യിരെമ്യാവു 33

1 യിരെമ്യാവു കാവല്പുരമുറ്റത്തു അടെക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു രണ്ടാം പ്രാവശ്യം അവന്നുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the second time, while he was still shut up in the place of the armed watchmen, saying,

2 അതിനെ അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്ന യഹോവ, അതിനെ നിവൎത്തിപ്പാൻ നിൎണ്ണയിക്കുന്ന യഹോവ, യഹോവ എന്നു നാമം ഉള്ളവൻ തന്നേ, ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു;

These are the words of the Lord, who is doing it, the Lord who is forming it, to make it certain; the Lord is his name;

3 എന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്ക; ഞാൻ നിനക്കുത്തരം അരുളം; നീ അറിയാത്ത മഹത്തായും അഗോചരമായും ഉള്ള കാൎയ്യങ്ങളെ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ അറിയിക്കും.

Let your cry come to me, and I will give you an answer, and let you see great things and secret things of which you had no knowledge.

4 വാടകൾക്കും വാളിന്നും എതിരെ തടുത്തു നില്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നായി ഈ നഗരത്തിൽ പൊളിച്ചിട്ടിരിക്കുന്ന വീടുകളെയും യെഹൂദാരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ അരമനകളെയും കുറിച്ചു യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

For this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, has said about the houses of this town and the houses of the kings of Judah, which have been broken down to make earthworks and ...;

5 അവർ കല്ദയരോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്‌വാൻ ചെല്ലുന്നു; എന്നാൽ അതു, ഞാൻ എന്റെ കോപത്തിലും എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിലും സംഹരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യരുടെ ശവങ്ങൾകൊണ്ടു അവയെ നിറെപ്പാനത്രേ; അവരുടെ സകലദോഷവുംനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ എന്റെ മുഖത്തെ ഈ നഗരത്തിന്നു മറെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

... and to make them full of the dead bodies of men whom I have put to death in my wrath and in my passion, and because of whose evil-doing I have kept my face covered from this town.

6 ഇതാ, ഞാൻ രോഗശാന്തിയും ആരോഗ്യവും വരുത്തി അവരെ സൌഖ്യമാക്കുകയും സമാധാനത്തിന്റെയും സത്യത്തിന്റെയും സമൃദ്ധി അവൎക്കു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യും.

See, I will make it healthy and well again, I will even make them well; I will let them see peace and good faith in full measure.

7 ഞാൻ യെഹൂദയുടെ പ്രവാസികളെയും യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പ്രവാസികളെയും മടക്കിവരുത്തി പണ്ടത്തെപ്പോലെ അവൎക്കു അഭിവൃത്തി വരുത്തും.

And I will let the fate of Judah and of Israel be changed, building them up as at first.

8 അവർ എന്നോടു പിഴെച്ചതായ സകല അകൃത്യത്തെയും ഞാൻ നീക്കി അവരെ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കയും അവർ പാപം ചെയ്തു എന്നോടു ദ്രോഹിച്ചതായ സകല അകൃത്യങ്ങളെയും മോചിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

And I will make them clean from all their sin, with which they have been sinning against me; I will have forgiveness for all their sins, with which they have been sinning against me, and with which they have done evil against me.

9 ഞാൻ അവൎക്കു ചെയ്യുന്ന എല്ലാനന്മയെയും കുറിച്ചു കേൾക്കുന്ന സകലഭൂജാതികളുടെയും മുമ്പാകെ അതു എനിക്കു ആനന്ദനാമവും പ്രശംസയും മഹത്വവും ആയിരിക്കും; ഞാൻ അതിന്നു വരുത്തുന്ന എല്ലാനന്മയും നിമിത്തവും സൎവ്വസമാധാനവുംനിമിത്തവും അവർ പേടിച്ചു വിറെക്കും.

And this town will be to me for a name of joy, for a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth, who, hearing of all the good which I am doing for them, will be shaking with fear because of all the good and the peace which I am doing for it.

10 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: മനുഷ്യരും മൃഗവും ഇല്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്ന ഈ സ്ഥലത്തും യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും മനുഷ്യനോ, നിവാസികളോ, മൃഗമോ ഇല്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്ന യെരൂശലേംവീഥികളിലും

This is what the Lord has said: There will again be sounding in this place, of which you say, It is a waste, without man and without beast; even in the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem which are waste and unpeopled, without man and without beast,

11 ഇനിയും ആനന്ദഘോഷവും സന്തോഷധ്വനിയും മണവാളന്റെ സ്വരവും മണവാട്ടിയുടെ സ്വരവും: സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവയെ സ്തുതിപ്പിൻ, യഹോവ നല്ലവനല്ലോ, അവന്റെ ദയ എന്നേക്കുമുള്ളതു എന്നു പറയുന്നവരുടെ ശബ്ദവും യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ സ്തോത്രയാഗം കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നവരുടെ ശബ്ദവും കേൾക്കും; ഞാൻ ദേശത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥിതി മാറ്റി പണ്ടത്തെപ്പോലെ ആക്കും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Happy sounds, the voice of joy, the voice of the newly-married man and the voice of the bride, the voices of those who say, Give praise to the Lord of armies, for the Lord is good, for his mercy is unchanging for ever: the voices of those who go with praise into the house of the Lord. For I will let the land come back to its first condition, says the Lord.

12 സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: മനുഷ്യനും മൃഗവും ഇല്ലാതെ ശൂന്യമായിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ സ്ഥലത്തും അതിന്റെ സകലപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ആടുകളെ കിടത്തുന്ന ഇടയന്മാൎക്കു ഇനിയും മേച്ചൽപുറം ഉണ്ടാകും;

This is what the Lord of armies has said: Again there will be in this place, which is a waste, without man and without beast, and in all its towns, a resting-place where the keepers of sheep will make their flocks take rest.

