
Lo! I pray thee, I have opened my mouth, My tongue, with my palate, hath spoken,
3 എന്റെ വചനങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ഉള്ളിലെ നേർ ഉച്ചരിക്കും. എന്റെ അധരങ്ങൾ അറിയുന്നതു അവ പരമാൎത്ഥമായി പ്രസ്താവിക്കും.
Mine utterances come straight from mine own heart, and, what I know, my lips have truly spoken;
4 ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആത്മാവു എന്നെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു; സൎവ്വശക്തന്റെ ശ്വാസം എനിക്കു ജീവനെ തരുന്നു.
The spirit of GOD, hath made me, and, the inspiration of the Almighty, giveth me life.
5 നിനക്കു കഴിയുമെങ്കിൽ എന്നോടു പ്രതിവാദിക്ക; സന്നദ്ധനായി എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ നിന്നുകൊൾക.
If thou art able to answer me, Set in order before me—take thy stand!
6 ഇതാ, നിന്നെപ്പോലെ ഞാനും ദൈവത്തിന്നുള്ളവൻ; എന്നെയും മണ്ണുകൊണ്ടു നിൎമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
Lo! I am like thyself toward GOD, From clay, have I been nipped off, even I!
7 എന്റെ ഭീഷണി നിന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുകയില്ല; എന്റെ ഘനം നിനക്കു ഭാരമായിരിക്കയുമില്ല.
Lo! my terror, will not startle thee, nor, my hand, upon thee, be heavy.
8 ഞാൻ കേൾക്കെ നീ പറഞ്ഞതും നിന്റെ വാക്കു ഞാൻ കേട്ടതും എന്തെന്നാൽ:
But thou hast spoken in mine ears, and, the sound of words, I heard: —
9 ഞാൻ ലംഘനം ഇല്ലാത്ത നിൎമ്മലൻ; ഞാൻ നിൎദ്ദോഷി; എന്നിൽ അകൃത്യവുമില്ല.
Pure am, I, without transgression, —Clean am, I, and have no iniquity;
10 അവൻ എന്റെ നേരെ വിരുദ്ധങ്ങളെ കണ്ടുപിടിക്കുന്നു; എന്നെ തനിക്കു ശത്രുവായി വിചാരിക്കുന്നു.
Lo! occasions of hostility, would he find against me, He counteth me an enemy to him;
11 അവൻ എന്റെ കാലുകളെ ആമത്തിൽ ഇടുന്നു; എന്റെ പാതകളെ ഒക്കെയും സൂക്ഷിച്ചുനോക്കുന്നു.
He putteth—in the stocks—my feet, He watcheth all my paths.
12 ഇതിന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നോടു ഉത്തരം പറയാം: ഇതിൽ നീ നീതിമാൻ അല്ല; ദൈവം മനുഷ്യനെക്കാൾ വലിയവനല്ലോ.
Lo! in this, thou hast not been right—let me answer thee, For, GOD, is greater than, man.
13 നീ അവനോടു എന്തിന്നു വാദിക്കുന്നു? തന്റെ കാൎയ്യങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നിന്നും അവൻ കാരണം പറയുന്നില്ലല്ലോ.
Wherefore, against him, hast thou contended? For, with none of his reasons, will he respond.
14 ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ വട്ടം ദൈവം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; മനുഷ്യൻ അതു കൂട്ടാക്കുന്നില്ലതാനും.
For, in one way, GOD may speak, —and, in a second way, one may not heed it: —
15 ഗാഢനിദ്ര മനുഷ്യൎക്കുണ്ടാകുമ്പോൾ, അവർ ശയ്യമേൽ നിദ്രകൊള്ളുമ്പോൾ, സ്വപ്നത്തിൽ, രാത്രിദൎശനത്തിൽ തന്നേ,
In a dream, a vision of the night, when a deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed,
16 അവൻ മനുഷ്യരുടെ ചെവി തുറക്കുന്നു; അവരോടുള്ള പ്രബോധനെക്കു മുദ്രയിടുന്നു.
Then, uncovereth he the ear of men, and, on their correction, affixeth a seal;
17 മനുഷ്യനെ അവന്റെ ദുഷ്കൎമ്മത്തിൽനിന്നു അകറ്റുവാനും പുരുഷനെ ഗൎവ്വത്തിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷിപ്പാനും തന്നേ.
To turn a son of earth from his deed, while yet, pride, from man he concealeth:
18 അവൻ കുഴിയിൽനിന്നു അവന്റെ പ്രാണനെയും വാളാൽ നശിക്കാതവണ്ണം അവന്റെ ജീവനെയും കാക്കുന്നു.
He keepeth back his said from the pit, and his life from passing away by a weapon.
