യെഹെസ്കേൽ 13

1 യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എനിക്കുണ്ടായതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,

2 മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, യിസ്രായേലിൽ പ്രവചിച്ചുപോരുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാരെക്കുറിച്ചു നീ പ്രവചിച്ചു, സ്വന്തഹൃദയങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു പ്രവചിക്കുന്നവരോടു പറയേണ്ടതു: യഹോവയുടെ വചനം കേൾപ്പിൻ!

'Son of man, prophesy concerning the prophets of Israel who are prophesying, and thou hast said to those prophesying from their own heart: Hear ye a word of Jehovah:

3 യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: സ്വന്തമനസ്സിനെയും കണ്ടിട്ടില്ലാത്ത കാൎയ്യങ്ങളെയും പിന്തുടരുന്ന ബുദ്ധികെട്ട പ്രവാചകന്മാൎക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം!

Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Woe unto the prophets who are foolish, Who are going after their own spirit, And they have seen nothing.

4 യിസ്രായേലേ, നിന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാർ ശൂന്യപ്രദേശങ്ങളിലെ കുറക്കന്മാരെപ്പോലെ ആയിരിക്കുന്നു.

As foxes in the wastes, Thy prophets, O Israel, have been.

5 യഹോവയുടെ നാളിൽ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ഉറെച്ചുനില്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ഇടിവുകളിൽ കയറീട്ടില്ല, യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്നു വേണ്ടി മതിൽ കെട്ടീട്ടുമില്ല.

Ye have not gone up into breaches, Nor do ye make a fence for the house of Israel, To stand in battle in a day of Jehovah.

6 അവർ വ്യാജവും കള്ളപ്രശ്നവും ദൎശിച്ചിട്ടു യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്നു പറയുന്നു; യഹോവ അവരെ അയച്ചില്ലെങ്കിലും വചനം നിവൃത്തിയായ്‌വരുമെന്നു അവർ ആശിക്കുന്നു.

They have seen vanity, and lying divination, Who are saying: An affirmation of Jehovah, And Jehovah hath not sent them, And they have hoped to establish a word.

7 ഞാൻ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യാതിരിക്കെ യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാടു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നതിനാൽ നിങ്ങൾ മിത്ഥ്യാദൎശനം ദൎശിക്കയും വ്യാജപ്രശ്നം പറകയും അല്ലയോ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതു?

A vain vision have ye not seen, And a lying divination spoken, When ye say: An affirmation of Jehovah, And I have not spoken?

8 അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: നിങ്ങൾ വ്യാജം പ്രസ്താവിച്ചു ഭോഷ്കു ദൎശിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because ye have spoken vanity, and seen a lie, Therefore, lo, I [am] against you, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

9 വ്യാജം ദൎശിക്കയും കള്ളപ്രശ്നം പറകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രവാചകന്മാൎക്കു എന്റെ കൈ വിരോധമായിരിക്കും; എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ മന്ത്രിസഭയിൽ അവർ ഇരിക്കയില്ല; യിസ്രായേൽഗൃഹത്തിന്റെ പേർവഴിച്ചാൎത്തിൽ അവരെ എഴുതുകയില്ല; യിസ്രായേൽദേശത്തിൽ അവർ കടക്കയുമില്ല; ഞാൻ യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.

And My hand hath been on the prophets, Who are seeing vanity, and who are divining a lie, In the assembly of My people they are not, And in the writing of the house of Israel they are not written, And unto the ground of Israel they come not, And ye have known that I [am] the Lord Jehovah.

10 സമാധാനം ഇല്ലാതെയിരിക്കെ സമാധാനം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു അവർ എന്റെ ജനത്തെ ചതിച്ചിരിക്കകൊണ്ടും അതു ചുവർ പണിതാൽ അവർ കുമ്മായം പൂശിക്കളയുന്നതുകൊണ്ടും

Because, even because, they did cause My people to err, Saying, Peace! and there is no peace, And that one is building a wall, And lo, they are daubing it with chalk.

11 അടൎന്നുവീഴുംവണ്ണം കുമ്മായം പൂശുന്നവരോടു നീ പറയേണ്ടതു: പെരുമഴ ചൊരിയും; ഞാൻ ആലിപ്പഴം പൊഴിയിച്ചു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റടിപ്പിക്കും.

Say to those daubing with chalk — It falleth, There hath been an overflowing shower, And ye, O hailstones, do fall, And a tempestuous wind doth rend,

12 ചുവർ വീണിരിക്കുന്നു; നിങ്ങൾ പൂശിയ കുമ്മായം എവിടെപ്പോയി എന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു പറകയില്ലയോ?

And lo, fallen hath the wall! Doth not one say unto you, Where [is] the daubing that ye daubed?

13 അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ഞാൻ എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിൽ ഒരു കൊടുങ്കാറ്റടിക്കുമാറാക്കും; എന്റെ കോപത്തിൽ പെരുമഴ പെയ്യിക്കും; എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തിൽ മുടിച്ചുകളയുന്ന വലിയ ആലിപ്പഴം പൊഴിക്കും.

Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: I have rent with a tempestuous wind in My fury, And an overflowing shower is in Mine anger, And hailstones in My fury — to consume.

14 നിങ്ങൾ കുമ്മായം പൂശിയ ചുവരിനെ ഞാൻ ഇങ്ങനെ ഇടിച്ചു നിലത്തു തള്ളിയിട്ടു അതിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തും; അതു വീഴും; നിങ്ങൾ അതിന്റെ നടുവിൽ മുടിഞ്ഞു പോകും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.

