വെളിപാട് 1
1 യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ വെളിപ്പാട്. വേഗത്തിൽ സംഭവിക്കാനിരിക്കുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങൾ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെ ദാസർക്കു കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുന്നതിനായി ദൈവം അത് യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന് നൽകി. അവിടന്ന് ഒരു ദൂതനെ അയച്ച് അവിടത്തെ ദാസനായ യോഹന്നാന് അതു വെളിപ്പെടുത്തി.
Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him, to shew to his bondmen what must shortly take place; and he signified [it], sending by his angel, to his bondman John,
2 അദ്ദേഹം ദൈവവചനത്തിന്റെയും യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന്റെയും സാക്ഷ്യത്തിനായി താൻ കണ്ടതെല്ലാം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
who testified the word of God, and the testimony of Jesus Christ, all things that he saw.
3 സമയം അടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ, ഈ പ്രവചനപുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്ന വാക്കുകൾ വായിച്ചുകേൾപ്പിക്കുന്നവരും കേൾക്കുന്നവരും അവ അനുസരിക്കുന്നവരും അനുഗൃഹീതർ.
Blessed [is] he that reads, and they that hear the words of the prophecy, and keep the things written in it; for the time [is] near.
4 യോഹന്നാൻ, ഏഷ്യാപ്രവിശ്യയിലെ ഏഴു സഭകൾക്ക് എഴുതുന്നത്: ഭൂത, വർത്തമാന, ഭാവി കാലങ്ങളിൽ ഒരുപോലെ നിലനിൽക്കുന്നവനായ ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നും അവിടത്തെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിലുള്ള ഏഴ് ആത്മാക്കളിൽനിന്നും
John to the seven assemblies which [are] in Asia: Grace to you and peace from [him] who is, and who was, and who is to come; and from the seven Spirits which [are] before his throne;
5 വിശ്വസ്തസാക്ഷിയും മരിച്ചവരുടെ ഇടയിൽനിന്ന് ആദ്യം ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റവനും ഭൂമിയിലെ രാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ അധിപനുമായ യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിൽനിന്ന് നിങ്ങൾക്കു കൃപയും സമാധാനവും ഉണ്ടാകുമാറാകട്ടെ.
and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us, and has washed us from our sins in his blood,
6 നമ്മെ സ്നേഹിച്ച് സ്വന്തം രക്തത്താൽ, നമ്മുടെ പാപങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് നമ്മെ വിടുവിച്ച് അവിടത്തെ ദൈവവും പിതാവുമായവനുവേണ്ടി നമ്മെ രാജ്യവും പുരോഹിതന്മാരുമാക്കിത്തീർത്ത യേശുക്രിസ്തുവിന് എന്നെന്നേക്കും മഹത്ത്വവും ആധിപത്യവും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കട്ടെ! ആമേൻ. (aiōn g165)
and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father: to him [be] the glory and the might to the ages of ages. Amen. (aiōn g165)
7 “ഇതാ, അവിടന്നു മേഘങ്ങളിലേറി വരുന്നു,” “എല്ലാ കണ്ണുകളും—തന്നെ കുത്തിത്തുളച്ചവർപോലും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ കാണും.” ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലഗോത്രങ്ങളും “അദ്ദേഹത്തെക്കുറിച്ചു വിലപിക്കും.”
Behold, he comes with the clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they which have pierced him, and all the tribes of the land shall wail because of him. Yea. Amen.
8 “ഞാൻ ആൽഫയും ഒമേഗയും ആകുന്നു,” എന്ന് ഭൂത, വർത്തമാന, ഭാവി കാലങ്ങളിൽ ഒരുപോലെ നിലനിൽക്കുന്നവനായ, സർവശക്തിയുള്ള ദൈവമായ കർത്താവ് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.
I am the Alpha and the Omega, saith [the] Lord God, he who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.
9 നിങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരനും യേശുവിന്റെ രാജ്യത്തിലും കഷ്ടതയിലും സഹിഷ്ണുതയിലും നിങ്ങളുടെ പങ്കാളിയുമായ യോഹന്നാൻ എന്ന ഞാൻ, ദൈവവചനവും യേശുവിന്റെ സാക്ഷ്യവും നിമിത്തം “പത്മൊസ്” എന്നു വിളിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന ദ്വീപിൽ ആയിരുന്നു.
