സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 33
1 നീതിനിഷ്ഠരേ, ആനന്ദത്തോടെ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് പാടുക; പരമാർഥികളുടെ സ്തുതി ഉചിതംതന്നെ.
Rejoice, O ye righteous, in the LORD! For praise becometh the upright.
2 കിന്നരംകൊണ്ട് യഹോവയെ ഞാൻ വാഴ്ത്തുക; പത്തുകമ്പിയുള്ള വീണകൊണ്ട് അവിടത്തേക്ക് സംഗീതം ആലപിക്കുക.
Praise the LORD with the harp; Sing to him with the ten-stringed psaltery!
3 അവിടത്തേക്ക് ഒരു നവഗാനം ആലപിക്കുക; വൈദഗ്ദ്ധ്യത്തോടെ വാദ്യങ്ങളിൽ ആനന്ദസ്വരം മുഴക്കുക.
Sing to him a new song; Play skilfully amid the sound of trumpets!
4 കാരണം, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം നീതിയുക്തമാകുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ എല്ലാ പ്രവൃത്തികളിലും വിശ്വസ്തൻതന്നെ.
For the word of the LORD is right, And all his acts are faithful.
5 യഹോവ നീതിയും ന്യായവും ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹത്താൽ ഭൂമണ്ഡലം നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.
He loveth justice and equity; The earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
6 യഹോവയുടെ വചനത്താൽ ആകാശം സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെട്ടു, തിരുവായിലെ ശ്വാസത്താൽ താരഗണങ്ങളും.
By the word of the LORD were the heavens made, And all the hosts of them by the breath of his mouth.
7 അവിടന്ന് സമുദ്രജലരാശിയെ കൂമ്പാരമായി കൂട്ടുന്നു; ആഴിയെ കലവറകളിൽ സംഭരിക്കുന്നു.
He gathereth the waters of the sea, as a heap; He layeth up the deep in storehouses.
8 സർവഭൂമിയും യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെടട്ടെ; ഭൂസീമവാസികളെല്ലാം തിരുമുമ്പിൽ ഭയഭക്തിയോടെ നിലകൊള്ളട്ടെ.
Let all the earth fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him!
9 കാരണം, അവിടന്ന് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു, അവയുണ്ടായി; അവിടന്ന് കൽപ്പിച്ചു, അവ സ്ഥാപിതമായി.
For he spake, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.
10 യഹോവ രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളുടെ പദ്ധതികൾ നിഷ്ഫലമാക്കുന്നു; ജനതകളുടെ ആലോചനകൾ വിഫലമാക്കുന്നു.
The LORD bringeth the devices of the nations to nothing; He frustrateth the designs of kingdoms.
11 എന്നാൽ യഹോവയുടെ പദ്ധതികൾ എന്നെന്നേക്കും സ്ഥിരമായിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ ഹൃദയവിചാരങ്ങൾ തലമുറതലമുറകളോളവും.
The purposes of the LORD stand for ever; The designs of his heart, to all generations.
12 യഹോവ ദൈവമായിരിക്കുന്ന രാഷ്ട്രം അനുഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെട്ടത്, അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ അവകാശമായി തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട ജനതയും.
Happy the nation whose God is Jehovah; The people whom he hath chosen for his inheritance.
13 യഹോവ സ്വർഗത്തിൽനിന്നു താഴേക്കു നോക്കുന്നു; സകലമാനവവംശത്തെയും വീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു;
The LORD looketh down from heaven; He beholdeth all the children of men;
14 അവിടന്നു തന്റെ നിവാസസ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്ന് ഭൂമിയിലെ സകലനിവാസികളെയും നിരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു—
From his dwelling-place he beholdeth all the inhabitants of the earth, —
15 അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെയെല്ലാം ഹൃദയങ്ങളെ രൂപപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു, അവരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികളെല്ലാം അവിടന്ന് ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുന്നു.
He that formed the hearts of all, And observeth all their works.
16 സൈന്യബലത്താൽ ഒരു രാജാവും വിജയശ്രീലാളിതനാകുന്നില്ല; തന്റെ കായികബലത്താൽ ഒരു സേനാനിയും രക്ഷപ്പെടുന്നില്ല.
A king is not saved by the number of his forces, Nor a hero by the greatness of his strength.
17 പടക്കുതിരയെക്കൊണ്ട് വിജയിക്കാമെന്ന ആശ വ്യർഥം; അതിന്റെ വൻശക്തിയാൽ, നിന്നെ രക്ഷിക്കാൻ അതിനു കഴിയുകയുമില്ല.
The horse is a vain thing for safety, Nor can he deliver his master by his great strength.
18 എന്നാൽ യഹോവയുടെ ദൃഷ്ടി തന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവരിലും അവിടത്തെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹത്തിൽ പ്രത്യാശ അർപ്പിക്കുന്നവരിലുമുണ്ട്,
Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, —Upon them that trust in his goodness;
19 അവിടന്നവരെ മരണത്തിൽനിന്ന് മോചിപ്പിക്കുകയും ക്ഷാമകാലത്ത് അവരുടെ ജീവൻ രക്ഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
To save them from the power of death, And keep them alive in famine.
20 എന്റെയുള്ളം യഹോവയ്ക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു; അവിടന്നു നമ്മുടെ സഹായവും പരിചയും ആകുന്നു.
The hope of our souls is in the LORD; He is our help and our shield.
21 നമ്മുടെ ഹൃദയം യഹോവയിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കുന്നു, കാരണം, അവിടത്തെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തെ നാം ശരണംപ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.
Yea, in him doth our heart rejoice; In his holy name we have confidence.
22 ഞങ്ങൾ അങ്ങയിൽ പ്രത്യാശ അർപ്പിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ യഹോവേ, അവിടത്തെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹം ഞങ്ങളോടൊപ്പം ഉണ്ടാകണമേ.
May thy goodness be upon us, O LORD! According as we trust in thee!
