സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 69

1 സംഗീതസംവിധായകന്. “സാരസരാഗത്തിൽ.” ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. ദൈവമേ, എന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കണമേ, ജലപ്രവാഹം എന്റെ കഴുത്തോളം എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

To the chief Musician upon Shoshannim, [A Psalm] of David. Save me, O God; for the waters are come in to [my] soul.

2 കാലുകൾ ഉറപ്പിക്കാനാകാത്ത ആഴമുള്ള ചേറ്റിൽ ഞാൻ മുങ്ങിത്താഴുന്നു. ആഴമുള്ള പ്രവാഹത്തിൽ ഞാൻ അകപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; ജലപ്രളയം എനിക്കുമീതേ കവിഞ്ഞൊഴുകുന്നു.

I sink in deep mire, where [there is] no standing: I am come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

3 സഹായത്തിനായി വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിച്ച് ഞാൻ കുഴഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്റെ തൊണ്ട ഉണങ്ങിവരണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. എന്റെ ദൈവത്തിനായി കാത്തിരുന്ന് എന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾ മങ്ങുന്നു.

I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: my eyes fail while I wait for my God.

4 കാരണംകൂടാതെ എന്നെ വെറുക്കുന്നവർ എന്റെ തലമുടിയുടെ എണ്ണത്തെക്കാൾ അധികമാകുന്നു; അകാരണമായി എന്നെ നശിപ്പിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്ന എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾ അനവധിയാകുന്നു. ഞാൻ അപഹരിക്കാത്ത വസ്തുവകകൾ മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കാൻ നിർബന്ധിതനായിരിക്കുന്നു.

They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head: they that would destroy me, [being] my enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored [that] which I took not away.

5 ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ ഭോഷത്തം അങ്ങ് അറിയുന്നു; എന്റെ പാതകം അങ്ങയുടെമുമ്പാകെ മറവായിരിക്കുന്നതുമില്ല.

O God, thou knowest my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from thee.

6 കർത്താവേ, സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയിൽ പ്രതീക്ഷയർപ്പിക്കുന്നവർ ഞാൻമൂലം അപമാനിതരാകരുതേ; ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമേ, അങ്ങയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവർ ഞാൻമൂലം ലജ്ജിതരാകരുതേ.

Let not them that wait on thee, O LORD God of hosts, be ashamed for my sake: let not those that seek thee be confounded for my sake, O God of Israel.

7 കാരണം അങ്ങേക്കുവേണ്ടി ഞാൻ നിന്ദ സഹിക്കുന്നു എന്റെ മുഖം ലജ്ജകൊണ്ട് മൂടപ്പെടുന്നു.

Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face.

8 എന്റെ സഹോദരങ്ങൾക്ക് ഞാൻ ഒരു പ്രവാസിയും എന്റെ മാതാവിന്റെ മക്കൾക്കൊരു അപരിചിതനും ആകുന്നു;

I am become a stranger to my brethren, and an alien to my mother's children.

9 അങ്ങയുടെ ആലയത്തെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള തീക്ഷ്ണത എന്നെ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചുകളയുന്നു അങ്ങയെ അപമാനിക്കുന്നവരുടെ നിന്ദയും എന്റെമേൽ വീണിരിക്കുന്നു.

For the zeal of thy house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee have fallen upon me.

10 ഞാൻ വിലപിക്കുകയും ഉപവസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ എനിക്ക് നിന്ദ സഹിക്കേണ്ടിവരുന്നു;

When I wept, [and chastened] my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach.

11 ഞാൻ ചാക്കുശീലധരിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവർക്കു ഞാനൊരു പഴമൊഴിയായിത്തീരുന്നു.

I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.

12 നഗരകവാടത്തിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നവർ എന്നെ പരിഹസിക്കുന്നു, മദ്യപർക്ക് ഞാനൊരു ഗാനമായിരിക്കുന്നു.

They that sit in the gate speak against me; and I [was] the song of the drunkards.

