സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 104

1 എൻ മനമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക. എന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവേ, അവിടന്ന് മഹോന്നതനാണ്; അവിടന്ന് പ്രതാപവും മഹത്ത്വവും അണിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

To David himself. Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, you are exceedingly great. You have clothed yourself with confession and beauty;

2 ഒരു ഉടയാടപോലെ അവിടന്ന് പ്രകാശത്തെ ചുറ്റിയിരിക്കുന്നു; ഒരു കൂടാരം എന്നപോലെ അവിടന്ന് ആകാശത്തെ വിരിക്കുകയും

you are dressed with light like a garment, while you stretch out heaven like a tent.

3 മാളികയുടെ തുലാങ്ങളെ വെള്ളത്തിനുമീതേ നിരത്തുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. അവിടന്ന് മേഘങ്ങളെ തന്റെ തേരാക്കി, കാറ്റിൻചിറകിലേറി സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നു.

You cover its heights with water. You set the clouds as your stairs. You walk upon the wings of the winds.

4 അവിടന്ന് കാറ്റുകളെ തന്റെ ദൂതന്മാരും അഗ്നിജ്വാലകളെ തന്റെ സേവകരും ആക്കുന്നു.

You make your Angels a breath of life, and your ministers a burning fire.

5 അവിടന്ന് ഭൂമിയെ അതിന്റെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിന്മേൽ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ട് അത് ഒരിക്കലും ഇളകുകയില്ല.

You founded the earth upon its stable base. It will not be bent from age to age.

6 അവിടന്ന് വസ്ത്രംകൊണ്ടെന്നപോലെ അതിനെ ആഴികൊണ്ട് ആവരണംചെയ്തു; വെള്ളം പർവതങ്ങൾക്കുമീതേപോലും നിലകൊണ്ടു.

The abyss, like a garment, is its clothing. The waters will remain standing above the mountains.

7 എന്നാൽ അവിടത്തെ ശാസനയാൽ വെള്ളം പിൻവാങ്ങി, അവിടത്തെ ഇടിമുഴക്കത്തിന്റെ ശബ്ദംകേട്ട് അത് പലായനംചെയ്തു;

At your rebuke, they will flee. At the voice of your thunder, they will dread.

8 പർവതങ്ങൾ ഉയർന്നു, താഴ്വരകൾ താണു, അവിടന്ന് അവയ്ക്കായി നിശ്ചയിച്ച സ്ഥാനത്തുതന്നെ.

The mountains ascend, and the plains descend, to the place which you have founded for them.

9 അങ്ങ് ആഴികൾക്ക് ലംഘിക്കരുതാത്ത ഒരു അതിർത്തി നിശ്ചയിച്ചു; അവ ഇനിയൊരിക്കലും ഭൂമിയെ മൂടുകയില്ല.

You have set a limit that they will not cross. And they will not return to cover the earth.

10 മലയിടുക്കുകളിൽനിന്ന് അവിടന്ന് നീർച്ചാലുകൾ പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുന്നു; അവ പർവതങ്ങൾക്കിടയിലൂടെ പാഞ്ഞൊഴുകുന്നു.

You spring forth fountains in steep valleys. The waters will cross through the midst of the mountains.

11 അവയിൽനിന്ന് വയലിലെ സകലമൃഗജാലങ്ങളും കുടിക്കുന്നു; കാട്ടുകഴുതകളും അവയുടെ ദാഹം ശമിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

All the wild beasts of the field will drink. The wild donkeys will anticipate in their thirst.

12 ആകാശത്തിലെ പറവകൾ അവയുടെ തീരങ്ങളിൽ കൂടൊരുക്കുന്നു; ചില്ലകൾക്കിടയിലിരുന്ന് അവ പാടുന്നു.

Above them, the flying things of the air will dwell. From the midst of the rocks, they will utter voices.

13 അവിടന്ന് മാളികമുറികളിൽനിന്ന് പർവതങ്ങളെ നനയ്ക്കുന്നു; ഭൂമി അവിടത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ ഫലത്താൽ സംതൃപ്തിനേടുന്നു.

