വെളിപാട് 5

1 ഞാൻ സിംഹാസനസ്ഥന്റെ വലതുകൈയിൽ, അകത്തും പുറത്തും എഴുത്തുള്ളതും ഏഴു മുദ്രപതിച്ചതുമായ ഒരു പുസ്തകച്ചുരുൾ കണ്ടു.

Then I saw lying upon the right hand of Him who sat upon the throne, a book written within and on the back, close sealed with seven seals.

2 “പുസ്തകച്ചുരുൾ തുറക്കാനും മുദ്രകൾ പൊട്ടിക്കാനും ആരാണു യോഗ്യൻ?” എന്ന് ഉച്ചത്തിൽ വിളിച്ചുചോദിക്കുന്ന ശക്തനായൊരു ദൂതനെയും ഞാൻ കണ്ടു.

And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose its seals."

3 എന്നാൽ പുസ്തകച്ചുരുൾ തുറക്കാനോ അതു വായിക്കാനോ സ്വർഗത്തിലും ഭൂമിയിലും ഭൂമിക്കു താഴെയും ഒരാൾക്കും കഴിയുമായിരുന്നില്ല.

And no one in the heavens or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to open the book, or to look into it.

4 ചുരുൾ തുറക്കാനോ അതു വായിക്കാനോ യോഗ്യനായി ആരെയും കാണാതിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ വളരെ കരഞ്ഞു.

so I began to weep bitterly because no one was found worthy to open the book, or to look into it.

5 അപ്പോൾ മുഖ്യന്മാരിൽ ഒരാൾ എന്നോട്; “കരയേണ്ട, യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തിലെ സിംഹവും ദാവീദിന്റെ സിംഹാസനാവകാശിയും ആയവൻ ഇതാ വിജയിയായിരിക്കുന്നു. പുസ്തകവും ചുരുളും അതിന്റെ ഏഴു മുദ്രയും തുറക്കാൻ അവിടന്നു യോഗ്യൻ” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

But one of the Elders said to me. "Do not weep! Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, and so can open the book with its seven seals."

6 സിംഹാസനത്തിനും നാലു ജീവികൾക്കും മുഖ്യന്മാർക്കും മധ്യത്തിൽ ഒരു കുഞ്ഞാട് അറക്കപ്പെട്ടതുപോലെ നിൽക്കുന്നതു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു. ആ കുഞ്ഞാടിന്, ഭൂമിയിലെല്ലായിടത്തേക്കും അയയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ട ദൈവാത്മാക്കളായ ഏഴു കൊമ്പും ഏഴു കണ്ണും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.

Then I beheld a Lamb standing as if slain in the midst of the throne and of the four Living Creatures, and in the midst of the Elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes (which are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth).

7 കുഞ്ഞാട് വന്ന് സിംഹാസനസ്ഥന്റെ വലതുകൈയിൽനിന്ന് ചുരുൾ വാങ്ങി.

And he went, and now he has taken the book out of the right hand of Him who was seated on the throne.

8 വാങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ നാലു ജീവികളും ഇരുപത്തിനാലു മുഖ്യന്മാരും കുഞ്ഞാടിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ വീണുപ്രണമിച്ചു. ഓരോരുത്തരും ഓരോ വീണയും അവർ വിശുദ്ധരുടെ പ്രാർഥനകൾ എന്ന ധൂപവർഗം നിറച്ച തങ്കക്കലശങ്ങളും പിടിച്ചിരുന്നു.

When he took the book, the four Living Creatures and the four and twenty Elders fell down before the Lamb. And each had a harp and a golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

9 അവർ പുതിയൊരു കീർത്തനം ആലപിച്ചു: “അങ്ങ് (യാഗമൃഗമെന്നപോലെ) അറക്കപ്പെടുകയും അവിടത്തെ രക്തത്താൽ സകലഗോത്രങ്ങളിലും ഭാഷകളിലും ജനവിഭാഗങ്ങളിലും രാജ്യങ്ങളിലുംനിന്നുള്ളവരെ ദൈവത്തിനായി വിലയ്ക്കു വാങ്ങിയിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

And they sang a new song, saying, "Worthy art thou to take the book And to open its seals; For thou wast slain and didst ransom for God Men out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation;

10 ഭൂമിയിൽ വാഴേണ്ടതിനായി അവരെ നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിനു രാജ്യവും പുരോഹിതരും ആക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ആകയാൽ ചുരുൾ വാങ്ങാനും മുദ്രകൾ തുറക്കാനും അങ്ങ് യോഗ്യൻതന്നെ.”

Thou hast made them kings and priests unto our God, And they shall reign on earth."

11 ഞാൻ ദർശനത്തിൽ, സിംഹാസനത്തിനും ജീവികൾക്കും മുഖ്യന്മാർക്കു ചുറ്റിലുമായി അസംഖ്യം ദൂതന്മാരുടെ ശബ്ദം കേട്ടു. അവരുടെ എണ്ണം ആയിരം ആയിരവും പതിനായിരം പതിനായിരവും ആയിരുന്നു.

Then I looked and heard a voice of many angels encircling the throne and a voice of the Living Creatures and of the Elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands,

12 അവർ അത്യുച്ചശബ്ദത്തിൽ: “അറക്കപ്പെട്ട കുഞ്ഞാട്, ശക്തിയും ധനവും ജ്ഞാനവും ബലവും ബഹുമാനവും മഹത്ത്വവും സ്തുതിയും സ്വീകരിക്കാൻ യോഗ്യൻ!” എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

singing aloud, "Worthy is the Lamb who has been slain, To receive power and riches and wisdom And might and honor and glory and blessing."

13 അപ്പോൾ സ്വർഗത്തിലും ഭൂമിയിലും ഭൂമിക്കു താഴെയും സമുദ്രത്തിലുമുള്ള സകലജീവികളും, “സിംഹാസനസ്ഥനും കുഞ്ഞാടിനും സ്തുതിയും ബഹുമാനവും മഹത്ത്വവും ആധിപത്യവും, എന്നും എന്നെന്നേക്കും ഉണ്ടാകുമാറാകട്ടെ!” എന്നു പറയുന്നതു ഞാൻ കേട്ടു. (aiōn g165)

And I heard every created thing that is in heaven, or on earth, or beneath the earth, or on the sea, and all things that are in them, saying, "To him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, Be the blessing and the honor, And the glory and the power, Forever and ever!" (aiōn g165)

14 നാലു ജീവികളും ആമേൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; മുഖ്യന്മാർ സാഷ്ടാംഗം വീണ് ആരാധിച്ചു.

And the four Living Creatures kept saying, "Amen!" And the Elders fell down and worshiped.
