സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 29

1 ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. ദൈവപുത്രന്മാരേ, യഹോവയ്ക്കു കൊടുക്കുക, യഹോവയ്ക്കു മഹത്ത്വവും ശക്തിയും കൊടുക്കുക.

A Psalm of David. Give unto the LORD, O ye sons of the mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

2 യഹോവയ്ക്ക് അവിടത്തെ നാമത്തിനുതക്ക മഹത്ത്വംകൊടുക്കുക; യഹോവയുടെ വിശുദ്ധിയുടെ പ്രതാപത്തിന് അനുസൃതമായി അവിടത്തെ ആരാധിക്കുക.

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

3 യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം ആഴിക്കുമീതേ മുഴങ്ങുന്നു; മഹത്ത്വത്തിന്റെ ദൈവം ഇടിമുഴക്കുന്നു, യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം പെരുവെള്ളത്തിനുമീതേ മുഴങ്ങുന്നു.

The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth, even the LORD upon many waters.

4 യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം ശക്തിയുള്ളതാണ്; യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം പ്രതാപമേറിയതാണ്.

The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

5 യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം ദേവദാരുക്കളെ പിളർക്കുന്നു യഹോവ ലെബാനോനിലെ ദേവദാരുക്കളെ തകർക്കുന്നു.

The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.

6 അവിടന്ന് ലെബാനോനെ ഒരു കാളക്കിടാവിനെപ്പോലെ തുള്ളിച്ചാടിക്കുന്നു, ശിര്യോനെ ഒരു കാട്ടുകാളക്കിടാവിനെപ്പോലെയും.

He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild-ox.

7 യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം അഗ്നിജ്വാലകളെ ഉതിർക്കുന്നു

The voice of the LORD cleaveth the flames of fire.

8 യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം മരുഭൂമിയെ പ്രകമ്പനംകൊള്ളിക്കുന്നു; യഹോവ കാദേശ് മരുഭൂമിയെ നടുക്കുന്നു.

The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.

9 യഹോവയുടെ ശബ്ദം വന്മരങ്ങളെ ചുഴറ്റുന്നു വനത്തെ തോലുരിച്ച് നഗ്നമാക്കുന്നു. കർത്താവിന്റെ ആലയത്തിൽ എല്ലാവരും “മഹത്ത്വം!” എന്ന് ആർപ്പിടുന്നു.

The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and strippeth the forests bare: and in his temple every thing saith, Glory.

10 യഹോവ ജലപ്രളയത്തിനുമീതേ സിംഹാസനസ്ഥനായിരിക്കുന്നു യഹോവ എന്നേക്കും രാജാവായി വാഴുന്നു.

The LORD sat [as king] at the Flood; yea, the LORD sitteth as king for ever.

11 യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിനു ശക്തിനൽകുന്നു; യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തിനു സമാധാനമരുളി അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു.

The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
