O God, thou hast cast us off, thou hast scattered us, thou hast been displeased: restore us again.

2 അവിടന്ന് ദേശത്തെ വിറപ്പിച്ച് പിളർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അതിന്റെ പിളർപ്പുകൾ നന്നാക്കണമേ, കാരണം അത് ആടിയുലയുന്നു.

Thou hast made the earth to tremble, thou hast rent it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

Thou hast shewn thy people hard things; thou hast made us to drink the wine of bewilderment.

4 എങ്കിലും അവിടത്തെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവർക്ക് അങ്ങ് ഒരു വിജയപതാക ഉയർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു ശത്രുവിന്റെ വില്ലിനെതിരേ ഉയർത്തിപ്പിടിക്കാൻ കഴിയുന്ന പതാകതന്നെ. (സേലാ)

Thou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, that it may be displayed because of the truth, (Selah)

5 ഞങ്ങളെ രക്ഷിക്കണമേ, അവിടത്തെ വലംകരത്താൽ ഞങ്ങളെ സഹായിക്കണമേ, അങ്ങനെ അവിടത്തേക്ക് പ്രിയരായവരെ വിടുവിക്കണമേ.

That thy beloved ones may be delivered. Save with thy right hand, and answer me.

God hath spoken in his holiness: I will exult, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

7 ഗിലെയാദ് എനിക്കുള്ളത്, മനശ്ശെയും എന്റേത്; എഫ്രയീം എന്റെ ശിരോകവചവും യെഹൂദാ എന്റെ ചെങ്കോലും ആകുന്നു.

Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine, and Ephraim is the strength of my head; Judah is my law-giver;

8 മോവാബ് എനിക്ക് കഴുകുന്നതിനുള്ള പാത്രം ഏദോമിന്മേൽ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ചെരിപ്പ് എറിയും; ഫെലിസ്ത്യദേശത്തിന്മേൽ ഞാൻ ജയഘോഷം മുഴക്കും.”

Moab is my wash-pot; upon Edom will I cast my sandal; Philistia, shout aloud because of me.

9 കോട്ടമതിൽ കെട്ടിയുറപ്പിച്ച നഗരത്തിലേക്ക് ആരെന്നെ ആനയിക്കും? ഏദോമിലേക്ക് എന്നെ ആര് നയിക്കും?

Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me unto Edom?

10 ദൈവമേ, അങ്ങ് അല്ലയോ, അവിടന്നല്ലയോ ഇപ്പോൾ ഞങ്ങളെ തിരസ്കരിച്ചത്! ഞങ്ങളുടെ സൈന്യവ്യൂഹത്തോടൊപ്പം പോർമുഖത്തേക്ക് വരുന്നതുമില്ലല്ലോ?

[Wilt] not thou, O God, who didst cast us off? and didst not go forth, O God, with our armies?

11 ശത്രുക്കൾക്കുമുമ്പിൽ ഞങ്ങളെ സഹായിക്കണമേ, മനുഷ്യന്റെ സഹായം യാതൊരു പ്രയോജനവുമില്ലാത്തതാണല്ലോ.

Give us help from trouble; for vain is man's deliverance.

12 ദൈവത്തോടൊപ്പം നാം വിജയം കൈവരിക്കും, അങ്ങനെ അവിടന്ന് നമ്മുടെ ശത്രുക്കളെ ചവിട്ടിമെതിച്ചുകളയും.

Through God we shall do valiantly; and he it is that will tread down our adversaries.
