സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 43

1 എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, എനിക്കു ന്യായംപാലിച്ചുതരണമേ, ഭക്തിഹീനരായ ഒരു ജനതയ്ക്കെതിരേ എനിക്കുവേണ്ടി അവിടന്നു വാദിക്കണമേ. വഞ്ചകരും ദുഷ്ടരുമായവരിൽനിന്ന് എന്നെ മോചിപ്പിക്കണമേ.

Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation; deliver me from the deceitful and unrighteous man.

2 അവിടന്ന് ദൈവമാകുന്നു, എന്റെ ഉറപ്പുള്ളകോട്ട. അവിടന്ന് എന്നെ ഉപേക്ഷിച്ചത് എന്തിന്? ശത്രുവിന്റെ പീഡനം സഹിച്ച് ഞാൻ വിലപിച്ച് ഉഴലേണ്ടിവരുന്നത് എന്തിന്?

For thou art the God of my strength: why hast thou cast me off? why go I about mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?

3 അവിടത്തെ പ്രകാശവും സത്യവും അയയ്ക്കണമേ, അവ എന്നെ നയിക്കട്ടെ; അവിടത്തെ വിശുദ്ധപർവതത്തിലേക്ക് അവയെന്നെ ആനയിക്കട്ടെ, അങ്ങയുടെ തിരുനിവാസസ്ഥാനത്തേക്കും.

Send out thy light and thy truth: they shall lead me, they shall bring me to thy holy mount, and unto thy habitations.

4 അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ യാഗപീഠത്തിലേക്ക്, എന്റെ ആനന്ദവും പ്രമോദവുമായിരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവത്തിലേക്കു ഞാൻ ചെല്ലും. ഓ ദൈവമേ, എന്റെ ദൈവമേ, വീണ മീട്ടി ഞാൻ അങ്ങയെ സ്തുതിക്കും.

Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto the God of the gladness of my joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God.

5 എന്റെ ആത്മാവേ, നീ എന്തിനു വിഷാദിക്കുന്നു? നീ അന്തരംഗത്തിൽ എന്തിന് അസ്വസ്ഥനായിക്കഴിയുന്നു? ദൈവത്തിൽ പ്രത്യാശയർപ്പിക്കുക, എന്റെ രക്ഷകനും എന്റെ ദൈവവുമേ, ഞാൻ ഇനിയും അവിടത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തും.

Why art thou cast down, my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope in God; for I shall yet praise him, [who is] the health of my countenance, and my God.
