1 പ്രസവിക്കാത്ത മച്ചിയേ, ഘോഷിക്ക; നോവു കിട്ടീട്ടില്ലാത്തവളേ, പൊട്ടി ആൎത്തു ഘോഷിക്ക; ഏകാകിനിയുടെ മക്കൾ ഭൎത്താവുള്ളവളുടെ മക്കളെക്കാൾ അധികം എന്നു യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

16 തീക്കനൽ ഊതി പണിചെയ്തു ഓരോ ആയുധം തീൎക്കുന്ന കൊല്ലനെ ഞാൻ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; നശിപ്പിപ്പാൻ സംഹാരകനെയും ഞാൻ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
