1 യഹോവ മോശയോടും അഹരോനോടും അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു:
And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
2 “ഇസ്രായേൽജനം തങ്ങളുടെ ഗോത്രചിഹ്നങ്ങളുള്ള പതാകകൾക്കു കീഴിൽ സമാഗമകൂടാരത്തിനുചുറ്റും അൽപ്പം അകലെയായി പാളയമടിക്കണം.”
The children of Israel shall pitch every man by his own standard, with the ensigns of their fathers’ houses: over against the tent of meeting shall they pitch round about.
3 യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തിലുള്ളവർ സൂര്യോദയത്തിന് അഭിമുഖമായി തങ്ങളുടെ പതാകയിൻകീഴിൽ പാളയമടിക്കണം. അമ്മീനാദാബിന്റെ മകൻ നഹശോനാണ് യെഹൂദാഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭു.
And those that pitch on the east side toward the sunrising shall be they of the standard of the camp of Judah, according to their hosts: and the prince of the children of Judah shall be Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
4 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലുള്ളവർ 74,600.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.
5 യിസ്സാഖാർഗോത്രം അവർക്ക് അടുത്തായി പാളയമടിക്കും. സൂവാരിന്റെ മകൻ നെഥനയേലാണ് യിസ്സാഖാർഗോത്രാംഗങ്ങളുടെ പ്രഭു.
And those that pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and the prince of the children of Issachar shall be Nethanel the son of Zuar:
6 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലുള്ളവർ 54,400.
and his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred:
7 അടുത്തത് സെബൂലൂൻ ഗോത്രമായിരിക്കും. ഹേലോന്റെ മകൻ എലീയാബാണ് സെബൂലൂൻഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭു.
[and] the tribe of Zebulun: and the prince of the children of Zebulun shall be Eliab the son of Helon:
8 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലുള്ളവർ 57,400.
and his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.
9 യെഹൂദാ പാളയത്തിലേക്കു നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ട പുരുഷന്മാരുടെ എണ്ണം അവരുടെ ഗണങ്ങളിൻപ്രകാരം ആകെ 1,86,400. ആദ്യം അവർ പുറപ്പെടണം.
All that were numbered of the camp of Judah were an hundred thousand and fourscore thousand and six thousand and four hundred, according to their hosts. They shall set forth first.
10 രൂബേൻഗോത്രത്തിലുള്ളവർ തങ്ങളുടെ പതാകയിൻകീഴിൽ തെക്കുഭാഗത്തു പാളയമടിക്കണം. ശെദെയൂരിന്റെ മകൻ എലീസൂർ ആണ് രൂബേൻഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭു.
On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their hosts: and the prince of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.
11 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലുള്ളവർ 46,500.
And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
12 ശിമെയോൻഗോത്രം അവർക്ക് അടുത്തായി പാളയമടിക്കും. സൂരീശദ്ദായിയുടെ മകൻ ശെലൂമിയേലാണ് ശിമെയോൻഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭു.
And those that pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Simeon: and the prince of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai:
13 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലുള്ളവർ 59,300.
and his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred:
14 ഗാദ്ഗോത്രമായിരിക്കും അടുത്തത്. രെയൂവേലിന്റെ മകൻ എലീയാസാഫാണ് ഗാദ്ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭു.
and the tribe of Gad: and the prince of the children of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel.
15 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലുള്ളവർ 45,650.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and five thousand and six hundred and fifty.
16 രൂബേൻപാളയത്തിലേക്കു നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ട പുരുഷന്മാർ, അവരുടെ ഗണങ്ങളിൻപ്രകാരം ആകെ 1,51,450. അവർ രണ്ടാമതായി പുറപ്പെടും.
All that were numbered of the camp of Reuben were an hundred thousand and fifty and one thousand and four hundred and fifty, according to their hosts. And they shall set forth second.
17 പിന്നീട് പാളയങ്ങൾക്കു മധ്യത്തിലായി സമാഗമകൂടാരവും ലേവ്യരുടെ പാളയവും യാത്രപുറപ്പെടും. പാളയമടിക്കുമ്പോഴുള്ള ക്രമംപോലെ ഓരോരുത്തരും സ്വന്തം പതാകയ്ക്കു കീഴിലായി അവരവരുടെ ക്രമമനുസരിച്ചു പുറപ്പെടണം.