13 എന്നാൽ യഹോവേ, അവിടത്തെ പ്രസാദകാലത്ത്, ഞാൻ അങ്ങയോട് പ്രാർഥിക്കുന്നു; ദൈവമേ, അങ്ങയുടെ മഹാസ്നേഹംനിമിത്തം അങ്ങയുടെ രക്ഷാവിശ്വസ്തതയാൽ എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളണമേ.

But as for me, my prayer [is] to thee, O LORD, [in] an acceptable time: O God, in the multitude of thy mercy hear me, in the truth of thy salvation.

14 ചേറ്റുകുഴിയിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ മോചിപ്പിക്കണമേ, ഞാനതിൽ ആഴ്ന്നുപോകാൻ അനുവദിക്കരുതേ; എന്നെ വെറുക്കുന്നവരിൽനിന്നും ആഴമേറിയ ജലാശയത്തിൽനിന്നും എന്നെ വിടുവിക്കണമേ.

Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

15 ജലപ്രവാഹം എന്നെ മുക്കിക്കളയുന്നതിനോ ആഴങ്ങൾ എന്നെ വിഴുങ്ങിക്കളയുന്നതിനോ ഗർത്തങ്ങൾ എന്നെ അവയുടെയുള്ളിൽ ബന്ധിച്ചിടുന്നതിനോ അനുവദിക്കരുതേ.

Let not the water-flood overflow me, neither let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut her mouth upon me.

16 യഹോവേ, അവിടത്തെ സ്നേഹമാഹാത്മ്യത്താൽ എനിക്കുത്തരമരുളണമേ; അവിടത്തെ കരുണാധിക്യത്താൽ എന്നിലേക്കു തിരിയണമേ.

Hear me, O LORD; for thy loving-kindness [is] good: turn to me according to the multitude of thy tender mercies.

17 അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസനിൽനിന്നു തിരുമുഖം മറയ്ക്കരുതേ; ഞാൻ കഷ്ടതയിൽ ആയിരിക്കുകയാൽ വേഗത്തിൽ എനിക്ക് ഉത്തരമരുളണമേ.

And hide not thy face from thy servant; for I am in trouble: hear me speedily.

18 എന്നോട് അടുത്തുവന്ന് എന്നെ മോചിപ്പിക്കണമേ; എന്റെ ശത്രുക്കൾനിമിത്തം എന്നെ വീണ്ടുകൊള്ളണമേ.

Draw nigh to my soul, [and] redeem it: deliver me because of my enemies.

19 ഞാൻ സഹിക്കുന്ന നിന്ദയും അപമാനവും ലജ്ജയും അങ്ങ് അറിയുന്നു; എന്റെ എല്ലാ ശത്രുക്കളും തിരുമുമ്പിലുണ്ടല്ലോ.

Thou hast known my reproach, and my shame, and my dishonor: my adversaries [are] all before thee.

20 നിന്ദ എന്റെ ഹൃദയത്തെ തകർത്തിരിക്കുന്നു അത് എന്നെ നിസ്സഹായനാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഞാൻ മനസ്സലിവിനായി ചുറ്റും പരതി, എന്നാൽ എനിക്കൊരിടത്തുനിന്നും ലഭിച്ചില്ല, ആശ്വസിപ്പിക്കുന്നവർക്കായി കാത്തിരുന്നു, എന്നാൽ ആരെയും കണ്ടെത്തിയില്ല.

Reproach hath broken my heart; and I am full of heaviness: and I looked [for some] to take pity, but [there was] none; and for comforters, but I found none.

21 അവർ എന്റെ ഭക്ഷണത്തിൽ കയ്‌പുകലർത്തി എന്റെ ദാഹത്തിന് കുടിക്കാൻ അവർ വിന്നാഗിരി തന്നു.

They gave me also gall for my food; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

22 അവരുടെ ഭക്ഷണമേശ അവർക്കൊരു കെണിയായിത്തീരട്ടെ; അവരുടെ സമൃദ്ധി അവർക്കൊരു കുരുക്കായിത്തീരട്ടെ.

Let their table become a snare before them: and [that which should have been] for [their] welfare, [let it become] a trap.

