സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 91
1 അത്യുന്നതനെ ആശ്രയമാക്കി വസിക്കുന്നവർ സർവശക്തന്റെ തണലിൽ വിശ്രമിക്കും.
Who so dwelleth in the secrete of the most High, shall abide in the shadowe of the Almightie.
2 ഞാൻ യഹോവയെക്കുറിച്ച്, “അവിടന്നാണ് എന്റെ സങ്കേതവും കോട്ടയും ഞാൻ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ ദൈവവും,” എന്നു പറയും.
I will say vnto the Lord, O mine hope, and my fortresse: he is my God, in him will I trust.
3 അവിടന്നു നിശ്ചയമായും നിന്നെ വേട്ടക്കാരുടെ കെണിയിൽനിന്നും മാരകമായ പകർച്ചവ്യാധിയിൽനിന്നും രക്ഷിക്കും.
Surely he will deliuer thee from the snare of the hunter, and from the noysome pestilence.
4 തന്റെ തൂവലുകൾകൊണ്ട് അവിടന്ന് നിന്നെ മറയ്ക്കും, അവിടത്തെ ചിറകിൻകീഴിൽ നീ അഭയംകണ്ടെത്തും; അവിടത്തെ വിശ്വസ്തത നിനക്ക് പരിചയും കോട്ടയും ആയിരിക്കും.
Hee will couer thee vnder his winges, and thou shalt be sure vnder his feathers: his trueth shall be thy shielde and buckler.
5 രാത്രിയുടെ ഭീകരതയോ പകലിൽ ചീറിപ്പായുന്ന അസ്ത്രമോ
Thou shalt not be afraide of the feare of the night, nor of the arrowe that flyeth by day:
6 ഇരുളിന്റെ മറവിൽ വ്യാപിക്കുന്ന പകർച്ചവ്യാധിയോ നട്ടുച്ചയ്ക്കു വന്നുചേരുന്ന അത്യാപത്തോ നീ ഭയപ്പെടുകയില്ല.
Nor of the pestilence that walketh in the darkenesse: nor of the plague that destroyeth at noone day.
7 നിന്റെ വശത്ത് ആയിരംപേരും നിന്റെ വലതുഭാഗത്ത് പതിനായിരംപേരും വീഴും. എങ്കിലും അതു നിന്നോട് അടുക്കുകയില്ല.
A thousand shall fall at thy side, and tenne thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come neere thee.
8 നിന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾകൊണ്ട് നീ നോക്കുകയും ദുഷ്ടരുടെ ശിക്ഷ നീ കാണുകയും ചെയ്യും.
Doubtlesse with thine eyes shalt thou beholde and see the reward of the wicked.
9 യഹോവയെ നിന്റെ സങ്കേതവും അത്യുന്നതനെ നിന്റെ നിവാസസ്ഥാനവും ആക്കുമെങ്കിൽ,
For thou hast said, The Lord is mine hope: thou hast set the most High for thy refuge.
10 ഒരു അത്യാപത്തും നിനക്ക് ഉണ്ടാകുകയില്ല, ഒരു ദുരന്തവും നിന്റെ കൂടാരത്തിന് അടുത്തെത്തുകയില്ല.
There shall none euill come vnto thee, neither shall any plague come neere thy tabernacle.
11 കാരണം അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരോട് നിന്റെ എല്ലാ വഴികളിലും നിന്നെ സംരക്ഷിക്കാൻ കൽപ്പിക്കും;
For hee shall giue his Angels charge ouer thee to keepe thee in all thy wayes.
12 അവർ നിന്റെ പാദങ്ങൾ കല്ലിൽ മുട്ടാതെ നിന്നെ അവരുടെ കരങ്ങളിലേന്തും.
They shall beare thee in their handes, that thou hurt not thy foote against a stone.
13 സിംഹത്തെയും അണലിയെയും നീ ചതയ്ക്കും; സിംഹക്കുട്ടികളെയും മഹാസർപ്പത്തെയും നീ മെതിക്കും.
Thou shalt walke vpon the lyon and aspe: the yong lyon and the dragon shalt thou treade vnder feete.
14 അതുകൊണ്ട് യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു, “എന്നെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാൻ മോചിപ്പിക്കും; എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാൻ സംരക്ഷിക്കും.
Because he hath loued me, therefore will I deliuer him: I will exalt him because hee hath knowen my Name.
15 അവർ എന്നെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കും, ഞാൻ അവർക്ക് ഉത്തരമരുളും; കഷ്ടതയിൽ ഞാൻ അവരോടൊപ്പമുണ്ടാകും, ഞാൻ അവരെ വിടുവിച്ച് ബഹുമാനിക്കും.
He shall call vpon me, and I wil heare him: I will be with him in trouble: I will deliuer him, and glorifie him.
16 ദീർഘായുസ്സ് നൽകി ഞാൻ അവരെ തൃപ്തരാക്കും എന്റെ രക്ഷ ഞാൻ അവർക്കു കാണിച്ചുകൊടുക്കും.”
With long life wil I satisfie him, and shew him my saluation.
