1 ദിനവൃത്താന്തം 9
1 യിസ്രായേൽ മുഴുവനും വംശാവലിയായി ചാൎത്തപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു; അതു യിസ്രായേൽരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ വൃത്താന്തപുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ. യെഹൂദയെയോ അവരുടെ അകൃത്യംനിമിത്തം ബദ്ധരാക്കി ബാബേലിലേക്കു കൊണ്ടുപോയി.
And all Israel were registered by genealogy; and behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel. And Judah was carried away to Babylon because of their transgression.
2 അവരുടെ അവകാശത്തിലും പട്ടണങ്ങളിലും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ആദ്യനിവാസികൾ യിസ്രായേല്യരും പുരോഹിതന്മാരും ലേവ്യരും ദൈവാലയദാസന്മാരും ആയിരുന്നു.
And the inhabitants that were first in their possessions in their cities were the Israelites, the priests, the Levites, and the Nethinim.
3 യെരൂശലേമിലോ ചില യെഹൂദ്യരും ബെന്യാമീന്യരും എഫ്രയീമ്യരും മനശ്ശേയരും പാൎത്തു.
And in Jerusalem dwelt of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and Manasseh:
4 അവരാരെന്നാൽ: യെഹൂദയുടെ മകനായ പേരെസ്സിന്റെ മക്കളിൽ ബാനിയുടെ മകനായ ഇമ്രിയുടെ മകനായ ഒമ്രിയുടെ മകനായ അമ്മീഹൂദിന്റെ മകൻ ഊഥായി;
Uthai the son of Ammihud, the son of Omri, the son of Imri, the son of Bani, of the children of Pherez the son of Judah.
5 ശീലോന്യരിൽ ആദ്യജാതനായ അസായാവും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരും;
And of the Shilonites: Asaiah the firstborn, and his sons.
6 സേരഹിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ യെയൂവേലും അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരുമായ അറുനൂറ്റി തൊണ്ണൂറുപേരും;
And of the sons of Zerah: Jeuel; and their brethren, six hundred and ninety.
7 ബെന്യാമീൻ പുത്രന്മാരിൽ ഹസ്സെനൂവയുടെ മകനായ ഹോദവ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ മെശുല്ലാമിന്റെ മകനായ സല്ലൂവും
And of the sons of Benjamin: Sallu the son of Meshullam, the son of Hodaviah, the son of Hassenuah,
8 യെരോഹാമിന്റെ മകനായ യിബ്നെയാവും മിക്രിയുടെ മകനായ ഉസ്സിയുടെ മകൻ ഏലയും യിബ്നെയാവിന്റെ മകനായ രെയൂവേലിന്റെ മകനായ ശെഫത്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ മെശുല്ലാമും
and Jibneiah the son of Jeroham, and Elah the son of Uzzi, the son of Michri, and Meshullam the son of Shephatiah, the son of Reuel, the son of Jibnijah;
9 തലമുറതലമുറയായി അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ ആകെ തൊള്ളായിരത്തമ്പത്താറുപേരും. ഈ പുരുഷന്മാരൊക്കെയും താന്താങ്ങളുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങളിൽ കുടുംബത്തലവന്മാരായിരുന്നു.
and their brethren, according to their generations, nine hundred and fifty-six. All these men were chief fathers in their fathers' houses.
10 പുരോഹിതന്മാരിൽ യെദയാവും യെഹോയാരീബും യാഖീനും
And of the priests: Jedaiah, and Jehoiarib, and Jachin,
11 അഹീത്തൂബിന്റെ മകനായ മെരായോത്തിന്റെ മകനായ സാദോക്കിന്റെ മകനായ മെശുല്ലാമിന്റെ മകനായ ഹില്ക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായി ദൈവാലയാധിപനായ
and Azariah the son of Hilkijah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, the ruler of the house of God;
12 അസൎയ്യാവും മല്ക്കീയാവിന്റെ മകനായ പശ്ഹൂരിന്റെ മകനായ യെരോഹാമിന്റെ മകൻ അദായാവും ഇമ്മോരിന്റെ മകനായ മെശില്ലേമീത്തിന്റെ മകനായ മെശുല്ലാമിന്റെ മകനായ യഹ്സേരയുടെ മകനായ അദീയേലിന്റെ മകൻ മയശായിയും
and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pashhur, the son of Malchijah, and Masai the son of Adiel, the son of Jahzerah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Meshillemith, the son of Immer;
13 പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്കു തലവന്മാരായ അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരും ആകെ ആയിരത്തെഴുനൂറ്ററുപതുപേർ. ഇവർ ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ ശുശ്രൂഷയുടെ വേലെക്കു ബഹുപ്രാപ്തന്മാർ ആയിരുന്നു.