23 കാണാൻ കഴിയാതവണ്ണം അവരുടെ കണ്ണുകൾ ഇരുണ്ടുപോകട്ടെ, അവരുടെ അരക്കെട്ടുകൾ എന്നേക്കുമായി കുനിഞ്ഞുപോകട്ടെ.

Let their eyes be darkened, that they see not; and make their loins continually to shake.

24 അങ്ങയുടെ കോപം അവരുടെമേൽ ചൊരിയണമേ; അവിടത്തെ ഭീകരകോപം അവരെ കീഴടക്കട്ടെ.

Pour out thy indignation upon them, and let thy wrathful anger take hold of them.

25 അവരുടെ വാസസ്ഥലം വിജനമായിത്തീരട്ടെ; അവരുടെ കൂടാരങ്ങളിൽ ആരും വസിക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ.

Let their habitation be desolate; [and] let none dwell in their tents.

26 കാരണം അങ്ങ് മുറിവേൽപ്പിച്ചവരെ അവർ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നു അങ്ങ് മുറിവേൽപ്പിച്ചവരുടെ വേദനയെപ്പറ്റി അവർ ചർച്ചചെയ്യുന്നു.

For they persecute [him] whom thou hast smitten; and they talk to the grief of those whom thou hast wounded.

27 അവരുടെ കുറ്റത്തിനുമേൽ കുറ്റം കൂട്ടണമേ; അവർ അങ്ങയുടെ രക്ഷയിൽ പങ്കുകാരാകാൻ അനുവദിക്കരുതേ.

Add iniquity to their iniquity: and let them not come into thy righteousness.

28 ജീവന്റെ പുസ്തകത്തിൽനിന്ന് അവരുടെ പേരുകൾ മായിച്ചുകളയണമേ നീതിനിഷ്ഠരോടുകൂടെ അവരെ എണ്ണുകയുമരുതേ.

Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

29 ഞാൻ പീഡനത്തിലും വേദനയിലും ആയിരിക്കുന്നു— ദൈവമേ, അവിടത്തെ രക്ഷ എന്നെ സംരക്ഷിക്കണമേ.

But I [am] poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.

30 ഞാൻ പാട്ടോടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നാമം സ്തുതിക്കും സ്തോത്രാർപ്പണത്തോടെ അവിടത്തെ മഹത്ത്വപ്പെടുത്തും.

I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

31 ഇത് യഹോവയ്ക്ക് ഒരു കാളയെ, കൊമ്പും കുളമ്പുമുള്ള കാളക്കൂറ്റനെ, യാഗമർപ്പിക്കുന്നതിലും പ്രസാദകരമായിരിക്കും.

[This] also shall please the LORD better than an ox [or] bullock that hath horns and hoofs.

32 പീഡിതർ അതുകണ്ടു സന്തുഷ്ടരാകും— ദൈവത്തെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ഹൃദയം സജീവമാകട്ടെ!

The humble shall see [this], [and] be glad: and your heart shall live that seek God.

33 യഹോവ ദരിദ്രരുടെ അപേക്ഷ കേൾക്കും; തന്റെ ബന്ധിതരായവരെ നിരാകരിക്കുകയുമില്ല.

For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.

34 ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും അവിടത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കട്ടെ, സമുദ്രങ്ങളും അതിൽ സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്ന സമസ്തവുംതന്നെ,

Let the heaven and earth praise him, the seas, and every thing that moveth therein.

35 കാരണം ദൈവം സീയോനെ രക്ഷിക്കുകയും അവിടന്ന് യെഹൂദാനഗരങ്ങളെ പുനർനിർമിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. അപ്പോൾ അങ്ങയുടെ ജനം അവിടെ പാർത്ത് അത് കൈവശമാക്കും;

For God will save Zion, and will build the cities of Judah: that they may dwell there, and have it in possession.

36 അവിടത്തെ സേവകരുടെ മക്കൾ അതിനെ അവകാശമാക്കുകയും തിരുനാമത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവർ അവിടെ അധിവസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും.

The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.
