ഇയ്യോബ് 25

1 അതിന്നു ശൂഹ്യനായ ബില്ദാദ് ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,

2 ആധിപത്യവും ഭയങ്കരത്വവും അവന്റെ പക്കൽ ഉണ്ടു; തന്റെ ഉന്നതസ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ അവൻ സമാധാനം പാലിക്കുന്നു.

“Dominion and fear are with him. He makes peace in his high places.

3 അവന്റെ സൈന്യങ്ങൾക്കു സംഖ്യയുണ്ടോ? അവന്റെ പ്രകാശം ആൎക്കു ഉദിക്കാതെയിരിക്കുന്നു?

Can his armies be counted? On whom does his light not arise?

4 മൎത്യൻ ദൈവസന്നിധിയിൽ എങ്ങനെ നീതിമാനാകും? സ്ത്രീ പ്രസവിച്ചവൻ എങ്ങനെ നിൎമ്മലനാകും?

How then can man be just with God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be clean?

5 ചന്ദ്രന്നുപോലും ശോഭയില്ലല്ലോ; നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളും തൃക്കണ്ണിന്നു ശുദ്ധിയുള്ളവയല്ല.

Behold, even the moon has no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight;

6 പിന്നെ പുഴുവായിരിക്കുന്ന മൎത്യനും കൃമിയായിരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യനും എങ്ങനെ?

How much less man, who is a worm, and the son of man, who is a worm!”
