1 കോരഹ് പുത്രന്മാരുടെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം; ഒരു ഗീതം. യഹോവ വിശുദ്ധപർവതത്തിൽ തന്റെ നഗരം സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

`The salm of the song of the sones of Chore. The foundementis therof ben in hooli hillis;

2 യാക്കോബിന്റെ സകലനിവാസസ്ഥാനങ്ങളെക്കാളും സീയോന്റെ കവാടങ്ങളെ അവിടന്ന് സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

the Lord loueth the yatis of Sion, more than alle the tabernaclis of Jacob.

3 ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നഗരമേ, നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു മഹത്തരമായ കാര്യങ്ങൾ പറയപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു: (സേലാ)

Thou citee of God, with outen ende; gloriouse thingis ben seide of thee.

4 “എന്നെ അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ ഞാൻ രഹബിനെയും ബാബേലിനെയും രേഖപ്പെടുത്തും— ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശവും സോരും കൂശും അക്കൂട്ടത്തിലുണ്ട്— ‘ഇവൻ സീയോനിൽ ജനിച്ചു,’ എന്നു പറയപ്പെടും.”

I schal be myndeful of Raab, and Babiloyne; knowynge me. Lo! aliens, and Tyre, and the puple of Ethiopiens; thei weren there.

5 സീയോനെപ്പറ്റി ഇപ്രകാരം പറയും, നിശ്ചയം, “ഇവനും അവനും ജനിച്ചത് ഇവിടെയാണ്, അത്യുന്നതൻതന്നെയാണ് സീയോനെ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.”

Whether a man schal seie to Sion, And a man is born ther ynne; and that man altherhiyeste foundide it?

6 യഹോവ ജനതകളുടെ ജനസംഖ്യ എടുക്കുമ്പോൾ: “ഈ ആൾ സീയോനിൽ ജനിച്ചു,” എന്നു രേഖപ്പെടുത്തും. (സേലാ)

The Lord schal telle in the scripturis of puplis; and of these princis, that weren ther ynne.

7 ഗായകരെപ്പോലെ നർത്തകരും “എന്റെ എല്ലാ ഉറവിടവും അങ്ങയിൽ ആകുന്നു,” എന്നു പാടും.

As the dwellyng `of alle that ben glad; is in thee.
