സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 89
1 എസ്രാഹ്യനായ ഏഥാന്റെ ഒരു ധ്യാനസങ്കീർത്തനം. നിത്യവും ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹത്തെ കീർത്തിക്കും; എന്റെ വാകൊണ്ട് അവിടത്തെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെ ഞാൻ തലമുറകൾതോറും അറിയിക്കും.
Yahweh, I will sing forever about the ways you faithfully love me; people not yet born will hear that you faithfully [do all that you have promised].
2 അവിടത്തെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹം എന്നേക്കും നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു എന്നും അവിടത്തെ വിശ്വസ്തത സ്വർഗത്തിൽ സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നും ഞാൻ പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കും.
I will tell people that you will faithfully love us forever, and that your being faithful [to do what you have promised] is as permanent as the sky.
3 യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു: “ഞാൻ എന്റെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടവനുമായി ഒരു ഉടമ്പടിചെയ്തു, എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനോട് ഞാൻ ശപഥംചെയ്തു,
Yahweh said, “I have made an agreement with David, whom I chose [to serve me]. I have made this solemn (agreement with/promise to) him:
4 ‘ഞാൻ നിന്റെ വംശത്തെ എന്നെന്നേക്കും സ്ഥിരമാക്കും നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനം തലമുറതലമുറയോളം നിലനിർത്തും.’” (സേലാ)
‘I will enable various ones of your descendants to always be kings; the line of kings descended from you [MTY] will never end.’”
5 യഹോവേ, സ്വർഗം അങ്ങയുടെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളെയും വിശുദ്ധരുടെ സഭയിൽ അങ്ങയുടെ വിശ്വസ്തതയെയും സ്തുതിക്കും.
Yahweh, I desire that all [those beings who are in] [MTY] heaven will praise you for the wonderful things that you do, and that all your holy angels will sing about how you faithfully [do what you promise].
6 യഹോവയോട് തുലനംചെയ്യാൻ പ്രപഞ്ചത്തിൽ ആരുണ്ട്? ദൈവപുത്രന്മാരിൽ യഹോവയ്ക്കു സമനായി ആരാണുള്ളത്?
There is no one [RHQ] in heaven who can be compared with you, Yahweh. There are no angels [RHQ] in heaven who are equal to you.
7 വിശുദ്ധരുടെ സംഘത്തിൽ ദൈവം ഏറ്റവും ആദരണീയൻ; അങ്ങേക്കുചുറ്റും നിൽക്കുന്ന ഏതൊരാളെക്കാളും അങ്ങ് ഭയപ്പെടാൻ യോഗ്യൻ.
When your holy angels gather together, they declare that you must be revered; they say that you are more awesome than all the angels that surround your throne!
8 സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയെപ്പോലെ ആരുണ്ട്? യഹോവേ, അവിടന്ന് ബലവാൻ ആകുന്നു. അങ്ങയുടെ വിശ്വസ്തത അങ്ങയെ വലയംചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
O Yahweh, God Almighty, there is no one [RHQ] who is powerful like you are; your faithfully doing [all that you promise] is [like a cloak that] [MET] [always] surrounds you.
9 ഇളകിമറിയുന്ന സമുദ്രത്തെ അവിടന്ന് അടക്കിവാഴുന്നു; അതിന്റെ തിരമാലകൾ ഉയരുമ്പോൾ അങ്ങ് അവയെ ശമിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
You rule over the powerful seas; when their waves rise up, you calm them.
10 അവിടന്ന് രഹബിനെ വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരെപ്പോലെ തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞു; അങ്ങയുടെ ശക്തമായ കരംകൊണ്ട് അങ്ങ് ശത്രുക്കളെ ചിതറിച്ചു.
You are the one who crushed [and killed the great sea monster named] Rahab. You [defeated and] scattered your enemies with your great power [MTY].
11 ആകാശം അങ്ങയുടേത്, ഭൂമിയും അവിടത്തേതുതന്നെ; ഭൂതലവും അതിലുള്ള സകലതും അങ്ങു സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
The heavens are yours, and the earth is yours; and everything on the earth is yours, because you created it all.
12 ദക്ഷിണോത്തരദിക്കുകളെ അങ്ങു സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു; താബോർമലയും ഹെർമോൻമലയും അവിടത്തെ നാമത്തിൽ ആനന്ദിച്ചാർക്കുന്നു.
