സെഖര്യാവ് 9

1 ഒരു പ്രവചനം: യഹോവയുടെ വചനം ഹദ്രക്കുദേശത്തിനു വിരോധമായിരിക്കുന്നു, അത് ദമസ്കോസിൽനിന്നു വന്നുപതിക്കും— സകലമനുഷ്യരുടെയും ഇസ്രായേൽഗോത്രങ്ങളുടെയും ദൃഷ്ടി യഹോവയുടെമേൽ ആകുന്നു—

The oracle of the word of Yahweh on the land of Hadrach, and, Damascus, shall be the resting-place thereof, —For, Yahweh, hath an eye—to mankind, and to all the tribes of Israel;

2 ദമസ്കോസിന്റെ അതിരിനടുത്തുള്ള ഹമാത്തിന്മേലും അത് ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കും, വളരെ സമർഥരെങ്കിലും, സോരിനും സീദോനും അങ്ങനെതന്നെ.

Moreover also, Hamath, adjoineth thereto, Tyre and Zidon, —because very wise;

3 സോർ ഒരു സുരക്ഷിതകേന്ദ്രം പണിതിരിക്കുന്നു; അവൾ ചെളിപോലെ വെള്ളിയും തെരുവീഥികളിലെ പൊടിപോലെ സ്വർണവും വാരിക്കൂട്ടിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Therefore did Tyre build a stronghold for herself, —and did heap up silver like dust, yea gold, like the mire of the lanes.

4 എന്നാൽ കർത്താവ് അവളുടെ സമ്പത്ത് എടുത്തുകളയും അവളുടെ കെട്ടുറപ്പുള്ള കോട്ടകൾ കടലിലിട്ടു നശിപ്പിക്കും അവൾ അഗ്നിയാൽ ദഹിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടും.

Lo! My Lord, shall dispossess her, and smite, into the sea, her fortress, —and, she herself, in fire, shall be consumed.

5 അസ്കലോൻ അതുകണ്ടു ഭയപ്പെടും; ഗസ്സാ വേദനകൊണ്ടു പുളയും തന്റെ പ്രത്യാശ നഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് എക്രോനും. ഗസ്സായ്ക്കു രാജാവ് നഷ്ടമാകും അസ്കലോൻ ജനവാസം ഇല്ലാത്തതായിത്തീരും.

Ashkelon, shall see, and fear, Gaza, also, which shall writhe in great anguish, Ekron, also, because abashed is her expectation, —and the king, shall perish, from Gaza, and, Ashkelon, not be inhabited;

6 സമ്മിശ്രജനത അശ്ദോദ് കൈവശമാക്കും ഫെലിസ്ത്യരുടെ അഹങ്കാരം ഞാൻ അവസാനിപ്പിക്കും.

And there shall be seated a half-breed in Ashdod, —So will I cut off the arrogance of the Philistines;

7 ഞാൻ, അവരുടെ വായിൽനിന്നു രക്തവും അവരുടെ പല്ലുകൾക്കിടയിൽനിന്നു വിലക്കപ്പെട്ട ആഹാരവും എടുത്തുകളയും. ഫെലിസ്ത്യരിൽ ശേഷിക്കുന്നവരും നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന് അവകാശപ്പെട്ടവരാകും. അവർ യെഹൂദയിലെ ഒരു കുലംപോലെ ആയിത്തീരും, എക്രോൻ യെബൂസ്യരെപ്പോലെയും ആകും.

And will take away his reeking prey out of his mouth, and his abominations, from between his teeth, but, he that is left, even he, shall belong to our God, —So shall he become as a chief in Judah, and, Ekron, as a Jebusite!

8 എന്നാൽ കൊള്ളക്കാരിൽനിന്ന് ഞാൻ എന്റെ ആലയത്തെ കാക്കുന്നതിന് അതിനുചുറ്റും പാളയമിറങ്ങും. ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ കാവൽചെയ്യുന്നതുകൊണ്ട്, ഒരു പീഡകനും എന്റെ ജനത്തെ കീഴ്‌മേൽ മറിക്കുകയില്ല.

Then will I encamp about my house—against an army, against him that passeth by, and against him that returneth, neither shall an exactor, tread them down any more, —for, now, have I seen with mine own eyes.

9 സീയോൻപുത്രീ, ഉച്ചത്തിൽ ഘോഷിച്ചാനന്ദിക്കുക! ജെറുശലേംപുത്രീ, ആർപ്പിടുക! ഇതാ, നിന്റെ രാജാവ് നിന്റെ അടുത്തേക്കു വരുന്നു— നീതിമാനും വിജയശ്രീലാളിതനും സൗമ്യതയുള്ളവനുമായി, കഴുതപ്പുറത്തുകയറി, പെൺകഴുതയുടെ കുട്ടിയായ ചെറുകഴുതപ്പുറത്തുകയറി വരുന്നു!

