സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 82

1 ആസാഫിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. ദൈവം മഹാസഭയിൽ ആധ്യക്ഷ്യംവഹിക്കുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് ദേവന്മാർക്കിടയിൽ ന്യായംവിധിക്കുന്നു:

A psalm of Asaph God [is] taking his stand in [the] congregation of God in [the] midst of [the] gods he gives judgment.

2 “എത്രനാൾ നിങ്ങൾ അനീതിക്കായി നിലകൊള്ളുകയും ദുഷ്ടരോട് പക്ഷപാതംകാണിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. (സേലാ)

Until when? will you judge injustice and [the] face of wicked [people] will you lift up (Selah)

3 അനാഥർക്കും ദുർബലർക്കുമായി നിലകൊള്ളുക; ദരിദ്രർക്കും പീഡിതർക്കും ന്യായപാലനം ചെയ്യുക.

Give judgment for [the] poor and [the] fatherless [the] afflicted and [the] poor vindicate.

4 അഗതികളെയും ദുർബലരെയും മോചിപ്പിക്കുക; അവരെ ദുഷ്ടരുടെ കൈകളിൽനിന്ന് വിടുവിക്കുക.

Deliver [the] poor and [the] needy from [the] hand of wicked [people] rescue [them].

5 “അവർ ഒന്നും അറിയുന്നില്ല, അവർ ഒന്നും മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നില്ല. അവർ അന്ധകാരത്തിൽ തപ്പിത്തടയുന്നു; ഭൂമിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനങ്ങളെല്ലാം ഇളകിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Not they know - and not they understand in darkness they walk about they are shaken all [the] foundations of [the] earth.

6 “‘നിങ്ങൾ ദേവന്മാർ, എന്നും നിങ്ങൾ എല്ലാവരും അത്യുന്നതന്റെ മക്കൾ എന്നും ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു.’

I I said [are] gods you and [are] [the] children of [the] Most High all of you.

7 എന്നാൽ വെറും മനുഷ്യരെപ്പോലെ നിങ്ങൾ മരിക്കും; ഭരണാധിപരിൽ ഒരാളെപ്പോലെ നിങ്ങൾ വീണുപോകും.”

Nevertheless like humankind you will die! and like one of the princes you will fall.

8 ദൈവമേ, എഴുന്നേൽക്കണമേ, ഭൂമിയെ വിധിക്കണമേ, കാരണം സകലരാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളും അങ്ങയുടെ അവകാശമാണല്ലോ.

Arise! O God judge! the earth for you you have an inheritance among all the nations.