You created [everything from] the north to the south. Tabor [Mountain] and Hermon [Mountain] joyfully praise you [MTY].
13 അവിടത്തെ കരം ശക്തിയുള്ളതാകുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ ഭുജം ബലമേറിയത്, അവിടത്തെ വലതുകരം ഉന്നതമായിരിക്കുന്നു.
(You/Your arms) are very powerful; (you/your hands) are extremely strong.
14 നീതിയും ന്യായവും അങ്ങയുടെ സിംഹാസനത്തിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനം ആകുന്നു; അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹവും വിശ്വസ്തതയും അങ്ങയുടെമുമ്പാകെ പോകുന്നു.
(Your rule [MTY] over us is based on/As you rule over us, you are always) treating people fairly and justly, and on/are always faithfully loving us and doing [what you promised].
15 യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയെ ആർപ്പുവിളികളോടെ സ്തുതിക്കാൻ ശീലിച്ച ജനം അനുഗൃഹീതർ, കാരണം അവർ തിരുസാന്നിധ്യത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭയിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കും.
Yahweh, happy are the people who worship you with joyful shouts, who live knowing that you are always watching over them.
16 അവർ ദിവസംമുഴുവനും അവിടത്തെ നാമത്തിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നു; അവർ അവിടത്തെ നീതിയിൽ പുകഴുന്നു.
Every day, throughout the day, they rejoice in what you [MTY] [have done], and they praise you for being very good [to them].
17 കാരണം അവിടന്നാണ് അവരുടെ മഹത്ത്വവും ശക്തിയും, അവിടത്തെ പ്രസാദത്തിൽ അങ്ങ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൊമ്പ് ഉയർത്തുന്നു.
You give us your glorious strength; because you act in our favor, we defeat [MET] [our enemies].
18 ഞങ്ങളുടെ പരിച യഹോവയ്ക്കുള്ളതാകുന്നു, നിശ്ചയം, ഞങ്ങളുടെ രാജാവ് ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനുള്ളതും.
Yahweh, you gave us [the one who] protects us [MET]; you, the holy God whom we Israelis worship, chose a king for us.
19 ഒരിക്കൽ അവിടന്ന് ഒരു ദർശനത്തിൽ സംസാരിച്ചു, അങ്ങയുടെ വിശ്വസ്തരോട് അവിടന്ന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു: “ഞാൻ ഒരു യോദ്ധാവിന്മേൽ ശക്തിപകർന്നു; ജനത്തിൽനിന്നു തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത ഒരു യുവാവിനെ ഞാൻ ഉയർത്തി.
Long ago you spoke in a vision to one of your servants/prophets, saying, “I have helped a famous soldier; I chose him from among all the people to be a king.
20 എന്റെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനെ ഞാൻ കണ്ടെത്തി; എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധതൈലംകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ അഭിഷേകംചെയ്തു.
That man is David, the one who will serve me [faithfully], and I anointed him with sacred olive oil [to make him king].
21 എന്റെ കൈ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ നിലനിർത്തും; എന്റെ ഭുജം അദ്ദേഹത്തെ ശക്തിപ്പെടുത്തും, നിശ്ചയം.
I [MTY] will always strengthen him; with my power [MTY] I will make him strong.
22 ശത്രു അദ്ദേഹത്തിൽനിന്ന് കപ്പംപിരിക്കുകയില്ല; ദുഷ്ടർ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ കീഴ്പ്പെടുത്തുകയുമില്ല.
His enemies will never find ways to defeat him, and wicked people will never defeat him.
23 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ എതിരാളികളെ ഞാൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽവെച്ച് തകർക്കുകയും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ വെറുക്കുന്നവരെ ഞാൻ നശിപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.
I will crush his enemies in front of him and get rid of those who hate him.
24 എന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തതയും അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹവും അദ്ദേഹത്തോടൊപ്പം ഉണ്ടാകും എന്റെ നാമംമൂലം അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കൊമ്പ് ഉയർന്നിരിക്കും.
I will always be loyal to him and faithfully love him and enable him to defeat [MET] [his enemies].
25 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കൈ സമുദ്രത്തിന്മേലും വലതുകരം നദികളിന്മേലും ഞാൻ സ്ഥാപിക്കും.