Then the tent of meeting shall set forward, with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camps: as they encamp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place, by their standards.
18 എഫ്രയീംഗണം, തങ്ങളുടെ പതാകയിൻകീഴിൽ പടിഞ്ഞാറുഭാഗത്തു പാളയമിറങ്ങണം. അമ്മീഹൂദിന്റെ മകൻ എലീശാമ ആണ് എഫ്രയീംഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭു.
On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their hosts: and the prince of the children of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.
19 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലുള്ളവർ 40,500.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty thousand and five hundred.
20 മനശ്ശെഗോത്രം ആയിരിക്കും അടുത്തത്. പെദാസൂരിന്റെ മകൻ ഗമാലിയേൽ ആണ് മനശ്ശെഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭു.
And next unto him shall be the tribe of Manasseh: and the prince of the children of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur:
21 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലുള്ളവർ 32,200.
and his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred:
22 അതിനുശേഷം ബെന്യാമീൻഗോത്രം വരും. ഗിദെയോനിയുടെ മകൻ അബീദാൻ ആണ് ബെന്യാമീൻഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭു.
and the tribe of Benjamin: and the prince of the children of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni:
23 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലുള്ളവർ 35,400.
and his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.
24 എഫ്രയീം പാളയത്തിലേക്കു നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ട പുരുഷന്മാർ, അവരുടെ ഗണങ്ങളിൻപ്രകാരം ആകെ 1,08,100. അവർ മൂന്നാമതായി പുറപ്പെടും.
All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were an hundred thousand and eight thousand and an hundred, according to their hosts. And they shall set forth third.
25 ദാൻഗണം വടക്ക്: തങ്ങളുടെ പതാകയിൻകീഴിൽ പാളയമടിക്കും. അമ്മീശദ്ദായിയുടെ മകൻ അഹീയേസെർ ആണ് ദാൻഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭു.
On the north side shall be the standard of the camp of Dan according to their hosts: and the prince of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
26 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലുള്ളവർ 62,700.
And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.
27 അവർക്ക് അടുത്ത് ആശേർഗോത്രം പാളയമടിക്കും. ഒക്രാന്റെ മകൻ പഗീയേൽ ആണ് ആശേർഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭു.
And those that pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Asher: and the prince of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ochran:
28 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലുള്ളവർ 41,500.
and his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and one thousand and five hundred:
29 നഫ്താലി ഗോത്രമായിരിക്കും അടുത്തത്. ഏനാന്റെ മകൻ അഹീരാ ആണു നഫ്താലിഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭു.
and the tribe of Naphtali: and the prince of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan:
30 അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഗണത്തിലുള്ളവർ 53,400.
and his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
31 ദാൻപാളയത്തിലേക്കു നിശ്ചയിക്കപ്പെട്ട പുരുഷന്മാർ ആകെ 1, 57, 600. തങ്ങളുടെ പതാകയിൻകീഴിൽ അവർ ഒടുവിലായി പുറപ്പെടും.
All that were numbered of the camp of Dan were an hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred. They shall set forth hindmost by their standards.
32 കുടുംബങ്ങളായി എണ്ണപ്പെട്ട ഇസ്രായേല്യർ ഇവരാണ്. ഗണംഗണമായി പാളയങ്ങളിലുള്ള പുരുഷന്മാർ ആകെ 6,03,550.
These are they that were numbered of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses: all that were numbered of the camps according to their hosts were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
33 യഹോവ മോശയോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചതുപോലെ മറ്റ് ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കളോടൊപ്പം ലേവ്യരെ എണ്ണിയില്ല.
But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.
34 അങ്ങനെ യഹോവ മോശയോടു കൽപ്പിച്ചതെല്ലാം ഇസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ ചെയ്തു; അപ്രകാരമായിരുന്നു അവർ തങ്ങളുടെ പതാകകളിൻകീഴിൽ പാളയമടിച്ചത്, അങ്ങനെയായിരുന്നു ഓരോരുത്തരും തങ്ങളുടെ കുടുംബത്തോടും പിതൃഭവനത്തോടുമൊപ്പം പുറപ്പെട്ടത്.
Thus did the children of Israel; according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one by their families, according to their fathers’ houses.