You irrigate the mountains from your heights. The earth will be satiated from the fruit of your works,

14 കന്നുകാലികൾക്കായി അവിടന്ന് പുല്ല് മുളപ്പിക്കുന്നു മനുഷ്യർക്ക് ആഹാരം ലഭിക്കേണ്ടതിനു ഭൂമിയിൽനിന്ന് സസ്യസമ്പത്തും അവിടന്ന് വളരുമാറാക്കുന്നു:

producing grass for cattle and herbs for the service of men. So may you draw bread from the earth,

15 മനുഷ്യഹൃദയത്തിന് ആനന്ദമേകുന്ന വീഞ്ഞ്, അവരുടെ മുഖത്തെ മിനുക്കുന്നതിനുള്ള എണ്ണ, മനുഷ്യഹൃദയത്തിനു ശക്തിപകരുന്ന ആഹാരം എന്നിവതന്നെ.

and wine, in order to cheer the heart of man. Then he may gladden his face with oil, and bread will confirm the heart of man.

16 യഹോവയുടെ വൃക്ഷങ്ങൾ നന്നായി നനയ്ക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, അവിടന്ന് നട്ടിട്ടുള്ള ലെബാനോനിലെ ദേവദാരുക്കൾതന്നെ.

The trees of the field will be saturated, along with the cedars of Lebanon, which he planted.

17 അവിടെ പക്ഷികൾ കൂടൊരുക്കുന്നു; കൊക്കുകൾ സരളവൃക്ഷങ്ങളിൽ പാർപ്പിടമൊരുക്കുന്നു.

There, the sparrows will make their nests. The leader of them is the house of the heron.

18 ഉയർന്ന പർവതങ്ങൾ കാട്ടാടുകൾക്കുള്ളതാണ്; കിഴുക്കാംതൂക്കായ പാറ കുഴിമുയലുകൾക്ക് സങ്കേതമാകുന്നു.

The heights of the hills are for the deer; the rock is a refuge for the hedgehog.

19 ഋതുക്കളുടെ മാറ്റങ്ങൾ നിർണയിക്കുന്നതിനായി അവിടന്ന് ചന്ദ്രനെ നിർമിച്ചു, എപ്പോഴാണ് അസ്തമിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് സൂര്യനും നിശ്ചയമുണ്ട്.

He has made the moon for seasons; the sun knows its setting.

20 അവിടന്ന് അന്ധകാരം കൊണ്ടുവരുന്നു, അപ്പോൾ രാത്രിയാകുന്നു, അങ്ങനെ കാട്ടിലെ സകലമൃഗങ്ങളും ഇരതേടി അലയുന്നു.

You appointed darkness, and it has become night; all the beasts of the forest will cross through it.

21 സിംഹങ്ങൾ ഇരയ്ക്കായി ഗർജിക്കുന്നു, ദൈവത്തോട് തങ്ങളുടെ ആഹാരം ചോദിക്കുന്നു.

The young lions will roar, while searching for and seizing their meal from God.

22 സൂര്യൻ ഉദിക്കുമ്പോൾ അവ പിൻവാങ്ങുന്നു; അവ മടങ്ങിപ്പോയി തങ്ങളുടെ ഗുഹകളിൽ വിശ്രമിക്കുന്നു.

The sun arose, and they were gathered together; and in their dens, they will lie down together.

23 അപ്പോൾ മനുഷ്യർ തങ്ങളുടെ വേലയ്ക്കായി പുറപ്പെടുന്നു, വൈകുന്നേരംവരെ അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ വേല തുടരുന്നു.

Man will go forth to his work and to his activities, until the evening.

24 യഹോവേ, വൈവിധ്യമാർന്ന ജീവികളെയാണല്ലോ അവിടന്ന് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്! അവയെയെല്ലാം അങ്ങ് ജ്ഞാനത്തോടെ നിർമിച്ചു; ഭൂമി അവിടത്തെ സൃഷ്ടികളാൽ നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

How great are your works, O Lord! You have made all things in wisdom. The earth has been filled with your possessions.

