1 ഒരു ഗീതം; കോരഹ് പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം; സംഗീതസംവിധായകന്; മഹലത്ത് രാഗത്തിൽ. എസ്രാഹ്യനായ ഹേമാന്റെ ഒരു ധ്യാനം. യഹോവേ, എന്റെ രക്ഷയുടെ ദൈവമേ, ഞാൻ രാവും പകലും തിരുസന്നിധിയിൽ നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു.
“A song or psalm of the sons of Korach, to the chief musician upon Machalath-le'annoth, a Maskil of Heman the Ezrachite.” O Lord the God of my salvation, by day do I cry, [and] at night I am before thee.
2 എന്റെ പ്രാർഥന തിരുമുമ്പിൽ വരുമാറാകട്ടെ; എന്റെ നിലവിളിക്ക് അങ്ങയുടെ ചെവിചായ്‌ക്കണമേ.
Let my prayer come unto thy presence; incline thy ear unto my entreaty.
For my soul is sated with troubles; and my life draweth nigh unto the nether world. (Sheol h7585)
4 ശവക്കുഴിയിലേക്കു നിപതിക്കുന്നവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ഞാൻ എണ്ണപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ ശക്തിഹീനനായ ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെപ്പോലെ ആയിരിക്കുന്നു.
I am counted with those that descend into the pit; I am become as a man without vigor:
5 മരിച്ചവരുടെ ഇടയിൽ തള്ളപ്പെട്ടവരെപ്പോലെയും ശവകുടീരത്തിൽ കിടക്കുന്ന വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടവരെപ്പോലെയുമാണ് ഞാൻ, അങ്ങ് അവരെ ഒരിക്കലും ഓർക്കുന്നില്ല, അങ്ങയുടെ കരുതലിൽനിന്ന് അവർ വിച്ഛേദിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
Free among the dead, like the slain that dwell in the grave, whom thou rememberest no more; and those that are cut off by thy hand.
6 അങ്ങ് എന്നെ ഏറ്റവും താണ കുഴിയിൽ, അന്ധകാരംനിറഞ്ഞ അഗാധതയിൽ തള്ളിയിട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
Thou hast laid me in the pit of the lower world, in darkness, in the depths.
7 അവിടത്തെ ക്രോധം എന്റെമേൽ ഭാരമായിരിക്കുന്നു; അങ്ങയുടെ തിരമാലകളെല്ലാം എന്നെ വിഴുങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നു. (സേലാ)
Upon me lieth heavily thy fury, and with all thy billows hast thou afflicted me. (Selah)
8 എന്റെ ഏറ്റവുമടുത്ത സ്നേഹിതരെപ്പോലും അങ്ങ് എന്നിൽനിന്ന് അടർത്തിമാറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നെ അവർക്ക് അറപ്പുള്ളവനാക്കിത്തീർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു. രക്ഷപ്പെടാൻ കഴിയാത്തവിധം എന്നെ കെണിയിൽ വീഴ്ത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു;
Thou hast removed my acquaintances far from me; thou hast rendered me an abomination unto them: I am imprisoned, and I cannot go forth.
9 ദുഃഖത്താൽ എന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾ മങ്ങിപ്പോയിരിക്കുന്നു. യഹോവേ, എല്ലാ ദിവസവും ഞാൻ അങ്ങയെ വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ തിരുമുമ്പിൽ എന്റെ കൈകൾ ഉയർത്തുന്നു.
My eye languisheth by reason of affliction: I call on thee, O Lord, every day, I stretch out unto thee my hands.
10 മരിച്ചവർക്കുവേണ്ടി അവിടന്ന് അത്ഭുതങ്ങൾ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുമോ? മൃതരായവർ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റ് അവിടത്തെ പുകഴ്ത്തുമോ? (സേലാ)
Wilt thou display wonders to the dead? shall the departed arise [and] thank thee? (Selah)
11 അവിടത്തെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹം ശവകുടീരത്തിലും അവിടത്തെ വിശ്വസ്തത മറവിയുടെ ദേശത്തിലും ഘോഷിക്കപ്പെടുമോ?
Shall thy kindness be related in the grave? thy faithfulness in the place of corruption?
12 അവിടത്തെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങൾ അന്ധകാരത്തിലും അവിടത്തെ നീതിപ്രവൃത്തികൾ വിസ്മൃതിയുടെ നാട്ടിലും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നുണ്ടോ?
Shall thy wonders be acknowledged in the darkness? and thy righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
13 എങ്കിലും യഹോവേ, ഞാൻ അങ്ങയോട് സഹായത്തിനായി അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നു; പ്രഭാതത്തിൽ എന്റെ പ്രാർഥന തിരുമുമ്പിൽ എത്തുന്നു.
Yet I cry indeed aloud unto thee, O Lord; and in the morning shall my prayer come before thee.
14 യഹോവേ, അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ കൈവിടുകയും അങ്ങയുടെ മുഖം എന്നിൽനിന്ന് മറയ്ക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നത് എന്ത്?
Why, O Lord, wilt thou cast off my soul? [why] wilt thou hide thy face from me?
15 ചെറുപ്പകാലംമുതൽതന്നെ ഞാൻ പീഡിതനും മരണാസന്നനും ആയിരിക്കുന്നു; അങ്ങയുടെ ഭീകരതകൾ ഞാൻ അനുഭവിച്ചു, ഞാൻ നിസ്സഹായനുമാണ്.
I am afflicted and perishing from my youth up: I bear thy terrors, I am distracted.
16 അവിടത്തെ കോപം എന്റെമീതേ കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ ഭീകരതകൾ എന്നെ തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
Over me have the fires of thy wrath passed; thy terrors have destroyed me;
17 ദിവസംമുഴുവനും അവയെന്നെ ജലപ്രളയംപോലെ വലയംചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവ എന്നെ പൂർണമായും വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
They encompass me like water all the time; they have closed in round about me together.
18 അങ്ങ് എന്റെ സ്നേഹിതരെയും അയൽവാസികളെയും എന്നിൽനിന്ന് അകറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു. അന്ധകാരമാണ് എനിക്കേറ്റവും അടുത്ത മിത്രം.
Thou hast removed far from me lover and friend, my acquaintances [are in] darkness.