and their brethren, heads of their fathers' houses, a thousand and seven hundred and sixty; able men for the work of the service of the house of God.
14 ലേവ്യരിലോ മെരാൎയ്യരിൽ ഹശബ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ അസ്രീക്കാമിന്റെ മകനായ ഹശ്ശൂബിന്റെ മകനായ ശെമയ്യാവും
And of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hasshub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, of the sons of Merari;
15 ബക്ബക്കരും ഹേറെശും ഗാലാലും ആസാഫിന്റെ മകനായ സിക്രിയുടെ മകനായ മീഖയുടെ മകൻ മത്ഥന്യാവും
and Bakbakkar, Heresh, and Galal; and Mattaniah the son of Micah, the son of Zichri, the son of Asaph;
16 യെദൂഥൂന്റെ മകനായ ഗാലാലിന്റെ മകനായ ശെമയ്യാവിന്റെ മകൻ ഓബദ്യാവും നെതോഫാത്യരുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ പാൎത്ത എല്ക്കാനയുടെ മകനായ
and Obadiah the son of Shemaiah, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun; and Berechiah the son of Asa, the son of Elkanah, who dwelt in the villages of the Netophathites.
17 ആസയുടെ മകൻ ബെരെഖ്യാവും. വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാർ: ശല്ലൂമും അക്കൂബും തൽമോനും അഹീമാനും അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരും; ശല്ലൂമും തലവനായിരുന്നു.
And the doorkeepers: Shallum, and Akkub, and Talmon, and Ahiman, and their brethren; Shallum was the chief.
18 ലേവ്യപാളയത്തിൽ വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരായ ഇവർ കിഴക്കു വശത്തു രാജപടിവാതില്ക്കൽ ഇന്നുവരെ കാവൽചെയ്തുവരുന്നു.
And they have been hitherto in the king's gate eastward: they were the doorkeepers in the camps of the children of Levi.
19 കോരഹിന്റെ മകനായ എബ്യാസാഫിന്റെ മകനായ കോരേയുടെ മകൻ ശല്ലൂമും അവന്റെ പിതൃഭവനത്തിലെ അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരായ കോരഹ്യരും കൂടാരത്തിന്റെ ഉമ്മരപ്പടിക്കൽ കാവല്ക്കാരായി ശുശ്രൂഷയുടെ വേലെക്കു മേൽവിചാരകന്മാരായിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ പിതാക്കന്മാരും യഹോവയുടെ പാളയത്തിന്നു മേൽവിചാരകന്മാരായി പ്രവേശനപാലകരായിരുന്നു.
And Shallum the son of Kore, the son of Ebiasaph, the son of Korah, and his brethren, of the house of his father, the Korahites, were over the work of the service, keepers of the thresholds of the tent, and their fathers, set over the camp of Jehovah, were keepers of the entrance.
20 എലെയാസാരിന്റെ മകനായ ഫീനെഹാസ് പണ്ടു അവരുടെ അധിപനായിരുന്നു; യഹോവ അവനോടുകൂടെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
And Phinehas the son of Eleazar was the ruler over them formerly; Jehovah was with him.
21 മെശേലെമ്യാവിന്റെ മകനായ സെഖൎയ്യാവു സമാഗമനകൂടാരത്തിന്റെ വാതില്ക്കൽ കാവല്ക്കാരനായിരുന്നു.
