സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 121

1 ആരോഹണഗീതം. പർവതങ്ങളിലേക്കു ഞാൻ എന്റെ കണ്ണുകൾ ഉയർത്തുന്നു— എവിടെനിന്നാണ് എനിക്കു സഹായം വരുന്നത്?

A song of degrees. I will lift mine eyes vnto the mountaines, from whence mine helpe shall come.

2 ആകാശവും ഭൂമിയും സൃഷ്ടിച്ച യഹോവയിൽനിന്നാണ് എനിക്കു സഹായം വരുന്നത്.

Mine helpe commeth from the Lord, which hath made the heauen and the earth.

3 നിന്റെ കാൽ വഴുതാൻ അവിടന്ന് അനുവദിക്കുകയില്ല— നിന്റെ കാവൽക്കാരൻ ഉറക്കംതൂങ്ങുകയുമില്ല;

He wil not suffer thy foote to slippe: for he that keepeth thee, will not slumber.

4 ഇസ്രായേലിന്റെ കാവൽക്കാരൻ ഉറങ്ങുകയോ മയങ്ങുകയോ ഇല്ല, നിശ്ചയം.

Beholde, he that keepeth Israel, wil neither slumber nor sleepe.

5 യഹോവ നിന്നെ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നു! നിനക്കു തണലേകാൻ യഹോവ നിന്റെ വലതുഭാഗത്തുണ്ട്;

The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shadow at thy right hand.

6 പകൽ, സൂര്യൻ നിന്നെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുകയില്ല, രാത്രി, ചന്ദ്രനും.

The sunne shall not smite thee by day, nor the moone by night.

7 യഹോവ സകലദോഷത്തിൽനിന്നും നിന്നെ പരിപാലിക്കും— അവിടന്നു നിന്റെ ജീവനു സംരക്ഷണം നൽകും;

The Lord shall preserue thee from all euil: he shall keepe thy soule.

8 യഹോവ നിന്റെ ഗമനത്തെയും ആഗമനത്തെയും കാത്തുപാലിക്കും, ഇന്നും എന്നെന്നേക്കും.

The Lord shall preserue thy going out, and thy comming in from henceforth and for euer.
