സങ്കീർത്തനങ്ങൾ 101

1 ദാവീദിന്റെ ഒരു സങ്കീർത്തനം. അങ്ങയുടെ അചഞ്ചലസ്നേഹത്തെയും നീതിയെയുംകുറിച്ച് ഞാൻ പാടും യഹോവേ, അങ്ങയെ ഞാൻ വാഴ്ത്തിപ്പാടും.

A Psalm of David. I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing praises.

2 നിഷ്കളങ്കമായ ഒരു ജീവിതം നയിക്കുന്നതിൽ ഞാൻ ശ്രദ്ധചെലുത്തും— അവിടന്ന് എപ്പോഴാണ് എന്റെ അരികിൽ എത്തുക? പരമാർഥഹൃദയത്തോടെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ ഭവനത്തിൽ പെരുമാറും.

I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way: Oh when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

3 എന്റെ കണ്ണിനുമുന്നിൽ ഒരു നീചകാര്യവും ഞാൻ വെക്കുകയില്ല. വിശ്വാസഘാതകരുടെ പ്രവൃത്തികൾ ഞാൻ വെറുക്കുന്നു; എനിക്ക് അവരുമായി യാതൊരു പങ്കുമില്ല.

I will set no base thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave unto me.

4 വക്രഹൃദയം എന്നിൽനിന്ന് ഏറെ അകലെയാണ്; തിന്മപ്രവൃത്തികളുമായി എനിക്കു യാതൊരു ബന്ധവുമില്ല.

A froward heart shall depart from me: I will know no evil thing.

5 തന്റെ അയൽവാസിക്കെതിരേ രഹസ്യമായി ഏഷണി പറയുന്നവരെ ഞാൻ നശിപ്പിക്കും; അഹന്തനിറഞ്ഞ കണ്ണും നിഗളമുള്ള ഹൃദയവും ഉള്ളവരെ ഞാൻ സഹിക്കുകയില്ല.

Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I destroy: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will I not suffer.

6 ദേശത്തിലെ വിശ്വസ്തർ എന്നോടൊപ്പം വസിക്കേണ്ടതിന് എന്റെ ദൃഷ്ടി അവരുടെമേൽ വെച്ചിരിക്കും; നിഷ്കളങ്കരായി ജീവിക്കുന്നവർ എനിക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷചെയ്യും.

Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall minister unto me.

7 വഞ്ചന പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നവരാരും എന്റെ ഭവനത്തിൽ വസിക്കുകയില്ല; വ്യാജം പറയുന്നവരാരും എന്റെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഉറച്ചുനിൽക്കുകയില്ല.

He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that speaketh falsehood shall not be established before mine eyes.

8 ദേശത്തിലെ സകലദുഷ്ടരെയും ഓരോ പ്രഭാതത്തിലും ഞാൻ കണ്ടെത്തി നശിപ്പിക്കും; അധർമികളായ എല്ലാവരെയും ഞാൻ യഹോവയുടെ നഗരത്തിൽനിന്ന് ഛേദിച്ചുകളയും.

Morning by morning will I destroy all the wicked of the land; to cut off all the workers of iniquity from the city of the LORD.
