1 ദാവീദിന്റെ ആരോഹണഗീതം. കണ്ടാലും, സഹോദരങ്ങൾ ഐക്യത്തോടെ വസിക്കുന്നത് എത്ര മനോഹരവും ആനന്ദകരവുമാകുന്നു!

“A song of the degrees by David.” Behold, how good and how pleasant it is! when brethren dwell closely together [in union]!

2 അതു ശിരസ്സിൽ ഒഴിക്കപ്പെട്ട്, താടിയിലേക്ക് ഒഴുകുന്ന, അഹരോന്റെ താടിയിലേക്കുതന്നെ ഒഴുകി, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വസ്ത്രാഞ്ചലത്തിലേക്കു പടരുന്ന അമൂല്യമായ അഭിഷേകതൈലംപോലെയാണ്.

[It is] like the precious oil upon the head, running down upon the beard, yea, Aaron's beard, which runneth down upon the upper border of his garments;

3 അതു സീയോൻപർവതത്തിൽ പതിക്കുന്ന ഹെർമോൻ ഹിമകണംപോലെയാണ്. യഹോവ തന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹവും ശാശ്വതജീവനും വർഷിക്കുന്നത് അവിടെയാണല്ലോ.

Like the dew of Chermon, running down upon the mountains of Zion; for there hath the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.