19 തന്റെ കിടക്കമേൽ അവൻ വേദനയാൽ ശിക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു; അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികളിൽ ഇടവിടാതെ പോരാട്ടം ഉണ്ടു.
Or he is chastised with pain, upon his bed, and, the strife of his bones, is unceasing!
20 അതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്റെ ജീവൻ അപ്പവും അവന്റെ പ്രാണൻ സ്വാദുഭോജനവും വെറുക്കുന്നു.
So that his life maketh loathsome [his] food, and his soul, dainty meat;
21 അവന്റെ മാംസം ക്ഷയിച്ചു കാണ്മാനില്ലാതെയായിരിക്കുന്നു; കാണ്മാനില്ലാതിരുന്ന അവന്റെ അസ്ഥികൾ പൊങ്ങിനില്ക്കുന്നു.
His flesh wasteth away out of sight, and bared are the bones once unseen;
22 അവന്റെ പ്രാണൻ ശവക്കുഴിക്കും അവന്റെ ജീവൻ നാശകന്മാൎക്കും അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
So doth his soul draw near to the pit, and his life to the inflicters of death:
23 മനുഷ്യനോടു അവന്റെ ധൎമ്മം അറിയിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ആയിരത്തിൽ ഒരുത്തനായി മദ്ധ്യസ്ഥനായോരു ദൂതൻ അവന്നു വേണ്ടി ഉണ്ടെന്നുവരികിൽ
If there hath been near him a messenger who could interpret—one of a thousand, to declare to the son of earth His uprightness,
24 അവൻ അവങ്കൽ കൃപ വിചാരിച്ചു: കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങാതവണ്ണം ഇവനെ രക്ഷിക്കേണമേ; ഞാൻ ഒരു മറുവില കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറയും
Then hath he shewed him favour, and said, Set him free from going down to the pit, I have found a price of redemption!
25 അപ്പോൾ അവന്റെ ദേഹം യൌവനചൈതന്യത്താൽ പുഷ്ടിവെക്കും; അവൻ ബാല്യപ്രായത്തിലേക്കു തിരിഞ്ഞുവരും.
His flesh hath been made fresher than a child’s, he hath returned to the days of his youth;
26 അവൻ ദൈവത്തോടു പ്രാൎത്ഥിക്കും; അവൻ അവങ്കൽ പ്രസാദിക്കും; തിരുമുഖത്തെ അവൻ സന്തോഷത്തോടെ കാണും; അവൻ മനുഷ്യന്നു അവന്റെ നീതിയെ പകരം കൊടുക്കും.
He made supplication unto GOD, who hath accepted him, and he hath beheld his face with a shout of triumph, Thus hath he given back to man his righteousness.
27 അവൻ മനുഷ്യരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ പാടി പറയുന്നതു: ഞാൻ പാപം ചെയ്തു നേരായുള്ളതു മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞു; അതിന്നു എന്നോടു പകരം ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല.
He sang before men, and said, I sinned, and, uprightness, I perverted, yet he requited me not;
28 അവൻ എന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കുഴിയിൽ ഇറങ്ങാതവണ്ണം രക്ഷിച്ചു; എന്റെ ജീവൻ പ്രകാശത്തെ കണ്ടു സന്തോഷിക്കുന്നു.
He hath ransomed my soul from passing away into the pit, —and, my life, in the light, shall have vision.
29 ഇതാ, ദൈവം രണ്ടു മൂന്നു പ്രാവശ്യം ഇവയൊക്കെയും മനുഷ്യനോടു ചെയ്യുന്നു.
Lo! a these things, doth GOD work, two ways, three, with a man;
30 അവന്റെ പ്രാണനെ കുഴിയിൽനിന്നു കരേറ്റേണ്ടതിന്നും ജീവന്റെ പ്രകാശംകൊണ്ടു അവനെ പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും തന്നേ.
To bring back his soul from the pit, to enlighten with the light of the living.
31 ഇയ്യോബേ, ശ്രദ്ധവെച്ചു കേൾക്ക; മിണ്ടാതെയിരിക്ക; ഞാൻ സംസാരിക്കാം.
Mark well, O Job, and hearken to me, Be silent, and, I, will speak:
32 നിനക്കു ഉത്തരം പറവാനുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ പറക; സംസാരിക്ക; നിന്നെ നീതീകരിപ്പാൻ ആകുന്നു എന്റെ താല്പൎയ്യം.
If there is anything to say, reply to me, Speak, for I desire to justify thee;
33 ഇല്ലെന്നുവരികിൽ, നീ എന്റെ വാക്കു കേൾക്ക; മിണ്ടാതിരിക്ക; ഞാൻ നിനക്കു ജ്ഞാനം ഉപദേശിച്ചുതരാം.
If not, do, thou, hearken unto me, Be silent, that I may teach thee wisdom.
