സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 105
1 യഹോവയ്ക്കു സ്തോത്രംചെയ്യുക, അവിടത്തെ നാമം വിളിച്ചപേക്ഷിക്കുക; അവിടത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തി ജനതകൾക്കിടയിൽ വിളംബരംചെയ്യുക.
O give thanks to the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
2 അവിടത്തേക്ക് പാടുക, അവിടത്തേക്ക് സ്തോത്രഗീതങ്ങൾ ആലപിക്കുക; അവിടത്തെ അത്ഭുതപ്രവൃത്തികൾ വർണിക്കുക.
Sing to him, sing psalms to him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
3 അവിടത്തെ വിശുദ്ധനാമത്തിൽ അഭിമാനംകൊള്ളുക; യഹോവയെ അന്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരുടെ ഹൃദയം ആനന്ദിക്കട്ടെ.
Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
4 യഹോവയെയും അവിടത്തെ ശക്തിയെയും അന്വേഷിക്കുക; എപ്പോഴും അവിടത്തെ മുഖവും.
Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
5 യഹോവയുടെ ദാസനായ അബ്രാഹാമിന്റെ സന്തതികളേ, അവിടന്ന് തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത യാക്കോബിന്റെ മക്കളേ, അവിടന്നു ചെയ്ത അത്ഭുതപ്രവൃത്തികൾ ഓർക്കുക, അവിടത്തെ അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും ന്യായവിധികളും സ്മരിക്കുക.
Remember his wonderful works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
7 അവിടന്ന് നമ്മുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു; അവിടത്തെ ന്യായവിധികൾ ഭൂതലത്തിലെല്ലാം ഉണ്ട്.
He [is] the LORD our God: his judgments [are] in all the earth.
8 അവിടന്നു തന്റെ ഉടമ്പടി എന്നേക്കും ഓർക്കുന്നു, അവിടത്തെ വാഗ്ദത്തം ഒരായിരം തലമുറകൾവരെയും
He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word [which] he commanded to a thousand generations.
9 അവിടന്ന് അബ്രാഹാമിനോടു ചെയ്ത ഉടമ്പടിയും യിസ്ഹാക്കിനോടു ചെയ്ത ശപഥവുംതന്നെ.
Which [covenant] he made with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac;
10 അവിടന്ന് അത് യാക്കോബിന് ഒരു പ്രമാണമായും ഇസ്രായേലിന് ഒരു ശാശ്വത ഉടമ്പടിയായും ഉറപ്പിച്ചുനൽകി:
And confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, [and] to Israel [for] an everlasting covenant:
11 “നിങ്ങളുടെ അവകാശത്തിന്റെ ഓഹരിയായി, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് കനാൻദേശം നൽകും.”
Saying, To thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
12 അന്ന് അവർ എണ്ണത്തിൽ കുറവായിരുന്നപ്പോൾ, ചെറിയൊരുകൂട്ടവും പ്രവാസികളും ആയിരുന്നപ്പോൾ,
When they were a few men in number; yes, very few, and strangers in it.
13 അവർ രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളിലേക്കും ഒരു രാജ്യത്തുനിന്ന് മറ്റൊന്നിലേക്കും അലഞ്ഞുതിരിഞ്ഞു.
When they went from one nation to another, from [one] kingdom to another people;
14 അവരെ പീഡിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിന് അവിടന്ന് ആരെയും അനുവദിച്ചില്ല; അവർക്കുവേണ്ടി അവിടന്ന് രാജാക്കന്മാരെ ശാസിച്ചു:
He suffered no man to do them wrong: yes, he reproved kings for their sakes;
15 “എന്റെ അഭിഷിക്തരെ സ്പർശിക്കരുത്; എന്റെ പ്രവാചകർക്ക് ഒരു ദ്രോഹവും ചെയ്യരുത്.”
[Saying], Touch not my anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
16 അവിടന്ന് ദേശത്ത് ക്ഷാമം വരുത്തുകയും അവർക്ക് ഭക്ഷണം ലഭിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള മാർഗം ഇല്ലാതാക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു;
Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he broke the whole staff of bread.