I John, your brother and fellow-partaker in the tribulation and kingdom and patience, in Jesus, was in the island called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus.
10 കർത്തൃദിവസത്തിൽ ഞാൻ ആത്മാവിലായി. “നീ കാണുന്നത് ഒരു പുസ്തകത്തിൽ എഴുതി, എഫേസോസ്, സ്മുർന്ന, പെർഗമൊസ്, തുയഥൈര, സർദിസ്, ഫിലദെൽഫിയ, ലവൊദിക്യ എന്നീ ഏഴു സഭകൾക്ക് അയച്ചുകൊടുക്കുക,”
I became in [the] Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a great voice as of a trumpet,
11 എന്നിങ്ങനെ കാഹളതുല്യമായ ഒരു വലിയശബ്ദം എന്റെ പിന്നിൽ ഞാൻ കേട്ടു.
saying, What thou seest write in a book, and send to the seven assemblies: to Ephesus, and to Smyrna, and to Pergamos, and to Thyatira, and to Sardis, and to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.
12 എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ച ശബ്ദം എന്തെന്നു കാണാൻ ഞാൻ തിരിഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോൾ തങ്കംകൊണ്ടുള്ള ഏഴു നിലവിളക്കും
And I turned back to see the voice which spoke with me; and having turned, I saw seven golden lamps,
13 അവയുടെ നടുവിൽ പാദംവരെ എത്തുന്ന വസ്ത്രംധരിച്ച്, മാറിൽ തങ്കക്കച്ചകെട്ടി മനുഷ്യപുത്രനു സദൃശനായ ഒരു ആളിനെയും കണ്ടു.
and in the midst of the [seven] lamps [one] like [the] Son of man, clothed with a garment reaching to the feet, and girt about at the breasts with a golden girdle:
14 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ തലയിലെ മുടി കമ്പിളിപോലെയും ഹിമംപോലെയും അതിശുഭ്രവും കണ്ണുകൾ അഗ്നിജ്വാലയ്ക്കും
his head and hair white like white wool, as snow; and his eyes as a flame of fire;
15 കാലുകൾ ഉലയിൽ കാച്ചിപ്പഴുപ്പിച്ച വെള്ളോടിനുതുല്യവും ശബ്ദം വലിയ വെള്ളച്ചാട്ടത്തിന്റെ ഇരമ്പലിനുതുല്യവും ആയിരുന്നു.
and his feet like fine brass, as burning in a furnace; and his voice as the voice of many waters;
16 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വലതുകൈയിൽ ഏഴു നക്ഷത്രം പിടിച്ചിരുന്നു. വായിൽനിന്ന് മൂർച്ചയേറിയ ഇരുവായ്ത്തലയുള്ള വാൾ പുറപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മുഖം സൂര്യതേജസ്സോടെ പ്രശോഭിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു.
and having in his right hand seven stars; and out of his mouth a sharp two-edged sword going forth; and his countenance as the sun shines in its power.
17 അദ്ദേഹത്തെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ മരിച്ചവനെപ്പോലെ ആ പാദങ്ങളിൽ വീണു. അവിടന്ന് എന്റെമേൽ വലതുകൈവെച്ചുകൊണ്ട് എന്നോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തത്, “ഭയപ്പെടേണ്ട, ഞാൻ ആകുന്നു ആദ്യനും അന്ത്യനും
And when I saw him I fell at his feet as dead; and he laid his right hand upon me, saying, Fear not; I am the first and the last,
19 “ആകയാൽ ഇപ്പോഴുള്ളതും ഇനി സംഭവിക്കാനിരിക്കുന്നതുമായ നീ ദർശിച്ചകാര്യങ്ങൾ എഴുതുക.
Write therefore what thou hast seen, and the things that are, and the things that are about to be after these.
20 എന്റെ വലതുകൈയിൽ കണ്ട ഏഴു നക്ഷത്രത്തിന്റെയും ഏഴു തങ്കനിലവിളക്കിന്റെയും രഹസ്യം ഇതാകുന്നു: ഏഴു നക്ഷത്രം ഏഴു സഭയുടെ ദൂതന്മാരും, ഏഴു നിലവിളക്ക് ഏഴു സഭയുമാണ്.
The mystery of the seven stars which thou hast seen on my right hand, and the seven golden lamps. — The seven stars are angels of the seven assemblies; and the seven lamps are seven assemblies.
