യെഹെസ്കേൽ 6
1 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:
The word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, നീ യിസ്രായേൽപൎവ്വതങ്ങളുടെ നേരെ മുഖം തിരിച്ചു അവൎക്കു വിരോധമായി പ്രവചിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതു:
"Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy to them,
3 യിസ്രായേൽപൎവ്വതങ്ങളേ, യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവിന്റെ വചനം കേൾപ്പിൻ! മലകളോടും കുന്നുകളോടും നീരൊഴുക്കുകളോടും താഴ്വരയോടും യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെനേരെ വാൾ വരുത്തും: ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ പൂജാഗിരികളെ നശിപ്പിക്കും.
and say, 'You mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD: Thus says the LORD to the mountains and to the hills, to the watercourses and to the valleys: "Look, I, even I, will bring a sword on you, and I will destroy your high places.
4 നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾ ശൂന്യമാകും; നിങ്ങളുടെ സൂൎയ്യസ്തംഭങ്ങൾ തകൎന്നുപോകും; നിങ്ങളുടെ നിഹതന്മാരെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ വീഴിക്കും.
Your altars shall become desolate, and your incense altars shall be broken; and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.
5 ഞാൻ യിസ്രായേൽമക്കളുടെ ശവങ്ങളെ അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ മുമ്പിൽ ഇടും; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളുടെ അസ്ഥികളെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾക്കു ചുറ്റും ചിതറിക്കും.
I will lay the dead bodies of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones around your altars.
6 നിങ്ങളുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങൾ ഇടിഞ്ഞു ശൂന്യമാകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ തകൎന്നു മുടിഞ്ഞുപോകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ സൂൎയ്യസ്തംഭങ്ങളെ വെട്ടിക്കളയുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ പണികൾ നശിച്ചുപോകയും ചെയ്‌വാൻ തക്കവണ്ണം നിങ്ങൾ പാൎക്കുന്നേടത്തൊക്കെയും പട്ടണങ്ങൾ പാഴായും പൂജാഗിരികൾ ശൂന്യമായും തീരും.
In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your incense altars may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
7 നിഹതന്മാർ നിങ്ങളുടെ നടുവിൽ വീഴും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.
The slain shall fall in the midst of you, and you shall know that I am the LORD.
8 എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങൾ ദേശങ്ങളിൽ ചിതറിപ്പോകുമ്പോൾ വാളിന്നു തെറ്റിപ്പോയവർ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു ഉണ്ടാകേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ഒരു ശേഷിപ്പിനെ വെച്ചേക്കും.
"'"Yet will I leave a remnant, in that you shall have some that escape the sword among the nations, when you shall be scattered through the countries.
9 എന്നെ വിട്ടകന്നു പരസംഗം ചെയ്യുന്ന അവരുടെ ഹൃദയത്തെയും വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളോടു ചേൎന്നു പരസംഗം ചെയ്യുന്ന അവരുടെ കണ്ണുകളെയും ഞാൻ തകൎത്തുകളഞ്ഞശേഷം, നിങ്ങളിൽ ചാടിപ്പോയവർ, അവരെ പിടിച്ചു കൊണ്ടുപോയ ജാതികളുടെ ഇടയിൽവെച്ചു എന്നെ ഓൎക്കും; അവരുടെ സകലമ്ലേച്ഛതകളാലും ചെയ്ത ദോഷങ്ങൾ നിമിത്തം അവൎക്കു തങ്ങളോടു തന്നേ വെറുപ്പുതോന്നും.
Those of you that escape shall remember me among the nations where they shall be carried captive, how that I have been broken with their lewd heart, which has departed from me, and with their eyes, which play the prostitute after their idols: and they shall loathe themselves in their own sight for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
10 ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു അവർ അറിയും; ഈ അനൎത്ഥം അവൎക്കു വരുത്തുമെന്നു വെറുതെയല്ല ഞാൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു.
They shall know that I am the LORD: I have not said in vain that I would bring this disaster on them."'"
11 യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ ദോഷകരമായ സകലമ്ലേച്ഛതകളുംനിമിത്തം നീ കൈകൊണ്ടടിച്ചു, കാൽകൊണ്ടു ചവിട്ടി, അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! എന്നു പറക; അവർ വാൾകൊണ്ടും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടും മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടും വീഴും;
"Thus says the LORD: 'Strike with your hand, and stamp with your foot, and say, "Alas." because of all the evil abominations of the house of Israel; for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
12 ദൂരത്തുള്ളവൻ മഹാമാരികൊണ്ടു മരിക്കും; സമീപത്തുള്ളവൻ വാൾകൊണ്ടു വീഴും; ശേഷിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവനും രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടവനും ക്ഷാമംകൊണ്ടു മരിക്കും; ഇങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ക്രോധം അവരിൽ നിവൎത്തിക്കും.
He who is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he who is near shall fall by the sword; and he who remains and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my wrath on them.
13 അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ സകലവിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾക്കും സൌരഭ്യവാസന അൎപ്പിച്ച സ്ഥലമായി ഉയരമുള്ള എല്ലാ കുന്നിന്മേലും സകലപൎവ്വതശിഖരങ്ങളിലും എല്ലാപച്ചമരത്തിൻകീഴിലും തഴെച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാ കരുവേലകത്തിൻകീഴിലും അവരുടെ നിഹതന്മാർ അവരുടെ ബലിപീഠങ്ങളുടെ ചുറ്റും അവരുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ വീണു കിടക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.
You shall know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols around their altars, on every high hill, on all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the places where they offered pleasant aroma to all their idols.
14 ഞാൻ അവരുടെ നേരെ കൈ നീട്ടി, അവരുടെ സകലവാസസ്ഥലങ്ങളിലും ദേശത്തെ രിബ്ളാമരുഭൂമിയെക്കാൾ അധികം നിൎജ്ജനവും ശൂന്യവുമാക്കും; അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവയെന്നു അവർ അറിയും.
I will stretch out my hand on them, and make the land desolate and waste, from the wilderness toward Riblah, throughout all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD."'"
