വെളിപാട് 21
1 പിന്നീട് “ഞാൻ ഒരു പുതിയ ആകാശവും ഒരു പുതിയ ഭൂമിയും” കണ്ടു. ആദ്യത്തെ ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും നീങ്ങിപ്പോയി. ഇനിമേൽ സമുദ്രം ഇല്ല.
AND I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 മണവാളനുവേണ്ടി അണിയിച്ചൊരുക്കപ്പെട്ട മണവാട്ടിയെപ്പോലെ പുതിയ ജെറുശലേം എന്ന വിശുദ്ധനഗരം സ്വർഗത്തിൽനിന്ന്, അതേ ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നുതന്നെ ഇറങ്ങിവരുന്നതു ഞാൻ കണ്ടു.
And I John saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, descending from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 അപ്പോൾ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽനിന്ന് അത്യുച്ചത്തിലുള്ള ഒരു ശബ്ദം ഞാൻ കേട്ടു: “ഇതാ, മനുഷ്യരോടുകൂടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ തിരുനിവാസം; അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ വസിക്കും. അവർ അവിടത്തെ സ്വന്തം ജനമായിരിക്കും. ദൈവംതന്നെ അവരോടുകൂടെയിരുന്ന് അവരുടെ സ്വന്തം ദൈവമായിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, Behold the tabernacle of God is with men, and he shall pitch his tent with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, their own God.
4 അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ കണ്ണുകളിൽനിന്ന് കണ്ണുനീരെല്ലാം തുടച്ചുകളയും; ഇനിമേലാൽ മരണമോ വിലാപമോ രോദനമോ വേദനയോ ഉണ്ടാകില്ല; പഴയതെല്ലാം നീങ്ങിപ്പോയല്ലോ!”
And God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more; nor shall mourning, nor crying, nor toil be any more: because the former things are passed away.
5 സിംഹാസനസ്ഥൻ എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞത്: “ഇതാ, ഞാൻ സകലത്തെയും പുതിയതാക്കുന്നു.” അവിടന്ന് എന്നോടു തുടർന്ന് കൽപ്പിച്ചത്, “ഈ വചനങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസനീയവും സത്യസന്ധവുമാകുകയാൽ ഇവ എഴുതുക.”
And he that sat upon the throne said, Lo! I make all things new: and he said unto me, Write that these sayings are true and faithful.
6 അവിടന്ന് പിന്നെയും എന്നോട് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തത്: “പര്യവസാനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു! ഞാൻ ആൽഫയും ഒമേഗയും—ആരംഭവും അവസാനവും—ആകുന്നു. ദാഹമുള്ളയാൾക്ക് ഞാൻ ജീവജലത്തിന്റെ ഉറവിൽനിന്ന് സൗജന്യമായി കുടിക്കാൻ നൽകും.
And he said to me, It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end; I will give to him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 വിജയിക്കുന്നവർ ഇവയ്ക്കെല്ലാം അവകാശിയാകും. ഞാൻ അവർക്ക് ദൈവവും അവർ എനിക്കു പുത്രരും ആയിരിക്കും.
He that overcometh shall inherit all things, and I will be to him a God, and he shall be to me a son.
8 എന്നാൽ ഭീരുക്കൾ, വിശ്വാസത്യാഗികൾ, നികൃഷ്ടർ, കൊലപാതകികൾ, വ്യഭിചാരികൾ, ദുർമന്ത്രവാദികൾ, വിഗ്രഹാരാധകർ, വ്യാജംപറയുന്നവർ, ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ളവരെല്ലാം രണ്ടാമത്തെ മരണമായ ഗന്ധകം കത്തിയെരിയുന്ന തീപ്പൊയ്കയ്ക്കാണ് അവകാശികളാകുന്നത്.” (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
But to those who shrink back through fear, and to the infidels, and to the abominable, and to murderers, and to whoremongers, and to those who use magical incantations, and to idolaters, and to all liars, is their portion appointed in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone; which is the second death. 9 അന്ത്യബാധകൾ ഏഴും നിറഞ്ഞ ഏഴു കുംഭങ്ങൾ കൈവശമുള്ള ഏഴു ദൂതന്മാരിൽ ഒരുവൻ വന്ന് എന്നോടു പറഞ്ഞത്: “വരിക, കുഞ്ഞാടിന്റെ പത്നിയായിത്തീരേണ്ട മണവാട്ടിയെ ഞാൻ കാണിച്ചുതരാം.”
