സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 83
1 ആസാഫിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം; ഒരു ഗീതം. ദൈവമേ, മൗനമായിരിക്കരുതേ; ദൈവമേ, അവിടന്ന് ചെവി അടച്ചും നിഷ്ക്രിയനായും ഇരിക്കരുതേ.
The song of the salm of Asaph. God, who schal be lijk thee? God, be thou not stille, nether be thou peesid.
2 ഇതാ! അങ്ങയുടെ ശത്രുക്കൾ ഗർജിക്കുന്നു, അങ്ങയെ വെറുക്കുന്നവർ തല ഉയർത്തുന്നു.
For lo! thin enemyes sowneden; and thei that haten thee reisiden the heed.
3 അങ്ങയുടെ ജനത്തിനെതിരേ അവർ കുടിലതന്ത്രങ്ങൾ മെനയുന്നു; അങ്ങയുടെ പരിലാളനയിലിരിക്കുന്നവർക്കെതിരേ ഗൂഢാലോചന നടത്തുന്നു.
Thei maden a wickid counsel on thi puple; and thei thouyten ayens thi seyntis.
4 “വരിക,” അവർ പറയുന്നു, “അവർ ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രമായിരിക്കാതവണ്ണം നമുക്കവരെ തുടച്ചുനീക്കാം, ഇസ്രായേൽ എന്ന പേര് ഇനി ഒരിക്കലും ഓർക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.”
Thei seiden, Come ye, and leese we hem fro the folk; and the name of Israel be no more hadde in mynde.
5 അവർ ഏകമനസ്സോടെ ഗൂഢാലോചന നടത്തുന്നു; അവർ അവിടത്തേക്കെതിരായി ഒരു സഖ്യം രൂപപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു—
For thei thouyten with oon acord;
6 ഏദോമ്യരുടെയും യിശ്മായേല്യരുടെയും മോവാബ്യരുടെയും ഹഗര്യരുടെയും കൂടാരങ്ങളും,
the tabernaclis of Ydumeys, and men of Ismael disposiden a testament togidere ayens thee. Moab, and Agarenus, Jebal, and Amon, and Amalech;
7 ഗിബാൽ, അമ്മോൻ, അമാലേക്ക്, സോർ നിവാസികളോടുകൂടെ ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശവും
alienys with hem that dwellen in Tyre.
8 അശ്ശൂരും അവരോടൊപ്പംചേർന്ന് ലോത്തിന്റെ പിൻതലമുറയ്ക്ക് ശക്തിനൽകുന്നു. (സേലാ)
For Assur cometh with hem; thei ben maad in to help to the sones of Loth.
9 അങ്ങ് മിദ്യാന്യരോട് ചെയ്തതുപോലെ അവരോടും ചെയ്യണമേ, കീശോൻ നദിക്കരികെവെച്ച് സീസെരയോടും യാബീനോടും അങ്ങു പ്രവർത്തിച്ചതുപോലെതന്നെ,
Make thou to hem as to Madian, and Sisara; as to Jabyn in the stronde of Sison.
10 അവർ എൻ-ദോരിൽവെച്ച് തകർന്നടിഞ്ഞ് മണ്ണിനു വളമായിത്തീർന്നു.
Thei perischiden in Endor; thei weren maad as a toord of erthe.
11 അവരിൽ ശക്തരായവരെ ഓരേബ്, സേബ് എന്നിവരെപ്പോലെയും അവരിലെ പ്രഭുക്കളെ സേബഹ്, സൽമുന്ന എന്നിവരെപ്പോലെയും ആക്കണമേ.
Putte thou the prynces of hem as Oreb and Zeb; and Zebee and Salmana. Alle the princis of hem, that seiden;
12 “ദൈവത്തിന്റെ മേച്ചിൽപ്പുറങ്ങളെ നമുക്കു കൈവശമാക്കാം,” എന്ന് അവർ പറഞ്ഞല്ലോ.
Holde we bi eritage the seyntuarie of God.
13 എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, അവരെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റിലെ പൊടിപോലെയും കാറ്റിൽ പറക്കുന്ന പതിരുപോലെയും ആക്കണമേ.
My God, putte thou hem as a whele; and as stobil bifor the face of the wynde.
14 വനത്തെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അഗ്നിപോലെയോ പർവതങ്ങളെ ജ്വലിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ജ്വാലപോലെയോ
As fier that brenneth a wode; and as flawme brynnynge hillis.
15 അവിടത്തെ കൊടുങ്കാറ്റ് അവരെ പിൻതുടരുകയും അവിടത്തെ ചുഴലിക്കാറ്റിനാൽ അവരെ ഭയപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യണമേ.
So thou schalt pursue hem in thi tempeste; and thou schalt disturble hem in thin ire.
16 യഹോവേ, അവിടത്തെ നാമം അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നതിന് അവരുടെ മുഖം ലജ്ജയാൽ മൂടണമേ.
Lord, fille thou the faces of hem with schenschipe; and thei schulen seke thi name.
17 അവർ എന്നേക്കും ലജ്ജിതരാകുകയും ഭ്രമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യട്ടെ. അവർ അപമാനഭാരത്താൽ നശിക്കട്ടെ.
Be thei aschamed, and be thei disturblid in to world of world; and be thei schent and perische thei.
18 സർവഭൂമിക്കും അത്യുന്നതനായവൻ അവിടന്നുമാത്രമാണ് എന്നും അവിടത്തെ നാമം യഹോവ എന്ന് ആകുന്നു എന്നും അവർ അറിയട്ടെ.
And knowe thei, that the Lord is name to thee; thou aloone art the hiyeste in ech lond.