Zechariah the son of Meshelemiah was doorkeeper at the entrance to the tent of meeting.
22 ഉമ്മരപ്പടിക്കൽ കാവല്ക്കാരായി നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന ഇവർ ആകെ ഇരുനൂറ്റി പന്ത്രണ്ടുപേർ. അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ വംശാവലിപ്രകാരം ചാൎത്തപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു; ദാവീദും ദൎശകനായ ശമൂവേലും ആയിരുന്നു അവരെ അതതു ഉദ്യോഗത്തിലാക്കിയതു.
All these chosen to be doorkeepers at the thresholds were two hundred and twelve. These were registered by genealogy according to their villages: David and Samuel the seer had instituted them in their trust.
23 ഇങ്ങനെ അവരും അവരുടെ പുത്രന്മാരും കൂടാരനിവാസമായ യഹോവാലയത്തിന്റെ വാതിലുകൾക്കു കാവൽമുറപ്രകാരം കാവല്ക്കാരായിരുന്നു.
And they and their sons were at the gates of the house of Jehovah, the house of the tent, to keep watch there.
24 കിഴക്കും പടിഞ്ഞാറും വടക്കും തെക്കും ഇങ്ങനെ നാലുവശത്തും കാവല്ക്കാരുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
At the four quarters were the doorkeepers, toward the east, west, north, and south.
25 ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിലെ അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാർ ഏഴാം ദിവസംതോറും മാറി മാറി വന്നു അവരോടുകൂടെ ഊഴക്കാരായിരുന്നു.
And their brethren, in their villages, were to come after [every] seven days from time to time with them.
26 വാതിൽകാവല്ക്കാരിൽ പ്രധാനികളായ ഈ നാലും ലേവ്യരും ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരായി ദൈവാലയത്തിലെ അറകൾക്കും ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിന്നും മേൽവിചാരം നടത്തി.
For in their trust these four were the chief doorkeepers: they were Levites; and they were over the chambers and over the treasuries of the house of God;
27 കാവലും രാവിലെതോറും വാതിൽ തുറക്കുന്ന മുറയും അവൎക്കുള്ളതുകൊണ്ടു അവർ ദൈവാലയത്തിന്റെ ചുറ്റും രാപാൎത്തുവന്നു.
for they stayed round about the house of God during the night, because the charge was upon them, and the opening thereof every morning [pertained] to them.
28 അവരിൽ ചിലൎക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷെക്കുള്ള ഉപകരണങ്ങളുടെ വിചാരണ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവയെ എണ്ണീട്ടു അകത്തു കൊണ്ടുപോയും പുറത്തു കൊണ്ടുവരികയും ചെയ്യും.
And [part] of them had the charge of the instruments of service, for by number they brought them in and by number they brought them out.
29 അവരിൽ ചിലരെ ഉപകരണങ്ങൾക്കും സകലവിശുദ്ധപാത്രങ്ങൾക്കും മാവു, വീഞ്ഞു, കുന്തുരുക്കം, സുഗന്ധവൎഗ്ഗം എന്നിവെക്കും മേൽവിചാരകരായി നിയമിച്ചിരുന്നു.
[Part] of them also were appointed over the vessels, and over all the holy instruments, and over the fine flour, and the wine, and the oil, and the frankincense, and the spices.
30 പുരോഹിതപുത്രന്മാരിൽ ചിലർ സുഗന്ധതൈലം ഉണ്ടാക്കും.
And it was [some one] of the sons of the priests who compounded the ointment of the spices.
31 ലേവ്യരിൽ ഒരുത്തനായി കോരഹ്യനായ ശല്ലൂമിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതൻ മത്ഥിഥ്യാവിന്നു ചട്ടികളിൽ ചുട്ടുണ്ടാക്കിയ സാധനങ്ങളുടെ മേൽവിചാരണ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
And Mattithiah of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, was in trust over the things that were made in the pans.
