സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 130

1 ആരോഹണഗീതം. യഹോവേ, അഗാധതയിൽനിന്നു ഞാൻ അവിടത്തോടു നിലവിളിക്കുന്നു;

“A song of the degrees.” Out of the depths have I called thee, O Lord.

2 കർത്താവേ, എന്റെ ശബ്ദം കേൾക്കണമേ. കരുണയ്ക്കായുള്ള എന്റെ നിലവിളിക്കായി അങ്ങയുടെ കാതുകൾ തുറക്കണമേ.

Lord, listen to my voice: let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3 യഹോവേ, പാപങ്ങളുടെ ഒരു പട്ടിക അങ്ങു സൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നെങ്കിൽ, കർത്താവേ, തിരുമുമ്പിൽ ആർക്കാണു നിൽക്കാൻ കഴിയുക?

If thou, Lord, shouldst treasure up iniquities, O Lord, who would be able to stand?

4 എന്നാൽ തിരുസന്നിധിയിൽ പാപവിമോചനമുണ്ട്, അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞങ്ങൾ ഭയഭക്തിയോടെ അവിടത്തെ സേവിക്കുന്നു.

But with thee there is forgiveness, in order that thou mayest be feared.

5 ഞാൻ യഹോവയ്ക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു, എന്റെ ആത്മാവ് അങ്ങേക്കായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു, അവിടത്തെ വചനത്തിൽ ഞാൻ പ്രത്യാശയർപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

I hope for the Lord, my soul doth hope, and for his word do I wait.

6 പ്രഭാതത്തിനായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്ന കാവൽക്കാരനെക്കാൾ, അതേ, പ്രഭാതത്തിനായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്ന കാവൽക്കാരനെക്കാൾ, ഞാൻ കർത്താവിനായി കാത്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

My soul [waiteth] for the Lord, more than they that watch for the morning expect the morning.

7 ഇസ്രായേലേ, നിന്റെ പ്രത്യാശ യഹോവയിൽ അർപ്പിക്കുക, കാരണം യഹോവയുടെ അടുക്കൽ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹവും സമ്പൂർണ വീണ്ടെടുപ്പും ഉണ്ടല്ലോ.

Let Israel wait for the Lord; for with the Lord there is kindness, and with him is redemption in abundance;

8 ഇസ്രായേലിനെ അവരുടെ സകലപാപങ്ങളിൽനിന്നും അവിടന്നുതന്നെ വീണ്ടെടുക്കും.

And he wilt surely redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
