സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 9

1 സംഗീതസംവിധായകന്. “പുത്രവിയോഗരാഗത്തിൽ.” ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ പൂർണഹൃദയത്തോടെ, അങ്ങയെ സ്തുതിക്കും; അവിടത്തെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളൊക്കെയും ഞാൻ വർണിക്കും.

For the Chief Musician; set to Muthlabben. A Psalm of David. I will give thanks unto the LORD with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvelous works.

2 ഞാൻ അങ്ങയിൽ ആനന്ദിച്ചുല്ലസിക്കും; അത്യുന്നതനേ, തിരുനാമത്തിനു ഞാൻ സ്തുതിപാടും.

I will be glad and exult in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou Most High.

3 എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ പിന്തിരിഞ്ഞോടുന്നു; അവർ തിരുമുമ്പാകെ കാലിടറിവീണു നശിക്കുന്നു.

When mine enemies turn back, they stumble and perish at thy presence.

4 കാരണം അവിടന്ന് എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി ന്യായവും വ്യവഹാരവും നടത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു, അവിടന്ന് സിംഹാസനസ്ഥനായി നീതിയോടെ ന്യായംവിധിക്കുന്നു.

For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging righteously.

5 അവിടന്ന് ജനതകളെ ശകാരിക്കുകയും ദുഷ്ടരെ നശിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ നാമം എന്നെന്നേക്കുമായി മായിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.

6 അന്തമില്ലാത്ത അനർഥങ്ങൾനിമിത്തം ശത്രുക്കൾ തകർക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു, അവരുടെ നഗരങ്ങളെ അങ്ങ് ഉന്മൂലനംചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ ഓർമകൾപോലും മാഞ്ഞുപോയിരിക്കുന്നു.

The enemy are come to an end, they are desolate for ever; and the cities which thou hast overthrown, their very memorial is perished.

7 യഹോവ എന്നേക്കും വാഴുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് ന്യായവിധിക്കായി തന്റെ സിംഹാസനം സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

But the LORD sitteth [as king] for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.

8 അവിടന്ന് ലോകത്തെ നീതിയോടെ ന്യായംവിധിക്കും; ജനതകളെ നേരോടെ ന്യായപാലനംചെയ്യും.

And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the peoples in uprightness.

9 യഹോവ പീഡിതർക്കൊരു അഭയസ്ഥാനം, ദുർഘടസമയങ്ങളിൽ ഉറപ്പുള്ള ഒരു കോട്ട.

The LORD also will be a high tower for the oppressed, a high tower in times of trouble;

10 അവിടത്തെ നാമം അറിയുന്നവർ അങ്ങയിൽ ആശ്രയംവെക്കുന്നു, യഹോവേ, അവിടത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരെ ഒരുനാളും അങ്ങ് ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുകയില്ലല്ലോ.

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee; for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

11 സീയോനിൽ വാഴുന്ന യഹോവയ്ക്കു സ്തുതിപാടുക; അവിടത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ ജനതകൾക്കിടയിൽ ഘോഷിക്കുക.

Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.

12 കാരണം, രക്തത്തിനു പ്രതികാരംചെയ്യുന്ന അവിടന്ന് പീഡിതരെ ഓർക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ നിലവിളി അവിടന്ന് അവഗണിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

For he that maketh inquisition for blood remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the poor.

13 യഹോവേ, എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ എന്നെ ദ്രോഹിക്കുന്നത് എങ്ങനെയെന്ന് കാണണമേ! എന്നോട് കരുണതോന്നി, മരണകവാടത്തിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ ഉദ്ധരിക്കണമേ,

Have mercy upon me, O LORD; behold my affliction [which I suffer] of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death;

14 സീയോൻപുത്രിയുടെ കവാടത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അവിടത്തെ സ്തുതി ഘോഷിക്കും; ഞാൻ അങ്ങയുടെ രക്ഷയിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കും.

That I may shew forth all thy praise: in the gates of the daughter of Zion, I will rejoice in thy salvation.

15 രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങൾ അവർ കുഴിച്ച കുഴിയിൽത്തന്നെ വീണിരിക്കുന്നു; അവരുടെ കാൽപ്പാദങ്ങൾ അവർ വിരിച്ച വലയിൽത്തന്നെ കുടുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

The nations are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

16 യഹോവ അവിടത്തെ നീതിനിർവഹണത്തിൽ പ്രസിദ്ധനായിരിക്കുന്നു; ദുഷ്ടർ അവരുടെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയിൽ കുടുങ്ങിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു. തന്ത്രിനാദം. (സേലാ)

The LORD hath made himself known, he hath executed judgment: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. (Higaion, Selah)

17 ദുഷ്ടർ പാതാളത്തിലേക്കു തിരിയുന്നു, ദൈവത്തെ മറക്കുന്ന രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളുടെ അന്ത്യവും അങ്ങനെതന്നെ. (Sheol h7585)

The wicked shall return to Sheol, even all the nations that forget God. (Sheol h7585)

18 എന്നാൽ ദരിദ്രർ എക്കാലവും വിസ്മരിക്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല; പീഡിതരുടെ പ്രത്യാശ എന്നേക്കും നശിച്ചുപോകുകയില്ല.

For the needy shall not alway be forgotten, nor the expectation of the poor perish for ever.

19 യഹോവേ, എഴുന്നേൽക്കണമേ, മർത്യർ വിജയഭേരി മുഴക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ; ജനതകൾ തിരുമുമ്പാകെ ന്യായവിധിക്കു വിധേയരാകട്ടെ.

Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the nations be judged in thy sight.

20 യഹോവേ, ഭീതിയാൽ അവരെ തകർക്കണമേ, തങ്ങൾ വെറും മനുഷ്യരെന്ന് രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങൾ മനസ്സിലാക്കട്ടെ. (സേലാ)

Put them in fear, O LORD: let the nations know themselves to be but men. (Selah)