32 കെഹാത്യരായ അവരുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരിൽ ചിലൎക്കു ശബ്ബത്തുതോറും കാഴ്ചയപ്പം ഒരുക്കുവാനുള്ള ചുമതല ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
And [some] of the sons of the Kohathites, their brethren, were over the loaves to be set in rows, to prepare them every sabbath.
33 ലേവ്യരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങളിൽ പ്രധാനന്മാരായ ഇവർ സംഗീതക്കാരായി ആഗാരങ്ങളിൽ പാൎത്തിരുന്നു. അവർ രാവും പകലും തങ്ങളുടെ വേലയിൽ ഭാരപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു മറ്റു ശുശ്രൂഷകളിൽനിന്നു ഒഴിവുള്ളവരായിരുന്നു.
And these were the singers, chief fathers of the Levites, [who were] in the chambers free from service; for they were employed day and night.
34 ഈ പ്രധാനികൾ ലേവ്യരുടെ പിതൃഭവനങ്ങൾക്കു തലമുറതലമുറയായി തലവന്മാരായിരുന്നു; അവർ യെരൂശലേമിൽ പാൎത്തുവന്നു.
These are the chief fathers of the Levites, heads according to their families; these dwelt in Jerusalem.
35 ഗിബെയോനിൽ ഗിബെയോന്റെ പിതാവായ യെയീയേലും--അവന്റെ ഭാൎയ്യക്കു മയഖാ എന്നു പേർ--
And at Gibeon dwelt the father of Gibeon, Jeiel, and his wife's name was Maachah.
36 അവന്റെ മൂത്തമകൻ അബ്ദോൻ, സൂർ, കീശ്, ബാൽ, നേർ,
And his son, the firstborn, was Abdon, and Zur, and Kish, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,
37 നാദാബ്, ഗെദോർ, അഹ്യോ, സെഖൎയ്യാവു, മിക്ലോത്ത് എന്നിവരും പാൎത്തു.
and Gedor, and Ahio, and Zechariah, and Mikloth;
38 മിക്ലോത്ത് ശിമെയാമിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരോടുകൂടെ യെരൂശലേമിൽ തങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാൎക്കു എതിരെ പാൎത്തു.
and Mikloth begot Shimeam. And they also dwelt beside their brethren in Jerusalem, with their brethren.
39 നേർ കീശിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; കീശ് ശൌലിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ശൌൽ യോനാഥാനെയും മല്ക്കീശൂവയെയും അബീനാദാബിനെയും എശ്-ബാലിനെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
And Ner begot Kish; and Kish begot Saul; and Saul begot Jonathan, and Malchishua, and Abinadab, and Esh-baal.
40 യോനാഥാന്റെ മകൻ മെരീബ്ബാൽ; മെരീബ്ബാൽ മീഖയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
And the son of Jonathan was Merib-Baal; and Merib-Baal begot Micah.
41 മീഖയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: പീഥോൻ, മേലെക്, തഹ്രേയ, ആഹാസ്.
And the sons of Micah: Pithon, and Melech, and Tahrea.
42 ആഹാസ് യാരയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; യാരാ അലേമെത്തിനെയും അസ്മാവെത്തിനെയും സിമ്രിയെയും ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; സിമ്രി മോസയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു;
And Ahaz begot Jarah: and Jarah begot Alemeth, and Azmaveth, and Zimri; and Zimri begot Moza;
43 മോസ ബിനെയയെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; അവന്റെ മകൻ രെഫയാവു; അവന്റെ മകൻ എലാസാ; അവന്റെ മകൻ ആസേൽ.
and Moza begot Binea; and Rephaiah his son, Eleasah his son, Azel his son.
44 ആസേലിന്നു ആറു മക്കൾ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; അവരുടെ പേരുകൾ: അസ്രീക്കാം, ബെക്രൂ, യിശ്മായേൽ, ശെയൎയ്യാവു, ഓബദ്യാവു, ഹാനാൻ; ഇവർ ആസേലിന്റെ മക്കൾ.
And Azel had six sons, and these are their names: Azrikam, Bochru, and Ishmael, and Sheariah, and Obadiah, and Hanan; these were the sons of Azel.
