സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 135
1 യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക. യഹോവയുടെ നാമത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തുക; യഹോവയുടെ ശുശ്രൂഷകരേ, അവിടത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തുക,
Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise [him], O ye servants of the LORD.
2 യഹോവയുടെ ആലയത്തിൽ— നമ്മുടെ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലയാങ്കണത്തിൽ—ശുശ്രൂഷിക്കുന്നവരേ,
Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,
3 യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക, കാരണം യഹോവ നല്ലവൻ ആകുന്നു; തിരുനാമത്തിന് സ്തുതിഗീതം ആലപിക്കുക, അതു മനോഹരമല്ലോ.
Praise the LORD; for the LORD [is] good; sing praises to his name; for [it is] pleasant.
4 യഹോവ യാക്കോബിനെ തനിക്കു സ്വന്തമായും ഇസ്രായേലിനെ തനിക്കു വിലപ്പെട്ട നിക്ഷേപമായും തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.
For the LORD hath chosen Jacob to himself, [and] Israel for his peculiar treasure.
5 യഹോവ ഉന്നതൻ ആകുന്നു എന്നും നമ്മുടെ കർത്താവ് സകലദേവന്മാരിലും ഔന്നത്യമുള്ളവനെന്നും ഞാൻ അറിയുന്നു.
For I know that the LORD [is] great, and [that] our LORD [is] above all gods.
6 ആകാശത്തിലും ഭൂമിയിലും സമുദ്രങ്ങളിലും അതിന്റെ എല്ലാ ആഴങ്ങളിലും യഹോവ തനിക്ക് ഇഷ്ടമുള്ളതൊക്കെയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
Whatever the LORD pleased, [that] did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.
7 അവിടന്ന് ഭൂമിയുടെ അതിർത്തികളിൽനിന്ന് മേഘങ്ങൾ ഉയരുമാറാക്കുന്നു; മഴയോടൊപ്പം അവിടന്ന് മിന്നലിനെ അയയ്ക്കുന്നു അവിടത്തെ കലവറകളിൽനിന്ന് കാറ്റിനെ സ്വതന്ത്രമാക്കുന്നു.
He causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
8 അവിടന്ന് ഈജിപ്റ്റിലെ ആദ്യജാതന്മാരെ ഉന്മൂലനംചെയ്തു, മനുഷ്യരുടെയും മൃഗങ്ങളുടെയും ആദ്യജാതന്മാരെത്തന്നെ.
Who smote the first-born of Egypt, both of man and beast.
9 ഈജിപ്റ്റുദേശമേ, അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ ചിഹ്നങ്ങളും അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും നിങ്ങളുടെ മധ്യത്തിൽ അയച്ചില്ലയോ, ഫറവോന്റെയും അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സേവകവൃന്ദത്തിനും എതിരേതന്നെ.
[Who] sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.
10 അവിടന്ന് അനേകം രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളെ തകർക്കുകയും ശക്തരായ രാജാക്കന്മാരെ സംഹരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു—
Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;
11 അമോര്യരുടെ രാജാവായ സീഹോനെയും ബാശാൻരാജാവായ ഓഗിനെയും കനാനിലെ എല്ലാ രാജാക്കന്മാരെയുംതന്നെ—
Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:
12 അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ രാജ്യം അവകാശമായി നൽകി, തന്റെ ജനമായ ഇസ്രായേലിന് ഒരു പൈതൃകാവകാശമായിത്തന്നെ.
And gave their land [for] a heritage, a heritage to Israel his people.
13 യഹോവേ, അവിടത്തെ നാമം, യഹോവേ, അവിടത്തെ കീർത്തി, എല്ലാ തലമുറകളിലും എന്നേക്കും നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു.
Thy name, O LORD, [endureth] for ever; [and] thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.
14 കാരണം യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ കുറ്റവിമുക്തരാക്കുന്നു അവിടത്തെ സേവകരുടെമേൽ അനുകമ്പകാട്ടുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നു.
For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent concerning his servants.
15 ജനതകളുടെ വിഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ വെള്ളിയും സ്വർണവുമാണ്, മനുഷ്യകരങ്ങളാൽ നിർമിതവുമാണ്.
The idols of the heathen [are] silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
16 അവയ്ക്കു വായുണ്ട്, എന്നാൽ സംസാരിക്കാൻ കഴിയുന്നില്ല, കണ്ണുണ്ട്, എന്നാൽ കാണാൻ കഴിയുന്നില്ല.
They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not.
17 അവയ്ക്ക് കാതുണ്ട്, എന്നാൽ കേൾക്കാൻ കഴിയുന്നില്ല, അവയുടെ വായിൽ ശ്വാസവുമില്ല.
They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there [any] breath in their mouths.
18 അവയെ നിർമിക്കുന്നവർ അവയെപ്പോലെയാകുന്നു, അവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാവരും അങ്ങനെതന്നെ.
They that make them are like them: [so is] every one that trusteth in them.
19 ഇസ്രായേൽഗൃഹമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക; അഹരോൻഗൃഹമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക;
Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:
20 ലേവിഗൃഹമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക; യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്നവരേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.
Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.
21 സീയോനിൽനിന്നുള്ള യഹോവ വാഴ്ത്തപ്പെടട്ടെ, കാരണം അവിടന്ന് ജെറുശലേമിൽ അധിവസിക്കുന്നു. യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.
Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, who dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
