സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 147
1 യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക. നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിനു സ്തുതിപാടുന്നത് എത്രയോ നല്ലത്, അവിടത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കുന്നത് എത്ര മനോഹരവും ഉചിതവും ആകുന്നു!
Hallelujah; for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is comely; [him] becometh praise.
2 യഹോവ ജെറുശലേമിനെ പണിയുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് ഇസ്രായേലിലെ അഭയാർഥികളെ കൂട്ടിച്ചേർക്കുന്നു.
The Lord buildeth up Jerusalem: the outcasts of Israel will he gather together;
3 ഹൃദയം തകർന്നവരെ അവിടന്ന് സൗഖ്യമാക്കുകയും അവരുടെ മുറിവുകൾ കെട്ടുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
He that healeth the broken-hearted, and bindeth up their hurts;
4 അവിടന്ന് നക്ഷത്രങ്ങളുടെ എണ്ണം കണക്കാക്കുന്നു അവ ഓരോന്നിനെയും പേരുവിളിക്കുന്നു.
Who counteth the number of the stars; who calleth them all by [their] names.
5 നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവ് വലിയവനും ശക്തിയിൽ പ്രബലനുമാകുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ വിവേകത്തിന് പരിമിതികളില്ല.
Great is our Lord, and abundant in power: his understanding is immeasurable.
6 യഹോവ വിനയാന്വിതരെ പരിപാലിക്കുന്നു എന്നാൽ ദുഷ്ടരെ അവിടന്ന് തറപറ്റിക്കുന്നു.
The Lord helpeth up the meek: he bringeth down the wicked to the ground.
7 യഹോവയ്ക്ക് നന്ദിയോടെ പാടുക; കിന്നരംമീട്ടി നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന് സംഗീതം ആലപിക്കുക.
Lift up a song unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praises unto our God with the harp;
8 അവിടന്ന് ആകാശത്തെ മേഘങ്ങൾകൊണ്ട് പൊതിയുന്നു; അവിടന്ന് ഭൂമിക്കായി മഴ പൊഴിക്കുകയും കുന്നുകളിൽ പുല്ല് മുളപ്പിക്കുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നു.
Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who causeth grass to grow upon the mountains;
9 അവിടന്ന് കന്നുകാലികൾക്കും കരയുന്ന കാക്കക്കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾക്കും ആഹാരം നൽകുന്നു.
Who giveth to the beast its food, to the young ravens which cry.
10 കുതിരകളുടെ ബലത്തിലല്ല അവിടന്ന് ആഹ്ലാദിക്കുന്നത്, യോദ്ധാക്കളുടെ പാദബലത്തിലും അവിടത്തേക്ക് പ്രസാദം തോന്നുന്നില്ല;
Not in the strength of the horse hath he delight: nor in the [swiftness of the] legs of man taketh he pleasure.
11 തന്നെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവരിൽ യഹോവയ്ക്ക് പ്രസാദമുണ്ടാകുന്നു, അവിടത്തെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹത്തിൽ പ്രത്യാശയർപ്പിക്കുന്നവരുടെമേലും.
The Lord taketh pleasure in those that fear him, that wait for his kindness.
12 ജെറുശലേമേ, യഹോവയെ പുകഴ്ത്തുക; സീയോനേ, നിന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ സ്തുതിക്കുക.
Glorify, O Jerusalem, the Lord: praise thy God, O Zion.
13 അവിടന്ന് നിന്റെ കവാടങ്ങളുടെ ഓടാമ്പലുകളെ ബലപ്പെടുത്തുകയും നിന്നിലുള്ള നിന്റെ ജനത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children in the midst of thee;
14 അവിടന്ന് നിന്റെ അതിർത്തികൾക്കുള്ളിൽ സമാധാനം സ്ഥാപിക്കുകയും മേൽത്തരമായ ഗോതമ്പുകൊണ്ട് നിനക്കു തൃപ്തിവരുത്തുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നു.
He who bestoweth peace in thy borders, who satisfieth thee with the best of wheat;
15 അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ ആജ്ഞ ഭൂമിയിലേക്ക് അയയ്ക്കുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ ഉത്തരവുകൾ അതിവേഗം പായുന്നു.
He who sendeth forth his decree unto the earth: how swiftly speedeth his word along!
16 അവിടന്ന് കമ്പിളിരോമംപോലെ ഹിമംപൊഴിക്കുകയും ചാരംവിതറുംപോലെ മഞ്ഞ് ചിതറിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
He who dispenseth snow like wool; who streweth about the hoarfrost like ashes;
17 അവിടന്ന് ആലിപ്പഴം ചരലെന്നപോലെ ചുഴറ്റിയെറിയുന്നു. ആ മരംകോച്ചുന്ന മഞ്ഞുകാറ്റിനെ അതിജീവിക്കാൻ ആർക്കാണു കഴിയുക?
He who casteth down his ice like pieces: before his cold who can stand?
18 അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ വചനം അയച്ച് അവയെ ഉരുക്കുന്നു; അവിടന്നു ഇളംകാറ്റിനെ ഉണർത്തിവിടുന്നു, ജലപ്രവാഹം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നു.
He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and waters run along.
19 അവിടത്തെ വചനം യാക്കോബിനും അവിടത്തെ വിധികളും ഉത്തരവുകളും ഇസ്രായേലിനും വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
He declareth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his ordinances unto Israel.
20 മറ്റൊരു ജനതയ്ക്കുവേണ്ടിയും അവിടന്ന് ഇതുപോലെ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; അവിടത്തെ വിധികൾ അവർക്ക് അജ്ഞാതമാണ്. യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.
He hath not done so unto any nation: and [his] ordinances— these they know not. Hallelujah.