13 മലനാട്ടിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും താഴ്വീതിയിലെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും തെക്കെ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ബെന്യാമീൻദേശത്തും യെരൂശലേമിന്റെ ചുറ്റുവട്ടത്തിലും യെഹൂദാപട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ആടുകൾ എണ്ണുന്നവന്റെ കൈക്കു കീഴെ ഇനിയും കടന്നുപോകും എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

In the towns of the hill-country, in the towns of the lowland, and in the towns of the South and in the land of Benjamin and in the country round Jerusalem and in the towns of Judah, the flocks will again go under the hand of him who is numbering them, says the Lord.

14 ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹത്തോടും യെഹൂദാഗൃഹത്തോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്ത നല്ലവചനം നിവൎത്തിക്കുന്ന കാലം വരും എന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

See, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will give effect to the good word which I have said about the people of Israel and the people of Judah.

15 ആ നാളുകളിലും ആ കാലത്തും ഞാൻ ദാവീദിന്നു നീതിയുള്ളോരു മുളയായവനെ മുളെപ്പിക്കും; അവൻ ദേശത്തു നീതിയും ന്യായവും നടത്തും.

In those days and at that time, I will let a Branch of righteousness come up for David; and he will be a judge in righteousness in the land.

16 അന്നാളിൽ യെഹൂദാ രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും; യെരൂശലേം നിൎഭയമായ്‌വസിക്കും; അതിന്നു യഹോവ നമ്മുടെ നീതി എന്നു പേർ പറയും.

In those days, Judah will have salvation and Jerusalem will be safe: and this is the name which will be given to her: The Lord is our righteousness.

17 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: യിസ്രായേൽ ഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരിപ്പാൻ ദാവീദിന്നു ഒരു പുരുഷൻ ഇല്ലാതെ വരികയില്ല.

For the Lord has said, David will never be without a man to take his place on the seat of the kingdom of Israel;

18 ദിനംപ്രതി ഹോമയാഗം കഴിപ്പാനും ഭോജനയാഗം ദഹിപ്പിപ്പാനും ഹനനയാഗം അൎപ്പിപ്പാനും എന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ ലേവ്യ പുരോഹിതന്മാൎക്കു ഒരു പുരുഷൻ ഇല്ലാതെ വരികയുമില്ല.

And the priests and the Levites will never be without a man to come before me, offering burned offerings and perfumes and meal offerings and offerings of beasts at all times.

19 യിരെമ്യാവിന്നു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു ഉണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,

20 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: തക്കസമയത്തു പകലും രാവും ഇല്ലാതിരിക്കത്തക്കവണ്ണം പകലിനോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമവും രാത്രിയോടുള്ള എന്റെ നിയമവും ദുൎബ്ബലമാക്കുവാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കഴിയുമെങ്കിൽ,

The Lord has said: If it is possible for my agreement of the day and the night to be broken, so that day and night no longer come at their fixed times,

21 എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന്നു അവന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ ഇരുന്നു വാഴുവാൻ ഒരു മകൻ ഇല്ലാതെ വരത്തക്കവണ്ണം അവനോടും എന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരായ ലേവ്യപുരോഹിതന്മാരോടും ഉള്ള എന്റെ നിയമവും ദുൎബ്ബലമായ്‌വരാം.

Then my agreement with my servant David may be broken, so that he no longer has a son to take his place on the seat of the kingdom; and my agreement with the Levites, the priests, my servants.

22 ആകാശത്തിലെ സൈന്യത്തെ എണ്ണുവാനും കടല്പുറത്തെ മണൽ അളക്കുവാനും കഴിയാത്തതുപോലെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന്റെ സന്തതിയെയും എന്റെ ശുശ്രൂഷകന്മാരായ ലേവ്യരെയും വൎദ്ധിപ്പിക്കും.

As it is not possible for the army of heaven to be numbered, or the sand of the sea measured, so will I make the seed of my servant David, and the Levites my servants.

23 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു യിരെമ്യാവിന്നുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

And the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,

24 യഹോവ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്ന രണ്ടു വംശങ്ങളെയും അവൻ തള്ളിക്കളഞ്ഞു എന്നു ഈ ജനം പറയുന്നതു നീ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ? ഇങ്ങനെ അവൻ എന്റെ ജനത്തെ അതു ഇനി ഒരു ജാതിയല്ല എന്നു ദുഷിച്ചു പറയുന്നു.

Have you taken note of what these people have said, The two families, which the Lord took for himself, he has given up? This they say, looking down on my people as being, in their eyes, no longer a nation.

25 യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു; പകലിനോടും രാത്രിയോടും ഉള്ള എന്റെ നിയമം നിലനില്ക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ, ഞാൻ ആകാശത്തിന്റെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും വ്യവസ്ഥ നിയമിച്ചിട്ടില്ലെങ്കിൽ,

The Lord has said, If I have not made day and night, and if the limits of heaven and earth have not been fixed by me,

26 ഞാൻ യാക്കോബിന്റെയും എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിന്റെയും സന്തതിയെ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെയും യിസ്ഹാക്കിന്റെയും യാക്കോബിന്റെയും സന്തതിക്കു അധിപതിമാരായിരിപ്പാൻ അവന്റെ സന്തതിയിൽ നിന്നു ഒരാളെ എടുക്കാതവണ്ണം തള്ളിക്കളയും. അവരുടെ പ്രവാസികളെ ഞാൻ മടക്കിവരുത്തുകയും അവൎക്കു കരുണ കാണിക്കയും ചെയ്യും.

Then I will give up caring for the seed of Jacob and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will let their fate be changed and will have mercy on them.
