സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 132

1 ആരോഹണഗീതം. യഹോവേ, ദാവീദിനെയും അദ്ദേഹം അനുഭവിച്ച എല്ലാ കഷ്ടതകളും ഓർക്കണമേ.

The song of greces. Lord, haue thou mynde on Dauid; and of al his myldenesse.

2 അദ്ദേഹം യഹോവയോട് ഒരു ശപഥംചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു, യാക്കോബിന്റെ ശക്തനായവനോട് ഒരു നേർച്ച നേർന്നിരിക്കുന്നു:

As he swoor to the Lord; he made a vowe to God of Jacob.

3 “യഹോവയ്ക്കു ഞാൻ ഒരു നിവാസസ്ഥാനം ഒരുക്കുംവരെ, യാക്കോബിന്റെ ശക്തനായവന് ഒരു വാസസ്ഥാനം കണ്ടെത്തുന്നതുവരെ,

I schal not entre in to the tabernacle of myn hous; Y schal not stie in to the bed of mi restyng.

4 ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഭവനത്തിൽ പ്രവേശിക്കുകയോ എന്റെ കിടക്കയിൽ വിശ്രമിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുകയില്ല;

I schal not yyue sleep to myn iyen; and napping to myn iye liddis.

5 ഞാൻ എന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾക്ക് ഉറക്കം കൊടുക്കുകയോ കൺപോളകളെ മയങ്ങാൻ അനുവദിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുകയില്ല.”

And rest to my templis, til Y fynde a place to the Lord; a tabernacle to God of Jacob.

6 എഫ്രാത്തയിൽ നാം അതേപ്പറ്റി കേട്ടു, യായീരിന്റെ വയലുകളിൽ നാം അതിനെ കണ്ടെത്തി:

Lo! we herden that arke of testament in Effrata, `that is, in Silo; we founden it in the feeldis of the wode.

7 “നമുക്കു തിരുനിവാസത്തിലേക്കു പോകാം അവിടത്തെ പാദപീഠത്തിൽ നമുക്ക് ആരാധിക്കാം,

We schulen entre in to the tabernacle of hym; we schulen worschipe in the place, where hise feet stoden.

8 ‘യഹോവേ, എഴുന്നേൽക്കണമേ! അവിടത്തെ വിശ്രമസ്ഥാനത്തേക്ക് എഴുന്നള്ളണമേ, അങ്ങും അങ്ങയുടെ ശക്തിയുടെ പ്രതീകമായ ഉടമ്പടിയുടെ പേടകവും.

Lord, rise thou in to thi reste; thou and the ark of thin halewing.

9 അങ്ങയുടെ പുരോഹിതവൃന്ദം നീതിയിൻവസ്ത്രം അണിയട്ടെ; അങ്ങയുടെ വിശ്വസ്തർ ആനന്ദഗാനം ആലപിക്കട്ടെ.’”

Thi prestis be clothid with riytfulnesse; and thi seyntis make ful out ioye.

10 അങ്ങയുടെ ദാസനായ ദാവീദിനെയോർത്ത്, അവിടത്തെ അഭിഷിക്തനെ തിരസ്കരിക്കരുതേ.

For Dauid, thi seruaunt; turne thou not awei the face of thi crist.

11 യഹോവ ദാവീദിനോടൊരു ശപഥംചെയ്തു, അവിടന്ന് അതിൽനിന്നൊരിക്കലും പിന്തിരിയുകയില്ല: “നിന്റെ പിൻതലമുറക്കാരിൽ ഒരുവനെ ഞാൻ നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ അവരോധിക്കും.

The Lord swoor treuthe to Dauid, and he schal not make hym veyn; of the fruyt of thi wombe Y schal sette on thi seete.

12 നിന്റെ മക്കൾ എന്റെ ഉടമ്പടി പാലിക്കുകയും ഞാൻ അഭ്യസിപ്പിച്ച എന്റെ നിയമം പിൻതുടരുകയും ചെയ്താൽ, അവരുടെ മക്കളും നിന്റെ സിംഹാസനത്തിൽ എന്നുമെന്നും വാഴും.”

If thi sones schulen kepe my testament; and my witnessingis, these whiche Y schal teche hem. And the sones of hem til in to the world; thei schulen sette on thi seete.

13 കാരണം യഹോവ സീയോനെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിരിക്കുന്നു, അതു തന്റെ നിവാസസ്ഥാനമാക്കാൻ അവിടന്ന് ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു,

For the Lord chees Sion; he chees it in to dwelling to hym silf.

14 “ഇതാണ് എന്നെന്നേക്കും എന്റെ വിശ്രമസ്ഥാനം; ഇവിടെ ഞാൻ സിംഹാസനസ്ഥനായിരിക്കും, കാരണം ഞാനതാഗ്രഹിച്ചു.

This is my reste in to the world of world; Y schal dwelle here, for Y chees it.

15 അവൾക്ക് ആവശ്യമായ വിഭവങ്ങളെല്ലാം ഞാൻ സമൃദ്ധമായി നൽകും; അവളുടെ ദരിദ്രരെ ഞാൻ ഭക്ഷണം നൽകി സംതൃപ്തരാക്കും.

I blessynge schal blesse the widewe of it; Y schal fille with looues the pore men of it.

16 അവളുടെ പുരോഹിതവൃന്ദത്തെ ഞാൻ രക്ഷ ധരിപ്പിക്കും, അവളുടെ വിശ്വസ്തർ സദാ ആനന്ദഗാനം ആലപിക്കും.

I schal clothe with heelthe the preestis therof; and the hooli men therof schulen make ful out ioye in ful reioisinge.

17 “ഇവിടെ ഞാൻ ദാവീദിന് ഒരു കൊമ്പു മുളപ്പിക്കും എന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തന് ഞാൻ ഒരു വിളക്ക് ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

Thidir Y schal bringe forth the horn of Dauid; Y made redi a lanterne to my crist.

18 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ശത്രുക്കളെ ഞാൻ ലജ്ജകൊണ്ടു പൊതിയും, എന്നാൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ശിരസ്സ് തേജോമയമായ കിരീടത്താൽ അലംകൃതമായിരിക്കും.”

I schal clothe hise enemyes with schame; but myn halewing schal floure out on hym.