25 അതാ, അനന്തവിശാലമായ സമുദ്രം, ചെറുതും വലുതുമായ ജീവജാലങ്ങൾ നിറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു— അസംഖ്യം ജീവജാലങ്ങൾ അവിടെ വിഹരിക്കുന്നു.

This sea is great and its hands are spacious. There are creeping things without number: the small animals with the great.

26 അതിൽക്കൂടി കപ്പലുകൾ അങ്ങോട്ടും ഇങ്ങോട്ടും ഓടുന്നു, അതിൽ തിമിർത്താടുന്നതിനായി അങ്ങ് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ലിവ്യാഥാനുമുണ്ട്.

There, the ships will pass by this sea-serpent that you have formed to mock them.

27 തക്കസമയത്ത് ആഹാരം ലഭിക്കുന്നതിനായി എല്ലാ ജീവികളും അങ്ങയിലേക്ക് നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.

All these expect you to give them food in due time.

28 അങ്ങ് അവയ്ക്ക് ആഹാരം നൽകുന്നു, അവയത് ശേഖരിക്കുന്നു; അങ്ങ് തൃക്കൈ തുറക്കുമ്പോൾ അവ നന്മകൊണ്ട് തൃപ്തരാകുന്നു.

What you give to them, they will gather. When you open your hand, they will all be filled with goodness.

29 അവിടന്ന് തിരുമുഖം മറയ്ക്കുന്നു, അവ പരിഭ്രാന്തരാകുന്നു; അങ്ങ് അവയുടെ ശ്വാസം എടുക്കുമ്പോൾ അവ ജീവനറ്റ് മണ്ണിലേക്കു മടങ്ങുന്നു.

But if you turn your face away, they will be disturbed. You will take away their breath, and they will fail, and they will return to their dust.

30 അങ്ങ് അങ്ങയുടെ ആത്മാവിനെ അയയ്ക്കുമ്പോൾ അവ സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, അങ്ങനെ അങ്ങ് ഭൂമിയുടെ പ്രതലം നവീകരിക്കുന്നു.

You will send forth your Spirit, and they will be created. And you will renew the face of the earth.

31 യഹോവയുടെ മഹത്ത്വം ശാശ്വതമായി നിലനിൽക്കട്ടെ; യഹോവ അവിടത്തെ പ്രവൃത്തികളിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കട്ടെ—

May the glory of the Lord be for all ages. The Lord will rejoice in his works.

32 അവിടന്ന് ഭൂമിയെ വീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു, അതു പ്രകമ്പനംകൊള്ളുന്നു, അവിടന്ന് പർവതങ്ങളെ സ്പർശിക്കുന്നു, അവ പുകയുന്നു.

He considers the earth, and he makes it tremble. He touches the mountains, and they smoke.

33 ഞാൻ എന്റെ ജീവിതം മുഴുവനും യഹോവയ്ക്കു പാടും; എന്റെ ജീവിതകാലമൊക്കെയും ഞാൻ എന്റെ ദൈവത്തെ വാഴ്ത്തിപ്പാടും.

I will sing to the Lord with my life. I will sing psalms to my God, as long as I am.

34 ഞാൻ യഹോവയിൽ ആനന്ദിക്കുമ്പോൾ എന്റെ ധ്യാനം അവിടത്തേക്ക് പ്രസാദകരമായിത്തീരട്ടെ.

May my speech be pleasing to him. Truly, I will take delight in the Lord.

35 എന്നാൽ പാപികൾ പാരിടത്തിൽനിന്ന് തുടച്ചുനീക്കപ്പെടുകയും ദുഷ്ടർ ഇല്ലാതെയുമായിത്തീരട്ടെ. എൻ മനമേ, യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക. യഹോവയെ വാഴ്ത്തുക.

Let sinners fade away from the earth, along with the unjust, so that they may not be. Bless the Lord, O my soul.