Exult greatly, O daughter of Zion, Shout in triumph, O daughter of Jerusalem, Lo! thy king, cometh unto thee, vindicated and victorious, is he, —lowly, and riding upon an ass, yea, upon a colt, a young ass.

10 ഞാൻ എഫ്രയീമിൽനിന്നു രഥങ്ങളെയും ജെറുശലേമിൽനിന്നു യുദ്ധക്കുതിരകളെയും എടുത്തുകളയും, യുദ്ധത്തിനുള്ള വില്ല് ഒടിച്ചുകളയും. അവിടന്ന് രാജ്യങ്ങൾക്ക് സമാധാനം പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കും. അവിടത്തെ ആധിപത്യം സമുദ്രംമുതൽ സമുദ്രംവരെയും നദിമുതൽ ഭൂമിയുടെ അറ്റത്തോളവും ആയിരിക്കും.

So will he cut off the chariot out of Ephraim, and the horse out of Jerusalem, and the war-bow, shall be cut off, So shall he speak peace to the nations, and, his dominion, shall be from sea to sea, and from the river [Euphrates] to the ends of the earth.

11 നീയോ, നിന്നോടുള്ള എന്റെ ഉടമ്പടിയുടെ രക്തംമൂലം ഞാൻ നിന്റെ ബന്ധിതരെ വെള്ളമില്ലാത്ത കുഴികളിൽനിന്നു മോചിപ്പിക്കും.

As for thee also, —By the blood of thy covenant, have I sent forth thy prisoners out of a pit, wherein is no water.

12 പ്രത്യാശയുള്ള ബന്ധിതരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ കോട്ടയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോകുവിൻ; നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ഇരട്ടിയായി മടക്കിത്തരുമെന്ന് ഞാൻ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുന്നു.

Return to the stronghold, ye prisoners of hope, —Even to-day, do I declare—Double, will I return to thee!

13 ഞാൻ എന്റെ വില്ല് കുലയ്ക്കുന്നതുപോലെ യെഹൂദയെ വളയ്ക്കും, എഫ്രയീമിനെ ഞാൻ അസ്ത്രംകൊണ്ടു നിറച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു. സീയോനേ, ഞാൻ നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരെ ഉണർത്തി ഒരു യുദ്ധവീരന്റെ വാൾപോലെയാക്കും; ഗ്രീക്കുദേശമേ, നിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർക്കെതിരേതന്നെ.

For I have bent for me—Judah, As a bow, have I grasped Ephraim, Thus will I rouse up thy sons, O Zion, against the sons of Greece, and will make thee as the sword of a mighty one.

14 അപ്പോൾ അവരുടെമേൽ യഹോവ പ്രത്യക്ഷനാകും; അവിടത്തെ അമ്പ് മിന്നൽപ്പിണർപോലെ ചീറിപ്പായും. യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് കാഹളംധ്വനിപ്പിക്കും; അവിടന്ന് തെക്കൻകാറ്റുകളിൽ മുന്നേറും.

But, Yahweh, over them, will appear, and forth shall go, as lightning, his arrow, —Yea, My Lord Yahweh, with a horn, will blow, and will move along in the whirlwinds of the south.

15 സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അവരെ സംരക്ഷിക്കും. അവർ കവിണക്കല്ലുകളാൽ വിനാശംവരുത്തി വിജയംനേടും; അവർ കുടിക്കും, മദ്യപരെപ്പോലെ അട്ടഹസിക്കും. അവർ യാഗപീഠത്തിന്റെ കോണുകളിൽ തളിക്കാനുള്ള നിറഞ്ഞ പാത്രംപോലെ ആയിരിക്കും.

Yahweh of hosts, will throw a covering over them, so shall they eat, and trample underfoot sling-stones, and shall drink—shall shout as with wine, —and shall be filled like tossing-bowls, —like the corners of an altar.

16 ഇടയൻ തന്റെ ആട്ടിൻകൂട്ടത്തെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ ആ ദിവസം അവരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ സംരക്ഷിക്കും. ഒരു കിരീടത്തിൽ രത്നങ്ങൾപോലെ അവർ അവിടത്തെ ദേശത്തു മിന്നിത്തിളങ്ങും.

So will Yahweh their God, save them, on that day. yea, as a flock of sheep, his people, —for [they shall be like] the jewels of a diadem sparkling over his land.

17 അവർ എത്ര ആകർഷണീയരും സൗന്ദര്യപൂർണരും ആയിരിക്കും! ധാന്യം യുവാക്കന്മാരെയും പുതുവീഞ്ഞ് യുവതികളെയും പുഷ്ടിയുള്ളവരാക്കും.

For how excellent it is! Yea how beautiful! Corn, shall make the young men flourish, and new wine the maidens.