I will cause (his kingdom/the area that he rules) to include all the land from the [Mediterranean] Sea to the [Euphrates] River.
26 അദ്ദേഹം എന്നോട് ഇപ്രകാരം ഘോഷിക്കും, ‘അവിടന്നാണ് എന്റെ പിതാവ്, എന്റെ ദൈവം, എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ പാറ.’
He will say to me, ‘You are my Father, my God, the one who protects [MET] and saves me.’
27 ഞാൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ എന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനായി നിയമിക്കും, ഭൂമിയിലെ രാജാക്കന്മാരിൽ ഏറ്റവും ഉന്നതനാക്കും.
I will give him [the rights/privileges that a man’s] firstborn son has [MET]; he will be the greatest king on the earth.
28 അദ്ദേഹത്തോടുള്ള എന്റെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹം ഞാൻ എന്നും നിലനിർത്തും, അദ്ദേഹത്തോടുള്ള എന്റെ ഉടമ്പടി ഒരിക്കലും അവസാനിക്കുകയില്ല.
I will always be loyal to him, and my agreement [to bless] him will last forever.
29 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വംശത്തെ ഞാൻ എന്നെന്നും നിലനിർത്തും, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തെ ആകാശമുള്ള കാലത്തോളവും.
I will establish a line of his descendants that will never end, various ones of his descendants will always be kings.
30 “അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ എന്റെ ന്യായപ്രമാണം ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുകയും എന്റെ നിയമവ്യവസ്ഥകൾ പാലിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്താൽ,
But, if [some of] his descendants disobey my laws, and do not not behave like my commands say that they should,
31 അതേ, അവർ എന്റെ ഉത്തരവുകൾ ലംഘിക്കുകയും എന്റെ കൽപ്പനകൾ ആചരിക്കുന്നതിൽ പരാജയപ്പെടുകയുംചെയ്താൽ,
if they disregard my requirements and do not do the right things that I have told them to do,
32 ഞാൻ അവരുടെ പാപങ്ങൾക്ക് വടികൊണ്ടും അവരുടെ അതിക്രമങ്ങൾക്ക് ചാട്ടവാർകൊണ്ടും ശിക്ഷിക്കും;
I will punish them severely [MTY] and cause them to suffer for doing wrong.
33 എങ്കിലും എനിക്ക് അവനോടുള്ള അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹത്തിന് ഭംഗംവരികയോ എന്റെ വിശ്വസ്തത ഞാൻ ഒരിക്കലും ത്യജിക്കുകയോ ഇല്ല.
But I will not stop faithfully loving [David], and I will always do what I promised him.
34 ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഉടമ്പടി ലംഘിക്കുകയോ എന്റെ അധരങ്ങൾ ഉച്ചരിച്ച വാക്കുകൾക്കു വ്യത്യാസം വരുത്തുകയോ ചെയ്യുകയില്ല.
I will not break the agreement that I made with him; I will not change even one word that I spoke [to him].
35 എന്റെ വിശുദ്ധിയിൽ ഞാൻ ഒരിക്കലായി ശപഥംചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; ദാവീദിനോടു ഞാൻ വ്യാജം സംസാരിക്കുകയില്ല.
Once I made a solemn promise to David, and that will never change, and because I am God, I will never lie to David.
36 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വംശം ശാശ്വതമായിരിക്കും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സിംഹാസനം എന്റെമുമ്പാകെ സൂര്യനെപ്പോലെ നിലനിൽക്കും;
[I promised that] the line of kings descended from him will go on forever; it will last as long as the sun [shines].
37 അതു ചന്ദ്രനെപ്പോലെ എന്നെന്നേക്കുമായി സ്ഥാപിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കും, ആകാശത്തിലെ വിശ്വസ്തസാക്ഷിയായിത്തന്നെ.” (സേലാ)
That line will (be as permanent/last as long) as the moon that is always watching everything from the sky.
38 എങ്കിലും അവിടന്ന് ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുകയും തള്ളിക്കളയുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു, അങ്ങയുടെ അഭിഷിക്തനോട് കോപാകുലനായിരിക്കുന്നു.
But [Yahweh], now you have rejected [DOU] David! You are very angry with the king whom you appointed.