And there came to me one of the seven angels who held the seven vases full of the seven last plagues, and he talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
10 പിന്നെ അയാൾ എന്നെ ആത്മാവിൽ വലുപ്പമേറിയതും ഉന്നതവുമായ ഒരു പർവതത്തിലേക്കു കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോയി; സ്വർഗത്തിൽനിന്ന്, അതേ ദൈവത്തിൽനിന്നുതന്നെ ഇറങ്ങിവരുന്നതായ ജെറുശലേം എന്ന വിശുദ്ധനഗരം എനിക്കു കാണിച്ചുതന്നു.
And he bore me away in spirit unto a great and exceeding high mountain, and shewed me the great city, the holy Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
11 ദൈവികപ്രഭയിൽ അതു വെട്ടിത്തിളങ്ങിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. ആ പ്രഭ ഏറ്റവും വിലയേറിയ രത്നത്തിന്റേതുപോലെ—അച്ഛസ്ഫടികമായ സൂര്യകാന്തത്തിന്റേതുപോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.
having the glory of God: and her brilliance was like the most precious gem, as a jasper stone, transparent as crystal;
12 അതിന് ഉയർന്ന ഒരു വലിയ കോട്ടയും കോട്ടയ്ക്കു പന്ത്രണ്ട് കവാടങ്ങളും കവാടങ്ങളിൽ ഓരോന്നിലും കാവലായി ഓരോ ദൂതന്മാരും ഉണ്ട്. ഓരോ കവാടത്തിലും ഇസ്രായേൽഗോത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഓരോന്നിന്റെയും നാമം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
and she had a great wall and lofty, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names inscribed on them, which are those of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.
13 മൂന്നു കവാടങ്ങൾ കിഴക്കും മൂന്നു കവാടങ്ങൾ വടക്കും മൂന്നു കവാടങ്ങൾ തെക്കും മൂന്നു കവാടങ്ങൾ പടിഞ്ഞാറും ആയിരുന്നു.
From the east three gates; from the north three gates; from the south three gates; from the west three gates.
14 നഗരത്തിന്റെ കോട്ടമതിലിന് പന്ത്രണ്ട് അടിസ്ഥാനശിലകളും അവയിൽ ഓരോന്നിലും കുഞ്ഞാടിന്റെ പന്ത്രണ്ട് അപ്പൊസ്തലന്മാരിൽ ഓരോരുത്തരുടെ പേരും ഉണ്ട്.
And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 എന്നോടു സംസാരിച്ച ദൂതന്റെ കൈവശം നഗരവും അതിന്റെ കവാടങ്ങളും കോട്ടയും അളക്കുന്നതിനു തങ്കംകൊണ്ടുള്ള ഒരു ദണ്ഡ് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
And he that talked with me held a golden cane to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
16 സമചതുരമായിരുന്നു നഗരം; അതിന്റെ നീളവും വീതിയും തുല്യം. ദൂതൻ ദണ്ഡുകൊണ്ടു നഗരത്തെ അളന്നു. അതിന്റെ നീളം ഏകദേശം 2,200 കിലോമീറ്റർ; അതിന്റെ നീളവും വീതിയും ഉയരവും തുല്യമായിരുന്നു.
And the city is a quadrangle, and the breadth of it is just as much as the length of it; and he measured the city with the cane, twelve thousand furlongs: the breadth, and the length, and the height of it, are exactly proportioned.
17 പിന്നെ ദൂതൻ അതിന്റെ കോട്ട അളന്നു. ദൂതൻ അളക്കാൻ ഉപയോഗിച്ച ദണ്ഡ് മാനുഷികമാനദണ്ഡമനുസരിച്ച് അറുപത്തഞ്ച് മീറ്റർ ആയിരുന്നു.
He measured also the wall of it a hundred and forty-four cubits, according to the measure of a man, for such is that of an angel.
18 കോട്ട നിർമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് സൂര്യകാന്തക്കല്ലുകൊണ്ടും നഗരമാകട്ടെ, അച്ഛസ്ഫടികംപോലെയുള്ള തങ്കംകൊണ്ടുമായിരുന്നു.