17 അവിടന്ന് ഒരു പുരുഷനെ അവർക്കുമുമ്പായി അയച്ചു— അടിമയായി വിൽക്കപ്പെട്ട യോസേഫിനെത്തന്നെ.
He sent a man before them, [even] Joseph, [who] was sold for a servant:
18 അവർ ചങ്ങലയാൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പാദങ്ങളിൽ മുറിവേൽപ്പിച്ചു, അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കഴുത്ത് ഇരുമ്പുപട്ടകൾക്കകത്തായിരുന്നു;
Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
19 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പ്രവചനം യാഥാർഥ്യമാകുന്നതുവരെ, അതേ, യഹോവയുടെ വചനം അദ്ദേഹം സത്യവാനെന്നു തെളിയിക്കുന്നതുവരെത്തന്നെ.
Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.
20 രാജാവ് ആളയച്ച് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ മോചിപ്പിച്ചു, ആ ജനതയുടെ ഭരണാധിപൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ സ്വതന്ത്രനാക്കി.
The king sent and loosed him; [even] the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
21 രാജാവ് അദ്ദേഹത്തെ തന്റെ ഭവനത്തിന്റെ അധിപതിയാക്കി, തനിക്കുള്ള സകലസമ്പത്തിന്റെയും ഭരണാധിപനും;
He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
22 തന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർക്ക് യോസേഫിന്റെ ഹിതപ്രകാരം ശിക്ഷണം നൽകുന്നതിനും തന്റെ പ്രമുഖരെ ജ്ഞാനം അഭ്യസിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനുംതന്നെ.
To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
23 അതിനുശേഷം ഇസ്രായേൽ ഈജിപ്റ്റിലേക്കു പ്രവേശിച്ചു; ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്ത് യാക്കോബ് ഒരു പ്രവാസിയായി താമസിച്ചു.
Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 യഹോവ തന്റെ ജനത്തെ അത്യധികമായി വർധിപ്പിച്ചു; അവരെ അവരുടെ ശത്രുക്കളെക്കാളും അതിശക്തരാക്കി,
And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
25 അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ ഹൃദയം തന്റെ ജനത്തെ വെറുക്കുന്നതിനായി തിരിച്ചുവിട്ടു, യഹോവയുടെ സേവകർക്കെതിരേ ഗൂഢാലോചന നടത്തുന്നതിനായിത്തന്നെ.
He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
26 അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ ദാസനായ മോശയെ അയച്ചു, താൻ തെരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത അഹരോനെയും.
He sent Moses his servant; [and] Aaron whom he had chosen.
27 അവർ ഈജിപ്റ്റുകാർക്കിടയിൽ അങ്ങയുടെ ചിഹ്നങ്ങളും ഹാമിന്റെ ദേശത്ത് അത്ഭുതങ്ങളും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു.
They showed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 അവിടന്ന് ഇരുൾ അയച്ച് ദേശത്തെ അന്ധകാരമാക്കി; അവർ അവിടത്തെ ഉത്തരവുകൾ പാലിക്കാതിരുന്നതിനാൽത്തന്നെ.
He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
29 അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ വെള്ളം മുഴുവനും രക്തമാക്കി; അവരുടെ മത്സ്യങ്ങളെ കൊന്നുകളഞ്ഞു.
He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
30 അവരുടെ ദേശത്ത് തവളകൾ തിങ്ങിനിറഞ്ഞു, അവ ഭരണാധിപന്മാരുടെ കിടപ്പുമുറികളിൽപോലും എത്തിച്ചേർന്നു.
Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
31 അവിടന്ന് ആജ്ഞാപിച്ചു, ഈച്ചകൾ കൂട്ടമായി വന്നണഞ്ഞു, അവരുടെ ദേശത്തെല്ലാം പേനും പെരുകി.
He spoke, and there came divers sorts of flies, [and] lice in all their borders.