39 അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസനോടുള്ള അവിടത്തെ ഉടമ്പടി അങ്ങ് നിരാകരിക്കുകയും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കിരീടത്തെ നിലത്തിട്ട് മലിനമാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
[It seems that] you have broken the agreement that you made with your servant, [David]; it seems as though you [have signaled that he is no longer the king by] throwing his crown into the dust/dirt.
40 അവിടന്ന് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സുരക്ഷാമതിലുകൾക്കെല്ലാം വിള്ളൽവീഴ്ത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കോട്ടകൾ ഇടിച്ചുനിരത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
You have torn down the walls [that protect] his [city], and allowed all his forts to become ruins.
41 വഴിപോക്കരൊക്കെ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ കൊള്ളയിടുന്നു; അയൽവാസികൾക്ക് അദ്ദേഹമൊരു പരിഹാസപാത്രമായിത്തീർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.
All those who pass by plunder/steal his possessions; his neighbors (laugh at/ridicule) him.
42 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വൈരികളുടെ വലതുകരം അങ്ങ് ഉയർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെയെല്ലാം അങ്ങ് സന്തുഷ്ടരാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
You have enabled his enemies to defeat him; you have made them all happy.
43 അങ്ങ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വാളിന്റെ വായ്ത്തല മടക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു യുദ്ധത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിനൊരു കൈത്താങ്ങ് നൽകിയതുമില്ല.
You have caused his sword to become useless, and you have not helped him in his battles.
44 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മഹത്ത്വത്തിന് അങ്ങ് അറുതിവരുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സിംഹാസനം അവിടന്ന് മറിച്ചുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
You have caused his splendor to end (OR, You have taken away his power by knocking his throne to the ground.
45 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ യൗവനകാലം അങ്ങ് വെട്ടിച്ചുരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ലജ്ജയുടെ കുപ്പായംകൊണ്ട് അങ്ങ് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ മൂടിയിരിക്കുന്നു. (സേലാ)
You have caused him to look old when he is still young and caused him to be very shamed/disgraced.
46 ഇനിയും എത്രനാൾ, യഹോവേ? അവിടന്ന് എന്നേക്കും മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുമോ? അവിടത്തെ ക്രോധം എത്രകാലത്തേക്ക് അഗ്നിപോലെ ജ്വലിക്കും?
O Yahweh, how long [will this continue]? Will you hide yourself forever? How long will your anger burn like a fire?
47 എന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലം എത്രക്ഷണികമെന്ന് ഓർക്കണമേ കാരണം, മനുഷ്യവംശത്തിന്റെ സൃഷ്ടി എത്ര നിരർഥകം!
Do not forget that life is very short; have you created all us people in vain?
48 മരണം കാണാതെ ജീവിക്കാൻ ആർക്കാണു കഴിയുക? പാതാളത്തിന്റെ ശക്തിയിൽനിന്നു രക്ഷപ്പെടാൻ ആർക്കാണു കഴിയുക? (സേലാ) (Sheol h7585)
No one can [RHQ] keep on living and never die; (No one can [RHQ] avoid going/Everyone will go) to the place of the dead. (Sheol h7585)
49 കർത്താവേ, അവിടത്തെ വിശ്വസ്തതയിൽ ദാവീദിനോട് ശപഥംചെയ്ത, അവിടത്തെ അചഞ്ചലമായ മുൻകാലസ്നേഹം എവിടെ?
Yahweh, you promised long ago that you would faithfully love us; why are you not doing that? You solemnly promised that to David!
50 കർത്താവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസൻ എത്രത്തോളം നിന്ദിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് ഓർക്കണമേ, സകലരാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളുടെയും പരിഹാസം ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തിൽ വഹിക്കുന്നു,
Yahweh, do not forget that people insult me! (Heathen people/People who do not know you) curse me!
51 യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയുടെ ശത്രുക്കളാണെന്നെ പരിഹസിക്കുന്നത്, അവിടത്തെ അഭിഷിക്തന്റെ ഓരോ ചുവടുവെപ്പും അവർ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നു.
Yahweh, your enemies insult your chosen king! They insult/ridicule him wherever he goes.
52 യഹോവ എന്നെന്നേക്കും വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടുമാറാകട്ടെ!
I hope/desire that Yahweh will be praised forever! Amen! May it be so!