And I have broken down the wall that ye daubed with chalk, And have caused it to come unto the earth, And revealed hath been its foundation, And it hath fallen, And ye have been consumed in its midst, And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah.

15 അങ്ങനെ ഞാൻ ചുവരിന്മേലും അതിന്നു കുമ്മായം പൂശിയവരുടെമേലും എന്റെ ക്രോധത്തെ നിവൃത്തിയാക്കീട്ടു നിങ്ങളോടു:

And I have completed My wrath on the wall, And on those daubing it with chalk, And I say to you: The wall is not, And those daubing it are not;

16 ഇനി ചുവരില്ല; അതിന്നു കുമ്മായം പൂശിയവരായി, യെരൂശലേമിനെക്കുറിച്ചു പ്രവചിച്ചു, സമാധാനമില്ലാതിരിക്കെ അതിന്നു സമാധാനദൎശനങ്ങളെ ദൎശിക്കുന്ന യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പ്രവാചകന്മാരും ഇല്ല എന്നു പറയും എന്നു യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവിന്റെ അരുളപ്പാടു.

The prophets of Israel who are prophesying concerning Jerusalem, And who are seeing for her a vision of peace, And there is no peace, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.

17 നീയോ, മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, സ്വന്തവിചാരം പ്രവചിക്കുന്നവരായ നിന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ പുത്രിമാരുടെനേരെ നിന്റെ മുഖം തിരിച്ചു അവൎക്കു വിരോധമായി പ്രവചിച്ചു പറയേണ്ടതെന്തെന്നാൽ:

And thou, son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, who are prophesying out of their own heart, and prophesy concerning them,

18 യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ദേഹികളെ വേട്ടയാടേണ്ടതിന്നു കയ്യേപ്പുകൾക്കു ഒക്കെയും രക്ഷകളും ഏതു പൊക്കത്തിലും ഉള്ളവരുടെ തലെക്കുതക്ക മൂടുപടങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്ന സ്ത്രീകൾക്കു അയ്യോ കഷ്ടം! നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ ജനത്തിൽ ചില ദേഹികളെ വേട്ടയാടി കൊല്ലുകയും നിങ്ങളുടെ ആദായത്തിന്നായി ചില ദേഹികളെ ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിക്കയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

And thou hast said: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Woe to those sowing pillows for all joints of the arm, And to those making the kerchiefs For the head of every stature — to hunt souls, The souls do ye hunt of My people? And the souls ye have do ye keep alive?

19 മരിക്കരുതാത്ത ദേഹികളെ കൊല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നും ജീവിച്ചിരിക്കരുതാത്ത ദേഹികളെ ജീവനോടെ രക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങൾ, ഭോഷ്കു കേൾക്കുന്ന എന്റെ ജനത്തോടു ഭോഷ്കുപറയുന്നതിനാൽ എന്റെ ജനത്തിന്റെ ഇടയിൽ ഒരു പിടി യവത്തിന്നും ഒരു അപ്പക്കഷണത്തിന്നും വേണ്ടി എന്നെ അശുദ്ധമാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Yea, ye pierce Me concerning My people, For handfuls of barley, And for pieces of bread, to put to death Souls that should not die, And to keep alive souls that should not live, By your lying to My people — hearkening to lies.

20 അതുകൊണ്ടു യഹോവയായ കൎത്താവു ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: ദേഹികളെ പറവ ജാതികളെപ്പോലെ വേട്ടയാടുന്ന നിങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷകൾക്കു ഞാൻ വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ അവയെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഭുജങ്ങളിൽനിന്നു പറിച്ചുകീറി, ദേഹികളേ, നിങ്ങൾ പറവജാതികളെപ്പോലെ വേട്ടയാടുന്ന ദേഹികളെ തന്നേ, വിടുവിക്കും

Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I [am] against your pillows, With which ye are hunting there the souls of the flourishing, And I have rent them from off your arms, And have sent away the souls that ye are hunting, The souls of the flourishing.

21 നിങ്ങളുടെ മൂടുപടങ്ങളെയും ഞാൻ പറിച്ചുകീറി എന്റെ ജനത്തെ നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിക്കും; അവർ ഇനി നിങ്ങളുടെ കൈക്കൽ വേട്ടയായിരിക്കയില്ല; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.

And I have torn your kerchiefs, And delivered My people out of your hand, And they are no more in your hand for a prey, And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah.

22 ഞാൻ ദുഃഖിപ്പിക്കാത്ത നീതിമാന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ നിങ്ങൾ വ്യാജങ്ങളെക്കൊണ്ടു ദുഃഖിപ്പിക്കയും തന്റെ ദുർമ്മാൎഗ്ഗം വിട്ടുതിരിഞ്ഞു ജീവരക്ഷ പ്രാപിക്കാതവണ്ണം ദുഷ്ടനെ നിങ്ങൾ ധൈൎയ്യപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു

Because of paining the heart of the righteous with falsehood, And I have not pained it, And strengthening the hands of the wicked, So as not to turn back from his evil way, To keep him alive,

23 നിങ്ങൾ ഇനി വ്യാജം ദൎശിക്കയോ പ്രശ്നം പറകയോ ചെയ്കയില്ല; ഞാൻ എന്റെ ജനത്തെ നിങ്ങളുടെ കയ്യിൽനിന്നു വിടുവിക്കും; ഞാൻ യഹോവ എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.

Therefore, vanity ye do not see, And divination ye do not divine again, And I have delivered My people out of your hand, And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah!'
