സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 92
1 ശബ്ബത്ത് നാളിനുള്ള ഒരു ഗീതം; ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുന്നതും അത്യുന്നതനേ, അവിടത്തെ നാമത്തിന് പത്തുകമ്പിയുള്ള വീണയുടെയും കിന്നരത്തിന്റെ മധുരനാദത്തിന്റെയും അകമ്പടിയോടെ സംഗീതമാലപിക്കുന്നതും
A Melody, a Song, For the Sabbath-day. It is good to give thanks to Yahweh, And to sing praises unto thy Name, O Most High;
To declare, in the morning, thy lovingkindness, And thy faithfulness at night;
3 പ്രഭാതത്തിൽ അവിടത്തെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹവും രാത്രിയിൽ അവിടത്തെ വിശ്വസ്തതയും വർണിക്കുന്നതും വിശിഷ്ടമത്രേ.
Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon a harp, With resounding music on the lyre.
4 യഹോവേ, അവിടത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തികളാൽ അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ ആനന്ദിപ്പിക്കുന്നല്ലോ; തിരുക്കരങ്ങളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിനിമിത്തം ഞാൻ ആനന്ദഗീതം ആലപിക്കും.
For thou hast made me glad, O Yahweh, in thy doing, In the works of thy hands, will I shout for joy.
5 യഹോവേ, അവിടത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ എത്രയോ ഉന്നതം അവിടത്തെ ചിന്താഗതികൾ എത്രയോ ഗഹനം!
How great have grown thy works, Yahweh, [How] very deep are laid thy plans!
6 വിവേകഹീനനായ മനുഷ്യൻ അത് അറിയുന്നില്ല, ഭോഷർ അതു ഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല,
A man that is brutish, cannot know, And, a dullard, cannot discern this: —
7 ദുഷ്ടർ പുല്ലുപോലെ തഴച്ചുവളരുന്നതും അധർമികൾ അഭിവൃദ്ധിപ്രാപിക്കുന്നതും, എന്നേക്കും നശിച്ചുപോകേണ്ടതിനുതന്നെ.
When the lawless do thrive like grass, And all the workers of iniquity have blossomed, It is that they may be destroyed for ever.
8 എന്നാൽ യഹോവേ, അവിടന്ന് എന്നേക്കും ഉന്നതനായിരിക്കുന്നു.
But, thou, shalt be on high age-abidingly, O Yahweh.
9 യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ, അതേ, അങ്ങയുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ നശിച്ചുപോകും, നിശ്ചയം; എല്ലാ അധർമികളും ചിതറിക്കപ്പെടും.
For lo! thine enemies, Yahweh, For lo! thine enemies, shall perish, They shall be scattered—all the workers of iniquity;
10 എന്നാൽ അവിടന്ന് എന്റെ കൊമ്പ് കാട്ടുകാളയുടെ കൊമ്പുപോലെ ഉയർത്തി; പുതിയ തൈലം എന്റെമേൽ ഒഴിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
But thou wilt exalt, as [those of] the buffalo, my horn, I have been anointed, with fresh oil.
11 എന്റെ കണ്ണ് എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളുടെ പതനം കണ്ടു; എന്റെ കാത് ദുഷ്ടരായ എന്റെ എതിരാളികളുടെ പരാജയം കേട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
So hath mine eye descried them who were lying in wait for me, —Of my wicked assailants, mine ears, shall hear.
12 നീതിനിഷ്ഠർ ഒരു പനപോലെ തഴച്ചുവളരുന്നു, അവർ ലെബാനോനിലെ ദേവദാരുപോലെ വളരും;
The righteous, like the palm-tree, shall thrive, Like the cedar in Lebanon, shall he grow;
13 അവരെ യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ നട്ടുപിടിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു, നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയാങ്കണത്തിൽ അവർ തഴച്ചുവളരും.
They who are planted in the house of Yahweh, In the courts of our God, shall flourish;
14 അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ വാർധക്യത്തിലും ഫലം കായ്ച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും, അവർ നിത്യനൂതനരും നിത്യഹരിതരും ആയിരിക്കും,
Still shall they bear fruit in old age, Vigorous and fresh, shall they be:
15 “യഹോവ നീതിനിഷ്ഠനാകുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് ആകുന്നു എന്റെ പാറ, അനീതി അങ്ങയിൽ ലവലേശവുമില്ല!” എന്ന് അവർ ഘോഷിക്കും.
To declare that upright is Yahweh, My Rock, and no perversity in him.
