സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 32
1 ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു ധ്യാനസങ്കീർത്തനം. ലംഘനം ക്ഷമിച്ചും പാപം മറച്ചും കിട്ടിയ മനുഷ്യർ, അനുഗൃഹീതർ.
[A Psalm] of David. Maschil. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
2 യഹോവ, പാപം കണക്കാക്കാതെയും ആത്മാവിൽ കപടമില്ലാതെയും ഇരിക്കുന്ന മനുഷ്യർ, അനുഗൃഹീതർ.
Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
3 ഞാൻ എന്റെ പാപം ഏറ്റുപറയാതെ, ദിവസംമുഴുവനും ഞരങ്ങിക്കരയുകമൂലം എന്റെ അസ്ഥികൾ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോയി.
When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
4 രാവും പകലും അങ്ങയുടെ കരം എന്റെമേൽ ഭാരമായിരുന്നു; വേനൽക്കാലത്തിലെ ചൂടുകൊണ്ടെന്നപോലെ എന്റെ ബലം ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോയിരിക്കുന്നു. (സേലാ)
For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture was changed [as] with the drought of summer. (Selah)
5 അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ എന്റെ പാപം അങ്ങയോട് ഏറ്റുപറഞ്ഞു എന്റെ അകൃത്യമൊന്നും മറച്ചുവെച്ചതുമില്ല. “എന്റെ കുറ്റം യഹോവയോട് ഏറ്റുപറയും,” എന്നു ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോൾ എന്റെ പാപത്തിന്റെ കുറ്റം അങ്ങു ക്ഷമിച്ചുതന്നു. (സേലാ)
I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid: I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. (Selah)
6 അതുകൊണ്ട് ദൈവഭക്തരായ ഓരോരുത്തരും അവസരം നഷ്ടപ്പെടുത്താതെ അങ്ങയോടു പ്രാർഥിക്കട്ടെ; അങ്ങനെയെങ്കിൽ പ്രളയജലത്തിന്റെ ഭീകരപ്രഭാവം അവരെ എത്തിപ്പിടിക്കുകയില്ല.
For this let every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely when the great waters overflow they shall not reach unto him.
7 അവിടന്ന് എന്റെ ഒളിയിടം ആകുന്നു; ക്ലേശങ്ങളിൽ അവിടന്ന് എനിക്കു സംരക്ഷണമേകുന്നു; രക്ഷയുടെ ജയഭേരിയാൽ എനിക്കു വലയം തീർക്കുന്നു. (സേലാ)
Thou art my hiding place; thou wilt preserve me from trouble; thou wilt compass me about with songs of deliverance. (Selah)
8 നീ ഗമിക്കേണ്ടുന്ന പാത ഏതെന്നു നിന്നെ ഉപദേശിച്ചു പഠിപ്പിക്കും; നിന്റെമേൽ ദൃഷ്ടിവെച്ച് ഞാൻ നിനക്കു ബുദ്ധിയുപദേശം നൽകും.
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will counsel thee with mine eye upon thee.
9 വിവേകശൂന്യമായ കുതിരയെയോ കോവർകഴുതയെയോപോലെ നീ പെരുമാറരുത്, അവയെ വരുതിയിലാക്കാൻ കടിഞ്ഞാണും കടിയിരുമ്പും ഉപയോഗിക്കേണ്ടതായി വരുന്നു അല്ലാത്തപക്ഷം നിനക്കവയെ നിയന്ത്രിക്കുക അസാധ്യം.
Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose trappings must be bit and bridle to hold them in, [else] they will not come near unto thee.
10 ദുഷ്ടരുടെ അനർഥങ്ങൾ അസംഖ്യം, എന്നാൽ യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നവരെ അവിടത്തെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹം വലയംചെയ്യുന്നു.
Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
11 നീതിനിഷ്ഠരേ, യഹോവയിൽ സന്തോഷിച്ചാനന്ദിക്കുക; ഹൃദയപരമാർഥികളേ, ആനന്ദിച്ചാർക്കുക!
Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
