സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 15

1 ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. യഹോവേ, അവിടത്തെ കൂടാരത്തിൽ ആർ പാർക്കും? അവിടത്തെ വിശുദ്ധപർവതത്തിൽ ആർ വസിക്കും?

A Psalm of David. Jehovah, who shall sojourn in thy tent? who shall dwell in the hill of thy holiness?

2 കളങ്കരഹിതരായി ജീവിക്കുകയും നീതിനിഷ്ഠയോടെ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയും ഹൃദയത്തിൽനിന്നു സത്യം സംസാരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവർ;

He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth from his heart.

3 തങ്ങളുടെ നാവ് പരദൂഷണത്തിനായി ഉപയോഗിക്കാതെയും അയൽവാസിയെ ദ്രോഹിക്കാതെയും കൂട്ടുകാർക്ക് അപമാനം വരുത്താതെയുമിരിക്കുന്നവർ;

[He that] slandereth not with his tongue, doeth not evil to his companion, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour;

4 ദുഷ്ടരെ നിന്ദ്യരായി കാണുകയും യഹോവാഭക്തരെ ബഹുമാനിക്കുകയും; നഷ്ടം സഹിക്കേണ്ടിവന്നാലും ചെയ്ത ശപഥത്തിൽനിന്ന് വാക്കുമാറാതിരിക്കുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നവർ;

In whose eyes the depraved person is contemned, and who honoureth them that fear Jehovah; who, if he have sworn to his own hurt, changeth it not;

5 പണം കടം കൊടുത്തിട്ട് പലിശവാങ്ങാതിരിക്കുന്നവർ; നിരപരാധിക്കെതിരേ കോഴ വാങ്ങാതിരിക്കുന്നവരുംതന്നെ. ഇങ്ങനെ ജീവിക്കുന്നവർ ഒരുനാളും കുലുങ്ങിപ്പോകുകയില്ല.

[He that] putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these [things] shall never be moved.
