സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 125

1 ആരോഹണഗീതം. യഹോവയിൽ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നവർ സീയോൻ പർവതംപോലെയാണ്, അത് ഇളകാതെ എന്നേക്കും നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു.

A Song of degrees. They that trust in the LORD, [shall be] as mount Zion, [which] cannot be removed, [but] abideth for ever.

2 പർവതങ്ങൾ ജെറുശലേമിനെ വലയംചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ, യഹോവ ഇന്നും എന്നെന്നേക്കും തന്റെ ജനത്തെ വലയംചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.

[As] the mountains [are] round Jerusalem, so the LORD [is] around his people from henceforth even for ever.

3 നീതിനിഷ്ഠർ അധർമം പ്രവർത്തിക്കാൻ അവരുടെ കൈ നീട്ടാതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്, നീതിനിഷ്ഠരുടെ അവകാശഭൂമിയിൽ, ദുഷ്ടരുടെ ചെങ്കോൽ വാഴുകയില്ല.

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands to iniquity.

4 യഹോവേ, നല്ലയാളുകൾക്കും ഹൃദയപരമാർഥികൾക്കും നന്മചെയ്യണമേ.

Do good, O LORD, to [those that] are good, and to [them that are] upright in their hearts.

5 എന്നാൽ വക്രതയുടെ വഴികളിൽ തിരിയുന്നവരെ അധർമം പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവരോടുകൂടെ യഹോവ പുറന്തള്ളും. ഇസ്രായേലിന്മേൽ സമാധാനം ഉണ്ടാകുമാറാകട്ടെ.

As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, the LORD shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: [but] peace [shall be] upon Israel.