32 മഴയ്ക്കുപകരമായി അവിടന്നവർക്ക് കന്മഴനൽകി, ദേശത്തിലുടനീളം മിന്നൽപ്പിണരുകൾ വീശിയടിച്ചു;
He gave them hail for rain, [and] flaming fire in their land.
33 അവിടന്ന് അവരുടെ മുന്തിരിവള്ളികളും അത്തിമരങ്ങളും രാജ്യത്തുടനീളമുള്ള സകലവൃക്ഷങ്ങളും തകർത്തുകളഞ്ഞു.
He smote their vines also and their fig-trees; and broke the trees of their borders.
34 അവിടന്ന് ഉത്തരവുനൽകി, വെട്ടുക്കിളി പറന്നുവന്നു, പുൽച്ചാടികളുടെ എണ്ണം അസംഖ്യമായിരുന്നു;
He spoke, and the locusts came, and caterpillars, and that without number,
35 അവ ദേശത്തെ പച്ചിലകൾ സകലതും തിന്നൊടുക്കി, നിലത്തിലെ സകലവിളവും അവ തിന്നുതീർത്തു.
And ate up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
36 അതിനുശേഷം ദേശത്തിലെ സകല ആദ്യജാതന്മാരെയും അവിടന്ന് സംഹരിച്ചു, അവരുടെ പൗരുഷത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യഫലങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ.
He smote also all the first-born in their land, the chief of all their strength.
37 അവിടന്ന് ഇസ്രായേലിനെ വെള്ളിയോടും സ്വർണത്തോടുംകൂടെ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു, ഇസ്രായേൽഗോത്രങ്ങളിൽ ആരുടെയും അടിപതറിയില്ല.
He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and [there was] not one feeble [person] among their tribes.
38 അവർ പുറപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ ഈജിപ്റ്റ് ആഹ്ലാദിച്ചു; ഇസ്രായേലിനെപ്പറ്റിയുള്ള ഭീതി അവരുടെമേൽ വീണിരുന്നതിനാൽത്തന്നെ.
Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
39 അവർക്കുമീതേ ആവരണമായി അവിടന്ന് ഒരു മേഘത്തെ വിരിച്ചു, രാത്രി പ്രകാശത്തിനായി അഗ്നിയും അവർക്കു നൽകി.
He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
40 അവർ ചോദിച്ചു, അപ്പോൾ അങ്ങ് അവർക്ക് കാടപ്പക്ഷികളെ നൽകി; ആകാശത്തുനിന്നുള്ള അപ്പംകൊണ്ട് അവരെ തൃപ്തരാക്കി.
[The people] asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
41 അവിടന്ന് പാറയെ പിളർന്നു, വെള്ളം പൊട്ടിപ്പുറപ്പെട്ടു; മരുഭൂമിയിലതൊരു നദിപോലെ ഒഴുകി.
He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places [like] a river.
42 അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ ദാസനായ അബ്രാഹാമിനു നൽകിയ വിശുദ്ധ വാഗ്ദാനത്തെ ഓർത്തതിനാൽത്തന്നെ.
For he remembered his holy promise, [and] Abraham his servant.
43 അവിടന്ന് തന്റെ ജനത്തെ ആനന്ദത്തോടും തന്റെ തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ടവരെ ആഹ്ലാദാരവത്തോടുംകൂടെ ആനയിച്ചു.
And he brought forth his people with joy, [and] his chosen with gladness:
44 അവിടന്ന് അവർക്ക് ഇതര രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങളുടെ ഭൂപ്രദേശം നൽകി, അങ്ങനെ അന്യരുടെ അധ്വാനഫലം അവർ അവകാശമായി അനുഭവിച്ചു—
And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labor of the people;
45 അവർ അവിടത്തെ പ്രമാണങ്ങൾ പാലിക്കേണ്ടതിനും അവിടത്തെ നിയമങ്ങൾ അനുസരിക്കേണ്ടതിനുംതന്നെ. യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.
That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.
