സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 95

1 വരുവിൻ, നമുക്ക് യഹോവയ്ക്കൊരു ആനന്ദഗീതമാലപിക്കാം; നമ്മുടെ രക്ഷയുടെ പാറയ്ക്ക് ഉച്ചത്തിൽ ആർപ്പിടാം.

Come, let vs reioyce vnto the Lord: let vs sing aloude vnto the rocke of our saluation.

2 സ്തോത്രാർപ്പണത്തോടെ നമുക്ക് അവിടത്തെ സന്നിധിയിൽ വന്നുചേരാം സംഗീതത്തോടും പാട്ടോടുംകൂടെ അവിടത്തെ പുകഴ്ത്താം.

Let vs come before his face with praise: let vs sing loude vnto him with Psalmes.

3 കാരണം യഹോവ മഹാദൈവം ആകുന്നു, എല്ലാ ദേവന്മാരിലും ഉന്നതനായ മഹാരാജാവുതന്നെ.

For the Lord is a great God, and a great King aboue all gods.

4 ഭൂമിയുടെ അഗാധതകൾ അവിടത്തെ കരങ്ങളിലാണ്, പർവതശിഖരങ്ങളും അവിടത്തേക്കുള്ളത്.

In whose hande are the deepe places of the earth, and the heightes of the mountaines are his:

5 സമുദ്രം അവിടത്തേക്കുള്ളത്, അവിടന്ന് അതിനെ നിർമിച്ചു, കരയെയും അവിടത്തെ കൈകൾ മെനഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

To whome the Sea belongeth: for hee made it, and his handes formed the dry land.

6 വരുവിൻ, നമുക്ക് വണങ്ങി ആരാധിക്കാം, നമ്മെ നിർമിച്ച യഹോവയുടെമുമ്പിൽ നമുക്കു മുട്ടുമടക്കാം.

Come, let vs worship and fall downe, and kneele before the Lord our maker.

7 കാരണം അവിടന്ന് നമ്മുടെ ദൈവം ആകുന്നു നാം അവിടത്തെ മേച്ചിൽപ്പുറത്തെ ജനവും അവിടത്തെ കരുതലിൻകീഴിലുള്ള ആടുകളുംതന്നെ. ഇന്നു നിങ്ങൾ ദൈവശബ്ദം കേൾക്കുന്നെങ്കിൽ,

For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheepe of his hande: to day, if ye will heare his voyce,

8 “മെരീബയിൽവെച്ചു ചെയ്തതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം കഠിനമാക്കരുത്, അന്ന് മരുഭൂമിയിലെ മസ്സായിൽവെച്ച് ചെയ്തതുപോലെതന്നെ.

Harden not your heart, as in Meribah, and as in the day of Massah in the wildernesse.

9 അവിടെവെച്ച് നിങ്ങളുടെ പൂർവികർ എന്നെ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു; എന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ കണ്ടിട്ടും അവർ എന്റെ ക്ഷമ പരീക്ഷിച്ചു.

Where your fathers tempted me, proued me, though they had seene my worke.

10 നാല്പതു വർഷക്കാലം ആ തലമുറയോട് എനിക്കു കോപമുണ്ടായി; ‘അവർ തെറ്റിപ്പോകുന്ന ഹൃദയമുള്ള ഒരു ജനത, എന്റെ നിർദേശങ്ങൾ പാലിക്കാൻ മനസ്സില്ലാത്തവർ,’ എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.

Fourtie yeeres haue I contended with this generation, and said, They are a people that erre in heart, for they haue not knowen my wayes.

11 അതുകൊണ്ട് ‘അവർ ഒരിക്കലും എന്റെ സ്വസ്ഥതയിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുകയില്ല,’ എന്നു ഞാൻ എന്റെ കോപത്തിൽ ശപഥംചെയ്തു.”

Wherefore I sware in my wrath, saying, Surely they shall not enter into my rest.