The structure of the wall of it was jasper, and the city pure gold, like clear glass.
19 കോട്ടയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനശിലകൾ സർവവിധരത്നങ്ങളാൽ അലങ്കരിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ഒന്നാമത്തെ അടിസ്ഥാനശില സൂര്യകാന്തം, രണ്ടാമത്തേതു നീലരത്നം, മൂന്നാമത്തേതു വൈഡൂര്യം, നാലാമത്തേതു മരതകം,
And the foundations of the walls of the city were adorned with every precious stone: the first foundation a jasper; the second a sapphire; the third a chalcedony; the fourth an emerald;
20 അഞ്ചാമത്തേതു നഖവർണി, ആറാമത്തേതു ചെമപ്പുകല്ല്, ഏഴാമത്തേതു ചന്ദ്രകാന്തം, എട്ടാമത്തേതു ഗോമേദകം, ഒൻപതാമത്തേതു പുഷ്യരാഗം, പത്താമത്തേതു പവിഴം, പതിനൊന്നാമത്തേതു പത്മരാഗം, പന്ത്രണ്ടാമത്തേതു ശ്യാമളവൈഢൂര്യം.
the fifth a sardonyx; the sixth a sardius; the seventh a chrysolite; the eighth a beryl; the ninth a topaz; the tenth a chrysoprasus; the eleventh a jacinth; the twelfth an amethyst.
21 പന്ത്രണ്ട് കവാടങ്ങളാകട്ടെ, പന്ത്രണ്ട് മുത്തുകളായിരുന്നു; ഓരോ കവാടവും ഓരോ മുത്തുകൊണ്ടുള്ളതും നഗരത്തിന്റെ വീഥികൾ അച്ഛസ്ഫടികത്തിനു തുല്യമായ തങ്കവുമായിരുന്നു.
And the twelve gates were twelve several pearls; every one of the gates was of one pearl; and the street of the city was pure gold, as transparent glass.
22 നഗരത്തിൽ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരം കണ്ടില്ല; സർവശക്തിയുള്ള ദൈവമായ കർത്താവും കുഞ്ഞാടും അതിന്റെ മന്ദിരം ആയിരുന്നു.
And I saw no temple therein; for the Lord God Almighty is the temple thereof, even the Lamb.
23 നഗരത്തിൽ പ്രകാശിക്കേണ്ടതിനായി സൂര്യന്റെയോ ചന്ദ്രന്റെയോ ആവശ്യമില്ല; കാരണം, ദൈവതേജസ്സ് അതിനെ പ്രശോഭിതമാക്കിയിരുന്നു; കുഞ്ഞാട് അതിന്റെ വിളക്ക് ആകുന്നു.
And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon to shine upon it: for the glory of God illuminates it, and the Lamb is the lamp thereof.
24 ജനതകൾ അതിന്റെ പ്രകാശത്തിൽ നടക്കും; ഭൂമിയിലെ രാജാക്കന്മാർ അവരുടെ സർവപ്രതാപത്തോടുംകൂടെ അതിലേക്കു വന്നുചേരും.
And the nations of those that are saved shall walk about in the light thereof; and the kings of the earth shall bring their glory and their honour into it;
25 അതിന്റെ കവാടങ്ങൾ പകൽ ഒരിക്കലും അടയ്ക്കുകയില്ല; രാത്രി അവിടെ ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കുകയുമില്ല.
and her gates shall be never shut by day (for there is no night there);
26 ജനതകൾ അവരുടെ മഹത്ത്വത്തോടെയും ബഹുമാനത്തോടെയും അതിലേക്കു വരും.
and they shall bring the glory and the honour of the nations into it.
27 കുഞ്ഞാടിന്റെ ജീവപുസ്തകത്തിൽ പേരെഴുതപ്പെട്ടവരല്ലാതെ അശുദ്ധിയും മ്ലേച്ഛതയും വ്യാജവും പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ആർക്കും അതിൽ ഒരിക്കലും പ്രവേശനം ലഭിക്കുകയില്ല.
And there shall no more enter into it any thing unclean, or that practises abomination and lying; but only those who are written in the book of life of the Lamb.
