സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 146

1 യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക. എൻ മനമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.

Praise ye the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul!

2 ഞാൻ എന്റെ ആയുഷ്കാലമൊക്കെയും യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തും; എന്റെ ജീവിതകാലമൊക്കെയും ഞാൻ എന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തിപ്പാടും.

I will praise the LORD, as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God, while I have my being.

3 നിങ്ങളുടെ ആശ്രയം പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരിലും രക്ഷിക്കാൻ കഴിയാത്ത മനുഷ്യരിലും ആകരുത്.

Put not your trust in princes, In the son of man, in whom is no help!

4 അവരുടെ ആത്മാവ് വേർപെടുമ്പോൾ, അവർ മണ്ണിലേക്കുതന്നെ തിരികെച്ചേരുന്നു; അന്നുതന്നെ അവരുടെ പദ്ധതികളും മണ്ണടിയുന്നു.

His breath goeth forth; he returneth to the dust; In that very day his plans perish.

5 യാക്കോബിന്റെ ദൈവം തന്റെ സഹായവും അവരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയിൽ പ്രത്യാശയും അർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നവർ അനുഗൃഹീതർ.

Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help; Whose hope is in the LORD, his God;

6 ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും സമുദ്രവും അവയിലുള്ള സർവത്തിന്റെയും സ്രഷ്ടാവ് അവിടന്നാണ്— അവിടന്ന് എന്നെന്നും വിശ്വസ്തനായിരിക്കുന്നു.

Who made heaven and earth, The sea, and all that is therein; Who keepeth truth for ever;

7 പീഡിതർക്ക് അവിടന്ന് നീതി നിർവഹിച്ചുകൊടുക്കുകയും വിശന്നിരിക്കുന്നവർക്ക് ആഹാരം നൽകുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നു. യഹോവ തടവുകാരെ മോചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു,

Who executeth judgment for the oppressed; Who giveth food to the hungry. The LORD setteth free the prisoners;

8 യഹോവ അന്ധർക്ക് കാഴ്ചനൽകുന്നു, യഹോവ കുനിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നവരെ ഉയർത്തുന്നു, യഹോവ നീതിനിഷ്ഠരെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind; The LORD raiseth up them that are bowed down; The LORD loveth the righteous.

9 യഹോവ പ്രവാസികളെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുകയും അനാഥരെയും വിധവമാരെയും പരിപാലിക്കുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നു, എന്നാൽ അവിടന്ന് ദുഷ്ടരുടെ പദ്ധതികൾ വിഫലമാക്കുന്നു.

The LORD preserveth the strangers; He relieveth the fatherless and the widow; But the way of the wicked he maketh crooked.

10 യഹോവ എന്നേക്കും വാഴുന്നു, സീയോനേ, നിന്റെ ദൈവം എല്ലാ തലമുറകളിലും. യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.

The LORD shall reign for ever; Thy God, O Zion! to all generations! Praise ye the LORD!
